It had been a couple days since Ashia had been feeling restless, her belly already showing the form of a pregnant look. She was eating more then she normally did and couldn't stand to sleep laying down anymore. Shaking her head, Ashia had sent Runner out with a small jeweled sprig to find her parents. After coaching the young reptile, though it still was a little absent minded at times and would start doing other things. She thought it was time to test her. Pacing the small clearing away from the main section of her herd, she waited to see if Runner could bring her parents. Also she had to wonder where Wystan had wandered off to, perhaps to tell his own parents of what was to come? She couldn't be sure. Looking to the skies over head, the sun hung high, shinning down upon her many colored scales, warming her back before she moved to pace in the shade of looming branches. She was getting more antsy, nervous and it was wearing her down. Yawning, Ashia leaned against the tree she was under and closed her eyes, but just for a moment...

((Please pretend Iris hasn't got Spiffy yet. I haven't decided whether Iris finds her in a solo RP, or while travelling away from Enfys. ^^" I'm leaning towards the former.))It was Iris who approached her daughter first - the little message shown by Runner had intrigued her, and the Norora had been quick to point her in the right direction. Good lizard. Clever lizard. " Ash~ia!" She called softly as she approached, pretty sure the younger mare hadn't called on her dam to watch her take a nap. " Did you summon me?" From the look of her precious daughter's belly, Iris could pretty much tell what the news was, but would rather her daughter broke it to her. Besides, there was something else she needed to be filled in on: Who was the father?

Ashia hadn't drifted off for long before her ears twitched at the approaching sounds of someone else. Eyes fluttering opened, she looked around before her mother approached from the shadows. The dark mare's coat did manage to make her blend into the shadows quite well. Yawning, when she heard her mother's voice carried itself to her ears. She had summoned her mother for a reason, though she was hoping her father was going to be there as well. Frowning a little, Ashia drew herself up, though she might have been still a little smaller then her mother, but like an inch... Maybe less then that.
"Yes mother." She smiled, though had a feeling that she already knew the reason. Glancing around, she was looking for Wystan, but the stallion was still no where to be seen. "I was hoping Father might be with you, is he well?" She asked as she noticed that Runner came back soon after her mother had still holding the jeweled sprig.
Runner glanced up at Ashia before she dropped the sprig and leaped off towards something small in the grass. It seemed to be meal time, Ashia watched the Norora dash off after something in the tall grass on the fringes of the clearing. Shaking her head, Ashia sighed shifting her stance as the current one was getting uncomfortable.
"Mother... I know I'm still young, inexperienced in all this but." She glanced to her mother's face. She was happy to be a mother to her coming little ones, but also scared. "I'm Pregnant, though I suppose that's quite obvious." A small giggle coming from deep within her throat. "The father is my close foal hood friend, Wystan. He... Is also my mate"

The little quetzil ran before Wystan, darting in zig-zags on all fours. He reached Ashia before Wystan even came into sight the little fur tailed lizard darting around her legs. The small fur tailed lizard had a daisy in its mouth. Soon Wystan came into view, he too had a flower between his teeth. It had taken him a while to find the perfect one which was suited for his mate, a large purple Iris. Passing Ashia's mother he trotted up to Ashia and nuzzled her neck with the side of his face affectionately before offering her his flower.
((lol the Quetzil took some of Wystan's Traits XD ))

((Excuse Enfys' absence. He's starting on his schizo plot, so he will absent himself from Nomads RPs until further notice. When he comes back, he will definitely give all his kids and grandkids, as well as his beloved mate, the equivalent of a bear hug and other signs of deep affection. <3))

((Aight. <3))
Iris neatly ignored the question on Enfys's whereabouts. First of all, being lifemated didn't mean she had to keep track of everywhere her stallion went. Second, both of them enjoyed their own freedom very much - and if Enfys was going to respect her space, she would respect his, as long as he didn't violate the vow they had taken. Third... she didn't really want to introduce this idea to Wystan, who, according to what was passing before her eyes, was showering her daughter with attention.
Surely Ashia deserved to be pampered for as long as both of them could take it!
"More foals in the family... and me as a grandmother! This is happy news." The rainbow mare flicked her tail happily. "Um. Wow. It's been so long since I carried the five of you as eggs... I don't have a lot of advice to give, but I'd say: eat well, stay out of the sun unless you're drinking lots, and don't push yourself too far.
And I take it you're the father?" She asked Wystan, eyeing him with approval - both because of the flower and his appearance. Those appendages on his back were certainly unusual, and so was the mane and tail - but there was enough colour on him to be striking.

[[ No worries Elfy. ^^ ]]
Ashia looked away from her mother as she noticed Wystan's little friend come bounding out of the bushes holding a flower within his mouth, soon followed by Wystan carrying yet a flower of his own. Biting back a small giggle she smiled at her mate as he came closer and nuzzled against her. Nuzzling back she looked at the flower he carried in question before glancing back to her mother whom was still speaking to her while she had been a little distracted.
"I will try Mom." She smiled, stepping away from Wystan for a moment to nuzzle against her mother as she had months past when she was just a foal. Really, she still felt like a foal at heart, as she tried bounding back over toward Wystan, though couldn't quite get it with her belly as big as it was, and just settled with walking. "I don't think Wystan would let me over do anything, right?" She looked back to her mate as if he could answer with the flower in his mouth.

Wystan gave a small grin and then nodded. Stretching his head he placed the flower behind Ashia's ear. With his mouth free he finally spoke. "That I am," At that point Wystan's little companion Bernard scurried over to Iris and stood himself up on his hind legs, with his little fingers he took the daisy out of his mouth and offered it to the rainbow mare, reaching his little body up as high as it could go. Wystan chuckled lightly. "I think he has taken a liking to you." his small grin turned into a small smile. "That is right my love," he nuzzled her neck once again. "I won't let you over do anything, nor will I let any harm come to you or our young."

Iris bent down and allowed the Quetzil to tuck the flower into her mane - it raised itself up so far, she was quite worried it would lose its balance and topple over!
"You've trained him really well!" She exclaimed, heartened by the affection between her daughter and this stallion. They were nothing like her and Enfys, though. With Iris and Enfys it was always fun and games - these two had something more heavily romantic going on.
"So... Are the two of you planning to get lifemated?" Asked the rainbow mare cheekily, wondering if she could catch the stallion off-guard.
