I looked at him sarcastically, he was really rather annoying. "I only need ONE person in my life and that's me thank you very much. You can go away now" I turned and walked off before he could say a word.

God she's a b***h Lantz thought as he stood there watching her walk away. She does have a cute little butt though. He caught up with her briefly "Well what's wrong with having another person in your life? TWO is..." Lantz looked off thoughtfully, "well I can't rhyme that but two means your life isn't as lonely" a playful smirk played on his lips as he studied the woman.

He won't leave me alone will he? "I have a meeting at THREE so maybe you can, I dunno, get lost" I tried to put it as blunt and rude as possible. Okay, maybe it's not like a business meeting or anything but meeting your friends is a meeting nonetheless.

"Okay, okay whatever" Lantz put up his hands in surrender and walked off since there was no point in saying goodbye. Talk about some roommate Lantz thought. She just moved in FOUR days ago and I barely know her still. She's so cute though... he heaved a sigh as Avenged Sevenfold's Trashed and Scattered played in his pocket.

My posture loosened as he walked off. Why does he insists on knowing me when we're just roommates? A vibration motioned in my back pocket and by reflex (like everyone else with a cell phone) my hand grabbed it and opened my cell swiftly.

I shook my head and fingers flew over the keypad clearly NOT using chat speak.

"Hey Lantz bro! How'd it go?"
"She's a b***h, what can I say man?"
"Aww dude that blows, hey why don't you come to a party I'm having at my house?"
"That sounds awesome, who'll be there?"
"All the hot chicks, you know that!"
"With you're taste, I can't be too sure of that"
"Man whatever, Ashley, Laura, Mina, Travis, Spence, Britt... yea so far those SIX are sure to be there"

Cold air blasted through my hair as I walked into the restaurant. Or shall I say fast food restaurant?
"Hey Rose over here!"
Raven was waving enthusiastically as she stood in front of the register motioning for me to stand by her.
"So what's for lunch little peppy one?"
"Oh shush you," she turned around as she twirled a lock of hair around her finger, "um I'd like a number SEVEN"
"Is that a meal?"
"Yes it would be" Raven giggled as she batted her eyes. God this girl was flirtatious.
"Drink then?"
"Sprite"
"And what would you like to order?" even though he was addressing me he kept eye contact with Raven.
I sighed and stepped forward "Well how about a mandarin salad?"

Someone honked at Lantz as he walked by. With an annoyed face he turned to see who it was. Mina was sitting behind the wheel of her Ford Explorer grinning at him "It's about time you know!"
"What do you mean?"
"I called your name like EIGHT times but you were busy talking to that chick"
Lantz clenched his teeth, Of all the people in the world Mina had to see that? "Yeah my bitchy roommate, I had to tell her something but like I said, she's a b***h"
Mina shrugged nonchalantly "Try to do what you try to do"
"What?" What the hell does that mean?
"Nothin, jump in stranger. We got a party to get to"

Raven giggled as we headed over to a table in the corner "I wonder if he's taken?" she looked at me with hopeful eyes.
Silence is golden... I tried opening the lid to my salad but I've always had problems with those kinds of things.
"Do you think he'd come to that party?"
"What party?" the plastic scraped against my skin. I tried opening it again with a frustrated sigh.
"The one at Terry street. Like, NINE people have texted me already asking if I was going"
The lid finally popped off "Raven, I moved here four days ago. I won't know anyone there-"
"Exactly! You need to broaden you're emo horizons-"
"I am not emo"
she went on ignoring my interruption "-and you need to meet new people!"
"But I won't know anyone there" I gave her a steady hard glare. I've known Raven since middle school, what makes her think she can change me now?
"But you'll know me. C'mon Rose, you gotta loosen up! Know the natives!"
"Whatever"
"Thatagirl!" she patted my hand and took a bite from her chicken sandwich "so after this we'll head to my place and dress up!"
Which was worse, going to a party I didn't agree to or having that roommate stalk me?

Mina pulled into a decent looking house, "Andrew asked if we could help him set up. He should get off in about TEN minutes or something. He had to cover someone else's shift"
Lantz nodded as he got out "I got the spare keys. What kind of party is he looking for?"
Mina smiled that cute smile of her's "You know: beer, pool, guitar hero, wii, pool"
"You already said that"
"I mean the watery one dumb a**" she chuckled and walked toward the door.
Lord knows I have a better chance with Mina than Rose. Mina is just more cute though, that Rose chick on the other hand is HOT

"So did you get his number?" I asked Raven as she texted non-stop. I pushed open the door to reveal a pig pen (not literally but this girl is way unorganized)
"Yea! And guess what, he's actually the person who's having the party we're gonna go to!" she expertly maneuvered between all the things on the floor while I had more difficulty.
"So how are we gonna dress for this if most of your clothes is on the floor?" I looked at her skeptically.
"Oh I keep all the good clothes in the closet" she opened the sliding doors to reveal (amazingly) organized clothes on their hangers and a pile of shoes.
I sat on her bed sighing "What do you have, like, fifty shoes or something?"
"No~" Raven stuck her tongue at me "I have ELEVEN pairs to be exact. Now let's start dressing!"

"Well, her friend Raven is dragging her to the party too so she'll be there!"
"What!?" his eyes widened and Mina glanced at him looking stupid.
"Yea man! Hey, I bought like six TWELVE packs so we're gonna have a good time tonight!"
"Dude Andrew!"
"Ey I'm almost there, I'll see ya!"
Sheesh, just when I thought I could settle for Mina...

Karunoshi (Heehee thanks! I'm pretty much going along with whatever is happening. Plus as you can tell I'm trying to use each bump number as a part of the story which makes it a challenge and pretty much can change the story line. For example, I never even planned him to even see Mina xD ) Yes, I noticed it right away. It's a neat idea.
