Pembe realized he couldn't hide anywhere. Not with his blue fur with bits of white and other shades of blue. His eyes stood out well. They were bright pink and seemed to shimmer in the sun light more then his siblings eyes. He moved away from his family as he was exploring a bit. It was quite easy. His two siblings were busy with each other while his mom was busy talking to his oldest sister about something. He figured about them. He lashed his tail as he moved slowly. His little hair fluff covering one of his eyes as he moved. It didn't matter how much he tried to move it out of his eye, it went right back there in the end.
He wanted someone to play with. He tried to play with his oldest sister once, but she pushed him away and got angry at him. Something about her hating males? He wasn't sure nor did he understand her rejection of him. He'd get her to warm up to him eventually. He was the cutest little boy ever!.

On the other hand Miw-Sher felt like she was always playing with her siblings. She felt like she was always at home, she felt like she was always doing something with her family, something with her father her father's mate or her grandmother, and of course her brother's and sisters. And after a while of getting the same siblings in trouble time after time she had to get out and do something. She smirked as she slunk away from her siblings when Sadiki settled to nap wit the others while her father wandered away to hunt.
And she wandered away to explore.
She slunk around boldly. She wasn't afraid of being caught. She walked with her chest out and her head up, stumbling once or twice out of cub like clumsiness. But she didn't let it stop her. She looked around a few times looking for some one to bother to pull into some kind of crazy adventure. She paused as she saw the perfect moment. She dashed off running as quickly as she could toward the other cub. "No don't move!" She squeaked out as she launched herself into the air, aiming to land on the other cub.

Pembe stopped right where he was. One paw up ready to take another step. He was afraid to look around to see who it was that told him to stop in case it was against the rules of this game. Everything was a game to Pembe. At least it made things more fun. Though, what he didn't know, was the other was heading his way.... and about to land on him. That was all not in his thought of mind right now. He figured it was one of his siblings, though it didn't sound like his younger sister. Nope, it didn't sound like his older sister either.
He still didn't look though as if he was frozen in one spot. Waiting for any other command that was given to him. He didn't even smile. His tail twitched, and well, who could really control their tail? After a few moments he fell from trying to stay still too long. "Oh darn!" he spat out as he was on the ground. Not realizing that perhaps it wasn't him who caused his fall, but the white, yellow, and purple lioness that was on on him.

Miw-Sher grinned at what the the other cub's reaction was. She lowered her head to the cubs ear and shifted her body weight some. "You have to be careful!" She hissed slightly, more of so she was trying to keep her voice to a whisper. She looked around a few times trying to figure out what she was going to come up with this time. "You have to be careful around here at this time of the day, you see the rock over there?" She pointed a purple toe toward a rock that was a little bigger than a normal sized cub. She was small for her age and the rock hard to be at least a few inches taller than her. "That's a cub eating rock, it eats adults some times too!" She squeaked.
She then rolled off of the other cub crouching low to the ground. "Come on, I'll take you to safety!" She nodded toward the cub before she got on her belly. "Do what I do and follow me." She nodded before she started to do a awkward like crawl, inching her way along going toward the rock's left. "They are afraid of water, there's a lake this way." She hissed as she continued to crawl toward the water with a look of determination on her face.

He looked at the rock, now realizing the white fluff thing was talking. It almost made him jump for a second. He almost forgot the whole reason he was on the ground. The voice he had heard. Now it was in his ears. "A.... Cub.... eating rock?" He looked at it suspiciously. How dare it eat cubs! He tried to wiggle away from it, but the other's weight kept him from crawling away easily. He made a tiny squeaking noise. He totally was convinced it was real and would eat them.
"Can we kill it?" He asked her as she said she'd take him to safety. Wasn't he suppose to protect her? He was the boy after all, but he was quite a pansy when it came to things that could eat him. He nodded to her. He watched her careflly as she rolled on her tummy and started to crawl weirdly. Could he do that? He tried, it didn't look exact but he was doing it."Water...." He gulped.... He was afraid of water too. It was scary... and wet, and ewwie... but if it saved him..... He continued to follow her.

Miw looked at the male and nodded. "Yes, a cub eatting rock! Come on now! Haven't you heard of them! It's basic cub knowledge 101!" She puffed out her chest the best she could from the position she was in. "No we can't kill it!" She hissed kind of annoyed, she hadn't yet looked back at him. "We can only run from it!" She crawled a little fast before she quickly stood up on all fours and sprinted into a bunch of tall grasses. "Keep up!"
She grinned widely before she was skittering to a stop in front of the lake that she was heading toward. She giggled a few times leaning toward the water lapping up a large amount of water, almost her entire face in the water. "HAHAHA!" She broke out into giggles as she pulled away from the water turning around and grinning at the male. "We showed that rock!" She puffed out her chest and started to trot around in a circle. "That rock didn't even see us!" She smirked as she looked at the male cub before nodding toward him. "Whats your name?" She demanded right away looking at him with a curious face.

He didn't say anything, for he'd sound stupid for saying that he'd never heard of such a thing. Did his mother not know about cub eating rocks? Or where they just rare and she just saved him and he'd never see another of them. "How many are there?" He asked not able to hold his tongue any longer. He could feel her getting irritated just by her voice and the way she said things.
He almost ran into her. Almost. He stopped just in time at least he was paying attention to her movements, if he wasn't, he would have ran RIGHT into her! Pembe's brother always went on about cuties, but he didn't believe in them. He never got sick from playing with his sister, and this female had already pounced on him.
"Rocks can see?" He raised a eye brow curiously. He never seen eyes on them. Where they hidden? Where they were you couldn't see them? He knew he examined some rocks before. All they did was sit there and do nothing... Perhaps that was their plot. They wanted you to think they did nothing then strike! "I'm Pembe" He said with a smile. "My mommy says it means Pink... Cause I'm pink."

Miw-Sher shrugged as she looked at him, she waited until they stopped to answer his question. "I don't know, but there are a few of them. I've only seen two, not counting that one." She smirked at him before flicking her tail around a few times. She shrugged then lifted a paw licking it before looking around. "See there isn't any around here." She grinned putting down her paw and nodded to him. "Only the cub eating ones. Wow, you really don't know that much." She laughed softly.
"Hi Pembe!" She giggled but then at the next comment she paused, she arched a small brow. "No silly you're blue." But then she got really close to him, sitting back on her haunches and using her paws to pry open his eye lids. "You're eyes a pink though!" She said as she got really close, before standing back up and flopping down in front of him. "My name is Miw-Sher! My family calls me Kitten though. Thats what my name means." She giggled again nodding to him.

He raised a brow. "They don't look like they can move on their own." He eyed her for a moment. He was starting not to believe what she said about the rocks. Though she probably knew more then he did. "I've never seen a rock move anyways. Unless I kicked it." He said with a nod. Maybe they didn't eat him because he was pink. Which might be true.
He shook his head but didn't say anything. He was pink, and he'd prove it. Though, he didn't know what his eyes looked like. He hadn't seen them before. At least he'd never been around water before to see his own eyes. "My sister says pink is a girly color, but my brother is pink... He's not a girl." He said with shaking his head. He didn't notice that she was too close for most other's comfort. He really didn't care about personal space. "Kitten? I think Miw-Sher sounds better then being called kitten." he said with a nod. "Just like Pembe is better then being called Pink.... Who'd want such a boring name? " he asked her with a curious face.

Miw looked at him and shook her head. "But they do. I've never seen one move but thats because they are smart. How many cub eating rocks would move when their prey was around. If you were hunting a rabbit would you just wander in front of it so it can see you before you caught it?" She puffed out her chest trying to prove that what she was saying was right. She grinned at him trying to prove it even more. "They move in front of adult some times, but sometimes they don't either because if they might have cubs around them or with them and they wouldn't want their cubs to be eaten."
She giggled at bit for a moment before she shook her head. "Pink kinda is a girly color, but if can be a guy color to." She shrugged again shaking her head at the males next comment. "Its not that bad!" She huffed softly. "I liked being called kitten. But if you want to call me Miw-sher... you can also call me Miw, its easier." She nodded then shrugged. "Pink can be a cool. Nickname. Not a real name." She shrugged and looked down for a moment. She wouldn't mind being called pink if she had a reason for it. "Wait." Her thoughts were interrupted. "But only your eyes are pink... You must have been named that for your eyes." She pointed out with a nod.

Pembe would.... But that's because he didn't know how to hunt. He nodded at her stupidly. His mom did all the hunting, why would he care about hunting. He never planned to leave her. She was his mom, though he was still tiny and thought he'd stay tiny forever. He tilted his head and eyed the nearest rock.. Though it was far too tiny to even try to eat him. He still eyed it as if it could jump at him at any moment.
"Any color can be any gender, my mommy says. My big sister says she's just lying to me." He didn't know who to believe on that one. His mom or his sister. Though His mom was always right, so He tended to lean towards her say in things then his older sister. "I can't really say what you can call me... Pembe is pretty easy by itself." He said with a smile. "No... I'm pretty sure I'm pink. Mommy says she named me cause I had pink." She never said where though... She he assumed his color was pink. His brother was pink too... Though, he thought it was were the blue was blobbed on him. He never got corrected before. "So.... See.. I'm pink."

Miw-Sher looked at the male and shrugged. "Well your mom or your sister could be right I don't know... None of my siblings are pink. One of them are purple but not pink." She made a face before shrugging afterward she hadn't really seen any pink males really though. She didn't think pink was much of a guys color though. More of a female's color. Her markings were almost pink, but they were still mostly purple. She looked down at her toes before she looked at him again. "Well... Pembe is easy..." Her voice trailed then licked her paw for a moment then looked at him with a confused look.
"But you're blue! You're not pink!" She made a face and stomped her paw down in protest. "You're not pink, not at all. You're eyes are pink but thats it!" She huffed again still looking at him confused. He believed her about the cub eating rock but how come he couldn't listen to her about him not being pink!

"I donno what color purple is." He told her curiously. Perhaps she could tell him. He was new to all colors really and was just learning on what they were called. It was mostly because he didn't know her as to why he wasn't believing her about his color. He smiled at her and decided that she must not know her pinks from whatever color blue was cause he was pink. Though, he'd have to ask his mother just in case. His older sister had told him he was pink "I'm pretty sure I'm pink, but I'll ask my mommy." he said with a nod More thinking to himself then talking to her.

Miw looked at the other cub and made a face, sitting back on her haunches and patting the hair on her head. "Thats purple." She held out her paws and wiggled her toes. "Thats purple." She flashed a grin before she looked again at the male. "I know my colors." She huffed before she used a paw to point at his body, "Thats blue." Then her paw moved up to the mask on his face. "Thats white." Then she fluffed his mane. "Thats black." She made a determined face as she looked at him. "You are not pink." She shook her head a few times as she looked at him.

He shook his head "Nope, my sister wouldn't lie to me." Though she would.. He didn't know it, but she hated males and would take advantage of any situation to mess with them. Pembe just made it fun. He believe most everything she told him. "Maybe blue is a shade of pink." He nodded with a smile. Yes... That had to be it. Blue was a shade of pink. Since he knew that shades of colors had different names. Yes... That had to be it.
