I totally agree. Luna was strange, but she and Harry made a good couple smile .

I really like this pairing a lot and the movies have shown so much more Harry/Luna incidents then with Ginny.

While I like Neville/Luna better, Harry and Luna do make an adorable couple. They have so many great moments: seeing the thestrals, him taking her to the Slug Club dinner, her finding him and fixing his nose in the movie, etc. Much better than Harry/Ginny.

I would've much rather have seen Harry get with Luna rather than Ginny, mainly because I'm partial to Neville/Ginny. Luna was crazy, but she seemed to get along really well with Harry.

I thought that that's where Rowling was going with it for awhile. Like when Harry and Cho were under the mistletoe and he referenced something Luna had told him. I thought that they seemed to click when they met. The thestrals and tragedy early on in their life. Both are kind of alienated from general society...
I was so hoping for Harry/Luna cry
Harry/Ginny is just too... I don't know... let's allow Ginny her happy ending without actually thinking of other character interactions? I don't know...

i think they're a great pairing. especially the parts in the order of the phoenix when's she's so understanding of him with the thestrals and seeing death.

I definately prefer it to HPGW.
I mean, she just seems to understand him so well. She's more of a char than Ginny, to boot. Luna=Win.

I thought Ginny and Harry should have gotten together. It would have been cute. I nearly squealed when Harry asked Luna to Slughorn's party. But, I do like Ginny with Harry too. And I love Luna with Neville.
