Hello. :3

Well, we all know the story. I’m looking for one (or more) 1x1 RP here on Gaia. I have a few ideas that I’d like to try out. Forgive the lack of sparckle in this thread. It doesn’t really seem to be important in my search, thus I won’t spend too much time on that for now (if any). I shall begin by telling you a little bit about myself, and go from there. Shall we?

I am nineteen twenty years old. Holy crap, saying that on Gaia makes me feel old. Oh well. I’m not new to gaia and this is not my first account here. I am also not new to RPing and have been doing so sense before I came onto Gaia. I really enjoy writing, which is why I enjoy a good role play so much. I have countless (original) characters at my disposal, though I usually come up with brand new ones for every RP anyway. I have no problem with making new ones, at all. :3 It’s something that I find to be particularly fun. In terms of literacy, I’m not exactly sure where I stand according to Gaia’s standards. But know I can write anywhere from two paragraphs to four pages, depending on how good of replies I get and how many characters I'm writing for. I re-read my posts before sending them at least once, and try to spell everything correctly, as well as write in an interesting way. I just ask that you at least try and pay me the same respect.

When it comes to what I will RP, I do plan on making a list. But I’ll be adding to it slowly because I just know I’ll forget something the first time I write it. Generally, I may RP fandoms, depending on what they are. There are some movies/animes/books (ect.) that I really do love. I love original stories. They are…amazing in so many ways. As for genres, it just depends on other factors, really. I’m finding it hard to really narrow what I like and don’t like into this little paragraph.

I usually play female characters, but I’m more than capable of playing male characters if asked. I’ve done het and yaoi, but I’ve never done yuri. I’m of the opinion that there is a first (and second…and third…) time for everything. So, just suggest something to me, or ask about some of the plots I will have written and just see what I say! Suggest your own plot, as well, if you have one in mind. I’m not guaranteed to like any certain idea, but I do promise that I’ll at least hear it out. :3

I’m very surprised that I just used an emote for the first time in this thread (except for the "Hello. :3" thing, of course). I mean…just to warn you. While talking OOC, I abuse emotes like no other. I'm pretty sure it should be a crime. Speaking of which, I am one of those writers who requires some sort of chatting OOC with an RP partner. I start to get bored, as well as I start to think YOU'RE getting bored by not talking to me. So please, talk to me and plot with me. It's half the fun.

Oh! And I prefer long-term RPs. In fact, I require it. Anything less, I find to be really annoying. Don’t just leave me, either. What will I do about it? Well, it’s not like I can force you to continue. However, it’s very rude. So just tell me if you’d like to quit and I will leave you alone (or we can figure out a way to make it better for you as well. Which ever you prefer). I can't say how often I would like for you to reply because I know everyone is busy and some of you might even have a life. However, I'm sure you know your usual pattern in responding. If you find that you'll take longer than usual, just PM me so I don't think you left. I'd really appreciate it! If I'm really interested in the RP, on the other hand, I'm usually capable of posting once every night (if asked! I won't go over board, if you ask me to slow down a bit).

Don't worry if you're taking a little longer, though. I understand that they take time, and would rather see a good post once a week rather than five OK but rushed ones a week. I understand that everyone goes at their own place, like I said. ^^

Oh. And I don't RP over IM. Ever. I prefer private threads, but I'm willing to RP over PMs.

I love creating my own plots. However, I hate having to do it all by myself when I'm plotting for an RP. It's just not as fun. All of these ideas I have are just starters, and aren't really too fleshed out or detailed. That's where you (...or we?) come in. We can work on them together, or do them as is (if that's possible). It's fine with me. Be warned, though. I will end up going plot crazy sooner or later. Might as well get it over with at the start, right?

...though, I doubt that my plotting craziness will ever go away. : D

Just so you all know, if you aren't willing to plot with me, I will probably get bored with the RP, or decline to even start one. Don't just be like "Let's do a vampire RP." and expect that to be enough for me to start with. It's not gonna happen. I like plots, and I like depth. :3

The Girl and the Assassin
There is a girl with a strange ability. This ability (whatever it may be) would be useful to a kingdom/tribe/ect/ during times of war. One King wants to use that power, so he orders his men to hunt her down and bring her to him. A second King knows that the power, however useful, is too dangerous for anyone to control. They can't trust that the girl will make the right decision or get away from the other king, so the Good King sends one of his best archers to assassinate the girl. The archer finds the girl, but has trouble killing her (for whatever reason). He ends up saving her from the Bad King's men, but then battles with himself whether or not he should follow his orders. Kill the girl, whose innocence makes her a difficult kill, or disobey orders and be punished for it.


Hawksong
For anyone who's interested in doing a Hawksong RP, I'd love you. I'd like to play a role reversal with a Hawk Prince and a Snake Sari (a word I made up to mean princess, sense the book doesn't give one). It would also be cool to give it a modern day twist, but this is not required. Anyway, aside from that, just going through and RP that is inspired by the events of the book would be great. Though, I wouldn't want the RP to be like the book word for word. That kind of takes the fun out of RPing it, doesn't it?

Untitled
This one I came up with pretty much on the fly, so it doesn't have a name. It's not super-amazingly-awesome original or anything, but I'd like to RP it more for the atmosphere than the "original"ness of it. I'd basically like to RP a gang/mafia related RP. For anyone who's seen a little bit of the anime "Gungrave", I'd like for it to have that same dark mood to it. And, though I REALLY don't want this to be the focal point, I think having some of the character being vampires would be interesting. However, like I said, I'm not looking for this to be a vampire RP. They just get thrown in for shits and giggles.





Yori:
Yori is a twenty something year old female. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and has burn scars across her right shoulder. She's strong willed, very stubborn, and very jaded. She's also a mother/pregnant (depending on when the RP takes place...). The father of her child is dead. He ended up betraying her, but then sacraficed his life for hers in the end. Because of this, she doesn't hate him.
She used to be a very innocent and foolish little girl, but has sense learned that life isn't all butterflies and butter cups. Because of her past, Yori finds it hard to trust people, especially men. It's unlikely that she'll let anyone even hold her infant son. She avoids romantic feelings like the black plague.
