It's warm. Not unpleasantly so. It's just a warm, still, lazy-feeling summer's day, somewhere between the true heat of midsummer and the promising chill of autumn. Peyote can be found under a big fat bee hive, thin stick in hand, a jar shaped by Autumn's Joy in her hands. The elfess is moving slowly toward the hive, ignoring the buzzing stinging bees about her, that land on her, then take off again with the tickle of feet and wings.

Creek headed to the pool hoping for a solo swim and some time away from the overwhelming pull of the vast deep. His powers were controlled, but the vast deep seemed to be breaking that control the londer her spent near it. The pool, he hoped, would help with that as well. It wasn't until he broke through the trees that he saw his new soulmate, maybe more, near a tree. All he could see was her holdng a jar and a stick, and smaller thing flying around her. "What are you doing?" he asked, straight forward and in as few words as possible.

"Gathering beesweets," Peyote replied, bright and bubbly and pleased as could be, but in the unhurried tones of someone concentrating. "Don't move fast, and don't crush any. They'll all get very mad and sting everything if you do," she warning in the same happy tones. Approaching the hive, she very gingerly touched the stick to one of the sides and rocked it back and forth over and over, leaning the stick into the hive wall with a gentle but steady pressure. When the stick slipped in, she withdrew it partially and held the jar beneath the hole, letting the golden necter ooze inside.

Creek had no intention of moving at all, except further away and closer to the pool. He had run into the same creatures buzzing around Peyote now, although he called them stingers. Either way, he knew the sweet nectar from their home was delicious, and their stings hurt as bad as a rock from his childhood slingshot. "I'll wait over here," he said, only once he was safely next to the pool. The only good thing he remembered from that experience was that stigners hated water.

"Okay," Peyote replied pleasantly.

When she'd collected all the hive would give up from that hole and the bees were starting to make repairs, she backed away slowly. Once clear of the nest, she made her way to the pool and set the jar in the shade, only to slide into the water, dress and all, to dislodge any tag alongs.

In the water, she moved to the plainsrunner, smiling. "So, still waiting for me?"

Creek grinned and leaned down to give Peyote a quick peck on the cheek. "I'll always be waiting for you," he whispered, his lips still closer to her cheek. "Its worth it. You're much sweeter than beesweets," he gave her another peck. Thats Creek, always the romantic.

He slid further into the water, signaling for Peyote to join him as he slipped his worn shirt from over his head and tossed it back on shore.

Peyote couldn't help but giggle, moving to slip out of her soaking dress. "So are you," she cooed back, than laughed. "This is so weird!"

"New," Creek smiled. "Wierd," he reached out to pull Peyote closer. "But nice," he laughed too.

"Very," she replied, tosses her dress, one drowned bee stuck to it, to the edge of the waterfall pool before moving into his arms. "That we had to lose everything to find everything, huh? Well, that's just how the High Ones work, I suppose!"

Creek shook his head, "We didn't lose everything," he replied, wrapping his arms around her. "Some things have just been temporarily misplaced," he kissed her on the top of her head, "and new things have been found."

Floating in on a breeze, Savith drifted down toward the pool as Creekrunner wrapped his arms about his mate's form. The glider's eye grew slightly more narrow even as a faint grin tugged at the corners of his lips. "Clear skies," he stated simply, feet daring to touch down on the rocks nearby in the shade.

"And to you too, Glider," Creek replied, but didn't bother to look up at the glider. He kept his gaze on his soulmate, not truly concerned that Savith was now present.

Peyote, however, did look up at the glider, smiling brightly even as she remained draped about the plainsrunner. "Shade," she sing-songs to Savith. "Cause we've already got sweet water," she adds with a giggle, dropping her gaze to nuzzle her mate's cheek. "Right?"

Savith smirks as Peyote's attention turns to her mate while he drops further to settle on the rock properly. Turning his attention from the happy couple, the glider reaches in to scoop some water from the pool with his hands to wash his face.

Creek leaned closer to Peyote, giving her a quick kiss on the side of her neck, "I have the sweetest thing in all the stars." He again didn't care that Savith was present, or that Peyote seemed to make him talk more than he was used to- he just always had something to say to her.
