From the trailers is it what you excpected? I for one think that Mad-Eye Moddy isn't anything like what he's supposed to be like. Post your comments on the moive. Also, who's going to see it on Friday?

I am going to see it. I just hope they don't skip all the triwizard tourny events. *sigh* If they do that is going to suck.

I will probably watch it when it's on tv. I never bother to go to the theater anymore.

I SAW IT! IT'S AWSOME! LOVE IT! Sorry for the caps, I would have screamed but no one would have heared me!

I went to see it yesterday (on my own! so proud of myself!) and thought it was damned spiffy! If I was to make any criticism at all, it would be that there was basically no sign of Gary Oldman as Sirius apart from a CGI head in the fire. I especially loved the Yule Ball and the Graveyard scene...The Yule Ball was fantastic was Jarvi Cocker! That was just brilliant! And Ralh Fiennes really made the movie just that extra bit better, because he was absolutely spectacular as Lord Voldemort...very much looking forward to seeing him again in OoTP, hopefully!

Oh, my God! I saw it. It was the best movie ever! I loved everything about it. The new director made it so great. And the ending was so sad. I almost cried. They didn't have Winky though. In fact, no house elves were shown, not even Dobby. I loved the actors and actresses for Fleur, Viktor, Cedric and Cho. They were all amazing. I loved this movie so much!!!!!

I completely agree with you! Mike Newell made it kind of less magical...taking alot out of the Maze, but, it added a very real element to it...and a heck of alot more action! It was absolutely fantastic, and, yes, Stanislav, Clemence, Robert and Katie were very, very good as Viktor, Fleur, Cedric and Cho! yay for Goblet of Fire!

I dunno i think it was ok. They could have seriously done better. But because they can't do everything the book has i guess they did what they could. DobbY is the one that gives harry the gillyweed!!!!!!!

I saw the film at midnight, the night it came out with friends, then I went the next morning at 11 by myself so I could absorb it better.

As a whole, I liked the movie a lot. I think it was a lot better than any of the others. Of course, as a fan of the books, I was overcritical and picky but honestly I think they did really well.

There were a few little peeves I had with it (i'll probably turn most of them into topics at some point) .. like the fact that Voldemort's eyes weren't red and snakelike.. they were absolutely normal. That kind of irritated me because it isn't something amazingly hard to do and would have added to him SO much.

Another small thing that annoyed me is that Dumbledore did NOT explain prior incantantum AT ALL To harry and the audience. If I hadn't read the book I would have been confused as hell.

Most of the big things- like winky being cut out and no s.p.e.w. and both of the patil twins being in Gryffindor.. I didn't mind because it worked better with those changes but the eyes and stuff like that was annoying because there was no reason to leave it out.

- I saw the movie with three of my friends at 7:30PM on premiere day. I have to say it was a huge improvement from The Prisoner of Azkaban. PoA left out so many of the important details that I didn't mind so much when GoF took out a few things here and there.

There are more things I could have complained about but I enjoyed the movie so much I completely forgot to compare it to the book. And to be honest, it really doesn't matter to me what they do and don't take out as long as they leave in a majority of the important details. Another reason it doesn't matter is because I'm not just seeing the movies, I'm reading the books too, so I don't have to worry about missing any little details. Also, they're two different mediums and the movie was only allowed so many hours.

(Another reason I'm no longer picky about any of the little details is because of so many people complaining about Hermione's dress being pink instead of periwinkle blue.)
