SO who else thought this was going to happen until the 6th book came out and JKR 'reigned in' her characters (coughchangedthemintosuescough) and forced that gross attempt at romance into the series.

I was a huge supporter of the Harry/Hermoine shipping. But then I found out that she liked Ron, I was a little disappointed.

I was far more than a little disappointed...I was downright confused on how anyone with her personality could even fathom liking Ron..I mean he is her opposite to an extreme. In literary terms he was like her Foil and it just didn't make sense to me at all.

Guess Rowling was going for the "They who fights a lot, really care for each other" scenerio with Hermonie/Ron
I...honestly saw that one coming before book 6. I kinda like the main hero can't always get the main heroine with the books, but hey, I'm okay with H/Hr , I can see it working too.

I never really liked the "Smart girl settling for dumb guy" thing. Hermione is a great character and deserves someone a little more mature and less dramatastic than Ron. I really like her and Harry's friendship over time and think they would have made a better couple.

I've always thought that H/Hr was going to be what happened and then it surprised me when R/Hr happened. Though I love R/Hr. I am also a fan of H/Hr. They just have such good chemistry. The more I read the books and watch the movies I still see that clear chemistry between them. They are one of the ships I enjoy reading about in the Fanfiction world.

i wasnt expecting it to happen, well not at first, but i thought that it could be a possibility
it would have been cute perhaps after ron/hermione failed
ron was too...stupid for her intelligence, harry at least coudl be taught and he could read people at least somewhat
he was more aware of hermione
harry deserved her more

I'm one of those people that actually likes Ginny/Harry. I have since the second book.
Harry and Hermione, to me, just seem like best friends.
