Eden was woken up by four paws landing on her chest and a ton of puppy kisses. She smiled shaking her head, "Alright, alright, Flick. I'm gettin up!" she said as she sat up. She looked at the clock, it was time for Flick's walk. She got up and showered, and got dressed. Jeans and a blue baby tee. She brushed her stick straight black hair, and then ran to the kitchen. She grabbed a breakfast bar, and a bottle of water. Then she walked to the door where the leash was hanging. She put it on Flick, and then they left the house. She made her way to the dog park where she walked Flick every morning. When they arrived she took their usual route. She was considering walking on different paths today, Flick would enjoy that.

Andreas woke up to a doorbell, he looked at his clock and rolled over to kiss his wife, whom was not there. He jumped out of bed and ran for the door. "Hello........... Oh, no, no, nononononononononono." to which a reply was made with a "sorry sir but your wife has been in a car accident and was pronounced dead on the scene, is there anyone I can call for you." Andreas just fell to the ground and woke up days later in the hospital with his family surrounding him.
(5 years later)
..... ... .. "Yes I understand. I will be in tomorrow, thank you for at least yesterday and today off." Andreas walked over to Thore, and patted him awake. "Hey black beauty, ready for the park?" Thore perked up and ran for the door, and slid his collar on to which he was waiting to be tightened. Andreas tightened it and walked across the street to the park, and started on his trails, he walked 2 hours every sunday, but spent his days off in the park now that he had Thore. He smiled as he passed an elderly man going home from a brisk morning walk. As he turned a corner he dropped the leash and Thore took off.

Eden allowed Flick, her border collie to choose which paths they took. She seemed to be enjoying herself. Eden was just enjoying the time outside. She was a writer, and she spent a lot of her time being cooped up in front of her laptop. She loved her walks with Flick, they kept her sane.

Andreas ran frantic. He was asking everyone if they had seen his black lab/wolf mix. He ran about a mile and he finally heard a whimper, to his relief it was Thore and he had be caught by a vine. "Hey, do NOT ever do that again, bad Thore, bad." He walked with him in his arms for awhile and then finally let him walk again. "Okay buddy, lead the way."

Eden walked with Flick by her side, Flick was a good walker, always had been. She always stayed right beside Eden. Every now and then Eden would run for a while, she thought it was good for her dog. She made small talk with her dog, talking about her plans for the day, what they would have for dinner, and how long she would be writing this afternoon.

Andreas walked around for a little while, then he put Thore in the gated dog area and then sat down. He gently fell asleep and had a wonderful dream.
