Only a stones-throw away from the office of Yukimaru-Taicho stands a door in a hillside, a camera observes the opening from a recess in the wall. This leads to the office of Razil, Vice-Captain of 1st. Once entered, the door shuts automatically behind the guest and leaves them to descend a medium sized flight of red-carpeted steps. The walls of the tunnel are made of standard cement reinforced with steel-bars. At the bottom of the stairway there is another door-frame that opens up into the office itself, a large room with halogen bulbs at every corner. The walls are decorated with tapestries and weapon racks, filled with various swords, knives, pole-arms, and such. A simple black desk sits by the far wall with a high-backed chair behind it. Beyond even this there is a slit inside an engraved circle. This is a mechanism similar to a Senkai Gate, except it simply opens the wall onto Razil's bedroom. Only certain people's Zanpakuto have been authorized to unlock this room (A list is provided later on), which itself holds a four-poster bed covered by red drapes and curtains. As a whole, the bunker is several hundred meters under-ground, and is covered in a man-made hill of cement and steel. The door is made of an advanced metallic alloy that provides a robust defense, and opens only to certain people if Razil is not present to open it himself. Although the interior is a bit more lavish than you're typical bomb-shelter, the bunker is of the highest military grade and is fully stocked with provisions and a back-up generator as well as room for all of 1st Squad, possibly more, in the case of an emergency.
The last few construction workers cleared out, driving their trucks off to other projects. There was still a lot to do around The Sereitei, the presence of the Hollow had proved destructive throughout the entire area. Razil stepped forward to the single door carved into the mountain-side. It was made of the strongest alloys, and could probably take a missile head-on. The door opened at his whim to reveal a long stone stair-case covered in a crimson carpet. The stairs led down into the mountain, and as the Vice-Captain stepped on the first foot of carpet, the lights flickered to life, triggered by the weight sensor underneath. The door shut with an audible clang behind him, and Razil entered his underground domain.

Razil walked around his new office, admiring the tapestry work and the gleam of blades in their rightful spot. After a few moments, he went and sat down at his desk, summoning a Hell Butterfly as he did so. Razil whispered to it, then watched as it flew away through the special portal he had set up for them. He then folded his hands on the desk, and waited.

Zaine and the group approached the building, eyeing it Zaine said "Wow, Razil is a security nut, that's for sure." he said with a small chuckle and touched the entrance, which swung open easily. "Weird." he muttered and ushered everyone inside, once done the door slammed shut behind them. "Ok whatever." Zaine said and looked about for the Hell butterflies. Finding them he then sent a message to the Taichou of squad 1.

Lerato had been pacing back and forth in front of the stairway for hours now. It had started off as a slow walk, but with time it progressed into a frustrated charge. 'What in the hell is taking them so damn long...' He thought to himself, looking up into the distance at the door.
"Zaine, we have to get out of here." He said as he walked over to his friend. "We've been down here for ages. It's ludicrous. We should be out there helping right now, not down here with our thumbs up our asses." He didn't need to look over at Zaine to know his friend was about to give him a lecture about listening to their superiors. "Yes, I know very well Razil told us to stay down here, but this is becoming ridiculous. People could be dying up there and all we're doing is sitting here like children. For all we know there could have been more arrancar attacks and we haven't done a damn thing to stop it. It's just not right." He spat, hands turning quickly into fists. Once again he could feel the words starting to come forth from Zaine before they reached his tongue. "I don't care what we were told. We were given magnificent gifts, Zaine. We were born with enough spiritual pressure to become shinigami while countless others were left without any recognition of what else is out there. We were at the top of our class and here we sit like mushrooms on a log in the woods. We were meant for much more than this and I know you agree." He continued on, his voice taking on the leader-like qualities that had gotten him through much of his life.
Getting down onto one knee he forced Zaine's gaze to meet his own. "We're meant to be out there, with everyone else, helping to defeat this menace. We made an oath to Soul Society to protect it, and the innocent souls from harm. As such we owe it to our fallen brethren to be out their, fighting side by side until this son of a b***h is caught. What do you think Captain Yukimaru or Captain Evil would say if they saw us sitting here like this? You think either of them got to be where they are today by sitting on their asses, waiting until they were told it was 'safe' to come out? Hell no, they didn't! They would go out there, grab life by the nuts, start writing down names and kicking some major a**, and that's exactly what we should be doing right now. I don't care whether you like to admit it or not, but you know there are times when you have to go against orders. Lieutenant Razil only has our best intentions in mind, but right now there are more important things then our well being. You know I'm going, with or without you Zaine, so the question you have to ask yourself is, do you want to follow orders, sit on your a** and take care of these nurses; or do you want to come with me, join up with someone out there, and bring down this b*****d in the name of first and tenth squad?"

"You think I dont feel the same?" Zaine snapped, "And I've tried leaving while you were asleep I tried all I knew to get that damn door open, It must be keyed to Razil's unique reiatsu." he explained "Meaning, we can't leave till he lets us!" Zaine then looked at his friend, "Im sorry, Im just frustrated with this."

"Why?" He mumbled, looking at the nearest wall. "Why would someone who is so smart, make such a mistake. What is they point of locking us in here?" He asked, looking back. With a heavy sigh he threw himself down against the wall, laying his head down in between his knees. "Don't worry about it Zaine. I know you're frustrated as well. I heard you slamming around in here earlier. It just doesn't make sense. There has to be some way for us to get out of here. I'd suggest we just blow the damn door off, but I fear we might be signing our own death certificates if we do." His voice came out as a low mumble, and yet it still had not admitted defeat.
"Zaine," He called, slowly lifting his head. "in your searching for a way out, did you stumble across Razil's Hell Butterflies?" He asked, a glimmer of hope resting on the man's answer. "Razil wouldn't keep them locked up here without a way out other then the door. That means that some where in this structure is a weak spot which we might be able to exploit, or in the worse case scenario, we send a Hell's Butterfly to Jin or another of the Captains. They'd be able to get in here without problem. Jin and Razil have something together, he wouldn't make it so she couldn't get in or out without him, and Captains," he gave a weak smirk, "well I don't think Razil would have a problem with a superior coming in to get us, right?"

Zaine shrugged "Go for it, let's hope it works." he gave a chuckle and then left the area to check on the others. "But for the love of god, don't try and blow your way out of here, even if it works we wont live for long after Razil gets ahold of us."

Jin walked down the path with a small backpack on her back. She approached the bunker and seen Tadashi standing there smoking. Walking up to him she says, "I don't mind helping people because that's what I do but, I have no clue who you are and for you to be bossing me around like this is unacceptable. I'm not your slave, I'm 1st Squads Medic and though I hold not seat ... I still hold a very important roll in my squad. So while your here in 1st Squads area, keep in mind that you are a guest and should act accordingly."
Jin set down the backpack with what Tadashi requested and turned and walked away before he could reply to her statement.

Quietly the portal opened within Razil's bunker, tiny wings struggling to pass through as the butterfly entered inside and fluttered about for direction before heading towards its intended. It hovered lightly above Zaine and Lerato before lowering to flutter aimlessly in front of Lerato's to get his attention. Once it landed, the message would be delivered. "This is Eguchi, if Lerato gets this or someone with him does please tell him to make his way back to the medical center with any able bodied individuals he currently has in his company. Right now I appear to be the only one defending the only rebuilding structure in our squad and am not sure of what the hell is attacking us, but would greatly appreciate the added man power considering it is quite impossible to burn down Razil's command post. If you need assisstance I can come that way when Jin returns, but I don't think Razil was kind enough to leave the passcode lying around. So it would be wise to step away from wherever there is room to make a hole in. Eguchi out"

Tadashi ignored pretty much everything Jin had complained about. As soon as she had left, he took his cigarette out of his mouth and diffused it with the bottom of his shoe. As he discarded the dud ciggerette on the floor, he studdied the door for the right spot to drill. Tadashi ripped his left sleeve off and proceeded to aim his left arm along the door's hinges. His demon arm began to morph into a large, specialized drill and began to drill at the hinges. As it drilled furiously, It released molten lava along the hinges to weaken it. The process of the drilling provided great stress relief for Tadashi as he successfully removed the top hinge.
Tadashi had turned around for a breather from all the smoke he had caused. He noticed the security camera behind him and began to glare at it. "You guys better not die on me.... Razil will be pissed at me if I can save his guys in time." Tadashi roared as he turned around again and began to removed the middle hinge.

"I know better than to try and blow this place apart Zaine. I was saying that we could do it as a last ditch effort." He mumbled as sat down from his search. He had looked everywhere he thought to look and yet he found nothing. "So when do you think someone will.."
His banter was interrupted a few seconds later by the gentle fluttering of a Hell's Butterfly. "Not to add insult to injury, I'm sure." He laughed and rolled his eyes. The message was delivered almost as soon as the butterfly perched upon his outstretched finger. "It's Uguchi." He told Zaine, relaying the message to his friends as he received it. "He wants me to head towards the medical building with any able bodied individuals with me. That means you." He smiled, looking over at him as they got the first message from a squad member in some time. "We're going to be helping defend the Medical Building with him against the arrancar. He's willing to come this way in case we need assistance, but he needs to wait until Jin returns. If he heads this way, make sure to get out of the way. Apparently he doesn't know the pass code to get in either." He laughed and shook his head, shoo-ing the butterfly away as he stood up.
"I don't think we're going to have to wait all that long though." The sound of drilling drifted into the bunker. "Ironic isn't it? We wait in here for ages, and then in a matter of minutes two people come to break us out." He chuckled, grinning from ear to ear.

Zaine grinned at the excellent news, "Good I can't wait to get out of here, now that I'm in perfect condition I believe I need to teach this arrancarr some lessons." His smile faded "For that nurse he killed especially." Zaine helped move the people who couldn't move on their own into the center of the bunker. "Lerato, know any shielding kidou?" he asked his friend, wanting to make sure no one was injured during their rescue.
