Okay for those of you who don't know Rose is coming back in the Last 10th Doctor Episode but its not the Present day Rose the Doctor is on the verge of Regenerating and so he goes back to New Years eve 2005 and meets her as she is walking home from a party. Asks her about what year which she responses "its 2005 mate" He responds "Good, It will be a good year" then staggers off again. Personally I don't mind Rose being there before his regeneration but I am sort of Sick of Rose being in the series even when shes not.

During series 3 All he talks about is Rose in almost every episode there is some mention of Rose. Then Series 4 there is mention and She returns It is starting to get annoying. Like Russel come on, There are many different companions you could go back and touch on. Like Ace, Grace, Leela, and may others. But the fact that Only Rose is the one you keep using is getting annoying. He is beating a dead horse.

I can only hope with the 11th Doctor and Steve Moffet as head writer we lose some of this Rose talk. Like maybe Mention Rose once or twice over the course of maybe 3 episodes. Let Matt Smith's Doctor get out of the Rose Shadow and let him stand on his own as the Last of the Time lords.

Who agrees with me ?

PS Here are the pictures to Prove shes coming back in the final episode.

Oddly enough, I don't mind too much. That was the tenth doctor's "thing" he "loved" Rose. Each doctor has a thing and the doctor keeps getting more and more romantic so the more I think about it, the more I feel it's believable.

I understand that but Honestly I am sort of tired of her. She was an ok companion but personally I like Martha and Donna more then Her. I found Rose to Winnie. She got all offended when she realized she wasn't the first to travel with The Doctor. Also when he said he was a grandfather. WHY IS THIS SUCH A SHOCK? He is 900 years old (Probably older but they say he's 900 right now) So I can safely say that although I did like Rose Ill be glad when she is finally written out at the end of the 10th Doctors run.

i agree with Thowell3. He is 'beating a dead horse' that would be kinda gross. ew i just pictured it..but im kinda glad she will be there for the regeneration

Well, it is a nice "Bookend." Often times in film the first ten minutes and the last ten minutes of a film reflect each other, some people refer to them as "Bookends." This regeneration started with Rose and will end with Rose.

Rose was one of the companions that we, the viewer were meant to sympathize with. Many people who have fallen in love can relate to what Rose felt for the Doctor who may or may not have felt the same way (he's a Timelord, this discussion is a who other thread). I actually feel that many people would act the same way Rose did in her situation, being scared in a new place, time, etc. as well as intrigued enough to come back looking for more.

If Rose is coming back... what about the bogus Doctor the real Doctor dumped off on her at the end of last season? Will he also show up to watch his other self regenerate?

Time paradox, the universe would cease to exist. And it wasn't bogus. Rose being trapped in another dimension doesn't erase her from the past.

Grr. I really did like Rose, but I was hoping that she wouldn't return...AGAIN. Oh well, at least it doesn't seem like she'll be terribly important in the specials. I guess now I'll just cross my fingers and hope for the best.

I meant bogus in the sense that the duplicate Tenth Doctor is a normal human, instead of a Time Lord. I missed the part where it was said the Doctor was visiting Rose from the past, rather than the current one stuck in the alt universe.

I hope this isn't going to be some lame riff off of "A Christmas Carol", where the Doctor does Christmas Past, Present, and Future.

At least it's just brief. Not another story about her that would have just been awful.

How 'bout a rip-off of "It's a Wonderful Life"?

He's been claiming around 900 for a few hundred years now, I'd imagine.

So probably more around 1000+ would be more accurate.

It's just that being something-hundred years old sounds nicer. xd

David Tennant introduced himself as being 925 in the Doctor Who special of The Weakest Link, but I think Nine said the 900 years thing to Rose because he didn't want to seem "old". xd
Evidently, The Doctor can be of any age, since he could (in theory, though it would be boring) travel to an unknown planet, spend a millenia there and travel to another unknown planet. Don't think he'd do that, but we don't know how much time passes between Eight and Nine.

I don't really think the age of a timelord is relevant to our time structure. It's a bunch of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff. Or how ever that quote goes.
