Holy fried beans on a stick... I can't believe there's no topic on this here yet!
There's going to be a TMNT 25th anniversary special that's going to premiere at the San Diego Comic Con later this month, and is presumed to air on CW4Kids in September. It will also be on DVD sometime around there. It's a massive awesome crossover. What is it a crossover of, you ask?
How about the 1987 toon with the 2003 toon?

There's some previews over at the Back to the Sewer blog on 4kids.tv. Some of them are purposely "glitched out" as a teaser, but it's quite obvious to see who's who.

Wha-bam with a red x symbol, S....
Mystic and I discussed it. To be honest, it sounded rather dumb to me, and full of idiocy. The envelope gets pushed too far (any ability to take the program seriously, funny or no....) and it just seems...feeble.
She has greater faith in it that I do.

Well, S, after a little discussion with Mystic....I feel you're correct about this crossover being the 'big' thing for TMNT this year, and nobody seems to have noticed, so....your thread has been temporarily moved and Stickied, hopefully to encourage a little conversation.

EDIT: DVD release info as much as Mystic can figure:
Apprently there is no date for a DVD release because they don't have a distributor--Funimation dropped the TMNT. It'll air sometime in November after the top ten episode countdown.
More to be updated as soon as I can get the information.

I can't wait for this.
I'm celebratin by having a TMNT marathon before it premiers. Doubly epic since I have pizza and my Bday is coming up xD
Man, I can't wait for Raph's reaction. Lol. I love both shows but old toon Raph is an embarrassment to the character. I bet Mikey is so going to rag on him. xD

I like how they made their eyes white even know it the btts series also there is a pre-view on 4kids.tv.I think this might be good!Also I think its the end of the btts series because of time when that virus shows them the future and they have to battle the three shedders.That's my guess.Call me wrong,call me wrong.
