Kieran lost the rest of his dinner on the rock nearby a small stream. Ever since he had lost it with Percy he had gone insane with grief. From afar the image of the cat was piteous, where there was once a healthy large structure now had dwindled to very little, knees worn out in his once immaculate slacks, jacket long gone, and top hat strewn across in front of some bar no doubt. The only thing that remained untouched was the silver and black cane resting at his side. He took a swig from a sake bottle and wailed his piteous existence to the world, which in turn came out as a name, Percy. Holding himself tight he drew his cane to his chest unsheathing the hidden sword. A few moments later he allowed his life liquid to flow freely and mingle with the water inches away. Collapsing with one last shudder he fell into a bloody heap, giving his body back to the gods.
Aidan was at a bar not too far away dancing with the young Manx female he had met a while back when he doubled over in unbearable pain. He was shaking horribly as thoughts of Kieran filled his mind, of his twin brother. He grabbed Hikari from the waste and pulled her into him using her shoulder as a head rest. “I… I need air.” He managed still leaning on her with as little weight as he could manage.

Hikari gasped at Aidan's sudden cletcing grasp on her. She held him in return and felt him shaking. "Of course, that's fine." she said worrying about him. She found herself more and more caring for Aidan, she couldn't help herself.
As slight as Hikari was she still help hold Aidan up escorting him out of the small bar and dance club. Her skirt flailing at the burst of air that came when then exited the hidden building entrance. The outside air was warm around them and the stars shown overhead shining down with the nearly full moon. It was gorgeous out but something seemed out of place, like a horrible foreboding that even made Hikari shiver under its weight.
She looked back to Aidan dolefully. "You gonna be okay Hun?" she asked, rubbing his back.

Aidan merely stared straight ahead, his mind was filled with pain, and he had no idea why. “Do you mind if we take a walk?” Then the smell hit him, the coppery taste filled his mouth as though he were drinking it from a cup. Blood, and not far away. He tried to close his mind from it, but it was as though he were drowning in the smell, as though it were his. The beautiful night seemed to be mocking the large male, teasing him of what he would find just ahead. With a few hesitant steps the Siberian found himself running toward the smell, detaching himself from Hikari and fighting his own will to throw up. When he rounded the corner he saw a top hat on a garbage bin and knew what he would surely find just around the other corner.

Hikari nodded keeping close to Aidan's side. Something was wrong, really, really wrong.
When Aidan detached himself from her and took off she ran after him, cursing her skirt and held it up as so that it wouldn't trip her, but the damn heels she was wearing didn't help her much either but she still kept Aidan within her sight. She too caught a glimpse of the familiar top hat. "Oh no..." she whispered to herself. That was Kieran's, at that she tried to speed up her pace without risking falling and breaking her neck. Worry coursed through the sleek manx's body, no wonder Aidan was a mess, she had heard twins often had a strange connection with each other, and more than likely she was about to experience a prime example of it.
"Aidan! I'm coming with you!" she yelled from behind him, sure that he probably already knew that much but she still had to voice it, at least to herself.

Aidan felt sick at the sight of it, and immediately collapsed a few feet away. Blood soaked through his leather, making darker stains on the black. An ear splitting cry raked through his brain and he found it hard to believe it was his own. The blood in the moonlight was scarlet, nothing movies could produce would be able to duplicate the true color of fresh blood spilled, and it was beautiful gleaming in the moonlight, just as the red head that crawled on his knees to his brothers still form. The sword cane lay at the side of a huge rock, just as it were a sacrificial table. Kieran was sprawled before the river showing no signs of life and much paler than should ever be possible. His brother found himself clutching the torso of his identical twin to his heart, willing it to beat for both of them, he checked his brothers pulse and found it weak and trembling before he cried out once more. All else in the world was still, for his only companion was the dying cat sprawled into his lap like a baby would be. His hands stroked the still face, drawing lines of blood across the paleness but it was in an attempt to calm. It was then that Kieran’s eyes fluttered and looked at Aidan before falling shut once more. “I will get you home brother, and we will get through this… it’s me and you against the world remember? Please don’t leave me, please?”

Hikari rounded the corner just as Aidan let out his own scream. Her own voice drowned out by his. Her hands clasped over her mouth, jade eyes wide with fear. There was so much blood and he was so pale. "Aidan we need to get him out of here. He needs to see a medic!" she said frantically starting to shake terribly. This was almost too much, she wanted to scream out for help, but who the hell would hear here. If anyone were around they would already be headed in their direction as it were.
The little female boucing around on her feet, unsure of what to do, a million and one different options running through her head; fear, rage, hate, pain, sorrow, confusion, nausea. She didn't know which one to act upon, and she wish she knew.

Aidan vaguely heard the words of Hikari, all he could do was listen to his brother’s heart beat as though a life line. He sobbed while climbing onto shaky legs. His brother was so light in his arms, as though he weighed nothing Aidan forced himself to relearn how to walk. It was a tedious task while he wished more than anything he could close his eyes and make it go away. Aidan’s mind simply would not cooperate, he found himself next to Hikari, covered in the fuel of Kieran’s life. He looked at her with his eyes completely blank, his pupils overly dilated with the first signs of shock. His eyes flicked this way and that unsure of where to go, unsure of anything but the body in his arms. His movements and actions were stiff, as if he were a unoiled robot. Finally he looked back to Hikari, begging in some part of his mind that she would help, that she would make this go away.

Mirelle was on a training run, jogging her way though the forest along the edge of the river. She often switched up her routes from the plaza to the park. She ran along the river bank, eye's sweeping the darkness out of habit, she passed Kieran's top hat. "OK..." Then the smell hit her: Blood, everywhere. She skidded to a halt, eyes flicking over the scene. Aidan, holding Kieran, both soaked in blood, and a female...who...it wasn't important. Mir's brain quickly came to the conclusion that this was no the time for asking questions or panicking. Something had to be done. She addressed Aidan. "What would you have me do?"

Hikari stared at the tiny cat in front of them "Who the hell are you!? Oh ******** I don't care get out of the way!" she screeched ready to shove Mirelle out of her way. Who the hell did she think she was. This little thing asking to help, what help could she be?
Hikari tugged at Aidan, "Come on, we can go back to NyanMan's it's right around the corner from here. They can fix him up there!" she pleaded coming slightly to her senses. If Aidan didn't snap out of this stupor Kieran could possibly die within his arms. She couldn't bare for such a thing to happen. Kieran had children and a woman he loved!
She pleaded slightly to Kieran as well, praying him to hold on. "Kieran baby, we'll get you home and fixed up, I promise. Everything is going to be okay." she cried. Tears starting to pour down her cheeks. She wasn't close with Kieran but her feelings for Aidan made her sensitive towards Kieran as well.

Mir hissed at the female, her ears flat against her skull. How dare she! "What the hell?! Pardon me for wanting to help!" Everything in her was screaming to put the female in her place, but the rational side of her calmly knew that it was not the time. Gritting her teeth from retaliating further, she attempted to offer help again. "My name is Mirelle, Aidan is my superior and both Aidan and Kieran are my friends. So i have every goddamn right to help, thank you very much." She said, cold fury appearing in her voice in spite of herself. Well, so much for not retaliating... She had to work on her temper. "I can run ahead and warn them if you want."

As though the mention of the mansion awoke him from a trance, Aidan growled to himself. “Both of you shut the hell up! We can’t take him back there… too much has happened, and I will explain it all later... Let’s take him back to the plaza, when the medic sees me he will listen to both of you, now if you would stop bickering, I would love to save my brother from death, that is if you don’t mind shutting the ******** up. You will have to forgive me for I am not exactly myself at the moment…”He strode past the girls, trying his best not to bounce Kieran with his quick footfalls. “Mir would you please gather Kieran’s things and bring them back to the base.” He called over his shoulder and turned a corner hoping Hikari would be able to catch up relatively quickly in her heels. He desperately needed her now, and in some part of his brain he was glad it was her there for him. How could he allow that girl to get to him like this? He left her for god’s sake! And yet here he was holding his dying brother in his arms, and knew he could not tell Percy until Kieran was well once more.

Hikari gave Mir a dirty look before striding off after Aidan, her nub of a tail quivering with fury. But she'd pick her bone with her later, now was not the time to be worrying about beating the hell out of her.
She caught to him somber-toned once again. Kieran was so pale, almost like a ghost, completely unlike the healthy glow he had worn not so long ago. "Aidan I'm sorry..." was all she could muster for the time being. "Is there anything you need me to do?" she asked looking up to him with pleading eyes. She was scared, for both Aidan and Kieran, but she had to at least try to keep herself composed, for Aidan's sake.

Aidan merely looked at her and sighed deeply. “We need to get him to a medic, and then you can help me clean up… that’s all we can do for now.” Aidan rounded the corner in order to avoid the mansion, the last thing Percy needed was to see Kieran dying because of a petty fight. He was silent as they rounded yet another corner and found the barrier to his territory. A cat was turning the corner just as he did and nearly crashed into Aidan. It took him awhile to understand what he was looking at, but when he did he gave a sharp gasp. “Go get the medic please.” Aidan managed before looking back at Hikari. “She is welcome here; if I end up freaking out listen to her or Mirelle, but let no one by the old bookstore.” Aidan continued, somehow knowing that Hikari would be with him as thought they were connected by an invisible thread. He opened one of the abandoned shop doors and laid Kieran on the floor, before walking to a corner and breaking down once more.

Hikari kept up after Aidan, she could only nod at his request. She wasn't a healer and now she wished she had chosen to take such a path. But either way, anything she could do to help would be at least some assistance to Aidan and Kieran both.
Inside the bookstore she followed after Aidan wrapping her arms around him, quieting shushing him and rubbing his back. "Aidan, baby, everything is going to be okay. The medic will fix him and he'll just need to rest, that's all. It might be a lot of rest and keeping him in bed for some time, but still." she said trying to sound as reassuring as she could, but even she had a hard time believing her words. No, she had to hold strong and believe Kieran was going to be okay. She had to be strong for Aidan, if at least just that.

Aidan wanted to wrap his arms around Hikari in that moment, but found himself cautious about getting the blood on her. He desperately needed to get cleaned, he mumbled about a shower, and where they could find one. The medic came in at a run, and paled immediately upon seeing Aidan in the corner and then Kieran on the floor. He had never seen Aidan’s brother, and was shocked by the resemblance, for a moment he stood there and looked around him. “I need everyone out.”
Aidan simply took Hikari’s hand in his own and lead her away further into the empty store, how ironic that this was exactly where Kieran had taken Percy on their first date. “I need to find somewhere to wash, do you mind coming with me? I really do not want to be alone at the moment.”
