I'm just curious, whats your favorite type of humiliation? Public, private, physical, or mental?
If you're a Dom, say which is your favorite type and what you like doing specifically. If you're a sub, you can say which you specifically like done to you.
I'm a sub and I like physical and a little mental humiliation. I usually like public humiliation, but it depends on what it is.
Examples would be great too! Spreading the love, etc sweatdrop

Well, wouldn't all types of humiliation have to be at least partway physical and mental? Sorry, that's just kind of nitpicky.
I've never been too much a fan of humiliation, but I actually kind of like foot // boot worship. To an extent. The only reason I DO like it is because of the humiliating // submissive aspect of it. It's a complete act of submission, really. I'm far from having a foot fetish. I'd rather amputate my feet than ask a sub to suck my toes. But a little bit of foot kissing, mainly.. Mm, it's a shame my love is so against anything foot-related.
Actually, there's one other thing -- public shows. The slight humiliation is part of the fun, I suppose. So in a word, exhibitionism. Mainly on the part of my sub.

Oooh. Humiliation. There are a lot of ways to humiliate someone, and I like a few of the ways....
I prefer degradation over humiliation. It's hard to humiliate a sub who is willing to do anything; But I use humiliation as a punishment technique... It's something ROTC taught me... Ugh.
I also like using it as a training technique as well. It helps the sub learn faster if you were to take said sub out in public and say what she did wrong (quite mockingly) they shape up quite fast.

Degradation? D: That's like.. reducing their self worth and practically abuse. :<

I understand, I'm pretty much the same way XD. One of the reasons I made this topic was because I wanted to find out different techniques people liked to use, so that perhaps one day I'll ask my boyfriend to try out some of them if I'm ever bad. (I'm trying to get him more into bdsm and we're both still pretty new at doing it physically)

Physical is nice too, of course. I prefer being captive if I'm the one being humiliated. Since it's usually RP as well, I find it better when it's someone who knows me well, or knows my character well, whatever. Verbal humiliation combined with holding my head underwater, or flogging... *purr*
I'm not really into the whole public humiliation thing though. At least not in real life. RPing it is fine.

I would prefer private humiliation, public.... depends on what it is. Physical more so then mental, mental just strikes to close to home with some bad experiences.
