(( This is a private RP thread for the moment, between Laniger, Ursa, and Spina. If you'd like to join in, though, just PM or AIM! heart ))
It seemed a den indeed, without furnishings save animal pelts, the barest necessities scattered carelessly about the stone floor.
The elder hadn't spoken since Ursa had followed him here, had looked everywhere but her direction. For the moment, he passionately wished the cub had left, followed her pride back to her false Court, so he could trap and kill the uncontrollable ache she brought forth in him. Instead, he could only rage inwardly against it as it surged, threatened to overwhelm. Perhaps he had gone mad in his slumber, he scowled. Choosing a far corner to sit, he shrugged off his bow and quiver.

Ursa smiled, but felt slightly wary of the long silence. Sliding in cheerfully, she glanced around, wall to wall, place to place, right down to ornaments and detail. Examining the room greatly, before passing her honest judgement onto Laniger - (whether he liked it or not).
He was fortunate.
"Nice place you've got here. Its very... er... Out here." She mentioned, quite slurrily, before slopping over a few paces, and standing just about him - whether he liked it or not. "Do you have any parchment and ink?" She asked sweetly, and kindly. "Please? I'd like to write..."
The crave, the desperation of not having written something for so long had kicked in. She just HAD to, it was starting to eat her from the inside out. Scratching heavily at her forehead - SHE hoped and prayed he had some lying around somewhere.
There was no telling what sort of Ursa would be proven once without her nesicities.
Sweat trickled down onto her skin, a flustered Ursa began to kick in to her. Her hands trembled outward, and she repeated herself slowly, quietly, mumbling it amongst herself. "Parchment. Ink. Please."

The elder arched an eyebrow, letting the silence live a few moments longer.
"There is none." he husked at last, voice still cold as the stone the bear Fey paced over.

Ursa grunted heavily, expression growing blank, face growing paler. "Please." She begged, almost in tears. "You have no idea how much I NEED it.. Please... Some.." She brought her fingers out, and imagined parchment within her grasp.
She could smell it. She could feel it.
The wonderous texture in which she absorbed upon her fingertips, the ink sitting neatly on her desk, ready as ever.
She howled in pain.

Bizarre as the cub's display was, what the ram found madder still was his ready reply.
"There are feathers unfletched over there, if you need a quill so badly. And tanned hides in place of paper."
He caught himself at last, faint smile curving beneath his beard. "I suppose you can use blood for ink if you must."

Ursa hurried herself with collecting all the things he had mentioning, jumbling and gathering them all up in her lap. She crawled hopelessly to a corner of the den, and sat aimlessly, pulling the sheaths of tanned hides out in front of her, whipping out the feather from underneath.
She shuddered.
Blood.
No.
She wasen't going to go that far. With a shake of her head, she smiled. "I'm not going to go THAT far. I'm sure... If you had something I could make use of in here..." She wondered slightly, raising an eyebrow about.
Ursa blinked. "If you had a bowl, and a spoon of some sort, berries or something would do. I could crush down the berries and use the juices left as my ink."

The elder waved a hand toward a wooden water dish on the floor. "Berries are somewhere outside."

It had been countless day ands nights, but she was there, Spina was crouched down beside a small stream. Her face remained expressionless as her cold eyes stared into the water. Slowly but surely the riddle began to unravel itself in her mind, small peices of it slowly starting to string together. Her lips curled into a twisted grin as she stood up.
Yes, it was about time she paid the old man a visit. After waiting in here, this horrid place so full of life. Without giving a second thought she carefully made her way towards his pathetic den, the one place she had meant to stay away from.

Ursa nodded in response, before pushing the sheaths and feather aside, standing up quickly, she twsisted and slipped out the den. "I won't be long Lan." Her sweet tone was convincing.
Surveying the area keenly, she darted her eyes about. The berry bushes were probably close to the stream, so that was the first place she'd check. Flicking her hair back from her eyes, she paced hurridly for the area.
Lifting her feet in loud stomps, she half groaned in pain on each strike; she was so very fed up of walking. Her wary eyes fell over some close bushes, close they were, but so far away they seemed to her physical status, and her damned feet.
"Gragh!" She yelped out.

The trees rustled as Spina pushed her way threw, there was no path but she countinued as if she had walked the same way many times before. Her steps were quiet and swift, yet her expression remained unchaged. "Laniger..." she siad with a grin as if he could hear her, her voice seemed calm but was filled with hate.
She stopped and looked towards the bushes that were still quite far away. Someone else was there. She grinned her eyes locked in the direction she had heard the yelp. "Riddles never lie..." she whispered to herself before quietly making her way forward. She needed to find out who else was there, question them before making any foolish actions.

Ursa approached the bushes slyly, gazing around with certain intent. Slipping just toward the bushes, she reached out her hand to pick some of the fine red berries which hung beautifully in contrast against the emerald green. Her hand stopped in its path, and she jerked to the side somewhat.
The rustles aside her were daunting, sinister. Raising an eyebrow, she soon tucked herself neatly behind the berry bush. Maybe her mind was playing games again? But she wasen't going to take the chance, they were so far out, for all she knew, they could've been in Moon Court teritory, she decided it best to keep her guard up at max.
Whispering to herself fluently, she peeked out between branches, making holes in the leaves before her. They rustled in her path, and she couldn't help but cringe when the noise got too much for her.
Someones presence was daunting still.
Warding closer.
Ursa froze.

A grin streched across her face as she went forward, her icey blue eyes stuck on the bushes ahead. She stopped letting her body be hide in the shadows. It was the one thing she had liked about the being stuck in such a area, everything seemed to be on her side, the trees, rocks, even the water. Her body slowly disappeared into the shadows, as she countinued, getting closer with each passing second.
Spina stopped, she was barely a foot away from the bush, her eyes glaring down on it as she stood there, slowly she stepped out out the shadows that had hidden her so well. Her body now visible to the one hiding behind the bush. "What do we have here?" she asked with grin.

Ursa gulped down raw in a panic. Her eyes boggled, and her mind raced. Who was she? Gazing at her torso for a few seconds, she slipped back from out the bushes. She breathed heavily, sweat trickling down onto the tip of her nose. Her temples creased greatly at places. And her ears stung painfully.
Ursa barked, sliding back a bit on her knees. She crawled lazily behind a nearby tree, mud darkening her knees and clothes in a grungy, filthy stain. The bear Fey gasped heavily, her heart racing.
"Who are you?" Her eyes flung back warily, her back firmly pressed against the tree.
"Are you part of the Moon Court?!" Ursa asked, with certain caution, more than ready to make a run for it back to Laniger.

Spina laughed and stepped closer, making her way past the bush the bear fae had just crawled away from. She moved closer, till she could see the cub perfectly. "Moon Court?" she let out a soft chuckle. "I have no court." she siad bitterly, though she countinued to smirk. She watched the woman in amusement, the girl's fear seemed to be feeding her, only making the twisted grin on her face bigger.

Ursa remained in her place, disrupted from moving by her words. She looked up warily, and blinked harshly. "Like Laniger?" She whispered at her. "Are you a wanderer too?" She asked slowly. "Like Laniger?" Her eyes travelled to the stream, admiring the glittering blue which glimmered back at her.
"Huh..." It puzzled her, all this 'no court' buisness. Were there more members of this wandering, against the courts cult? Or were both Laniger and Spina members of a rare cult?
