((GM Note I removed this picture because 1 it had nothing to do with Saigh and 2 it stretched the page.)) He stood at the edge of a small den. His den. The morning dew seeming to cling to his fur. His eyes narrowed into slits and he shook himself off.
Delano peered over the small hill. No one around it seemed, and he sadly felt lonely. Then again, having company annoyed him. Delano sighed, he was sure what he wanted to do at the moment. Feeling bored, but at peace as well, not really wanting anyone or thing to disturb him, but thinking it'd be nice if someone did as well.

Unfortunately for Delano, or perhaps fortunately, his dilemma was about the be rudely solved. Aineela had absolutely no luck when it came to her paws today it seemed, and already she found herself careening out of control. Really, that rock had tripped her on purpose, what other explanation was there? This thought flitted through the sky blue Saigh's mind as she rolled down the grassy knoll she had slept on the previous night. Thinking that her embarrassment was going to be a private affair, however, she didn't mind this expedited journey down to the plains, however her eyes noticed a blur of white and black just before she firmly connected with a furry body.
Why did this always happen to her?! Trying to untangle herself as speedily as possible, the female was fairly sure she accidentally kicked some part of the other Saigh in her attempts, but she couldn't be sure if that had been the grass. As soon as she was able to get to her feet, she backed away, her eyes lowered. This was so embarrassing! A blush appeared underneath of her blue cheeks, causing a strange purplish appearance, and she stuttered an apology, "Uh, I-I'm so sorry.... I-I must have l-lost my f-f-footing...." Daring to raise her eyes for a moment to gauge the situation, Ainee was terrified to see that she had run into a male... Great....

Delano made an odd sound, a mixture of 'oof' and a yell. He twisted away from the wiggling body to see a light blue female of the same species. He blinked at her, narrowing his eyes. "Well,..that's all very good and all, but..what is it that your doing here?" He raised an eyebrow with annoyance, but his eyes twinkled slightly with happiness and excitment.
A new friend! he thought quietly, oh no..what if she isn't as friendly as she seems to be? Shut up, of course she is.
Silently having a battle in his head, Delano looked her over. "Who are you?...sorry to be rude, I mean um..are you alright?" He suddenly felt odd in his own skin, and wondered what was going on. He hated his mind and how it worked.

What was she doing here? Well she hadn't meant to be exactly here! Wherever here was that was.... Her darker blue eyes peered around the area that she had ended up landing in, realizing that this must be his den. Whoops! "I-uh... I didn't mean to intrude... I just, uh, was sleeping on that hill," and she indicated the hill a little ways off, "and I was a bit off balance this morning when I woke and I slipped...." Though his features expressed obvious annoyance, there was something behind the black and white male's eyes that caused Ainee some confusion as to his mood. Shaking her head at the confusion, she looked back at the markings on her paws, acting exceedingly interested in them.
At the rapid fire questions directed at her, Aineela's nervousness only increased. Her eyes went wide when he spoke of being rude, "Oh, no! You aren't rude, I'm the one who spilled into your home...." The poor girl couldn't help fidgeting a bit, and pawing at the ground in her need to move. Realizing it would be further rude to not answer his questions, Aineela stuttered out, "Oh, I-I'm Aineela, a-and, I'm all right I guess...." As she reached the end of the sentence, her tongue seemed to behave her a bit better, perhaps because she had to actually stop to think about it. Her back was a bit sore from her wrenching efforts to disentangle herself, but nothing that wasn't exceedingly used to with her clumsiness. "W-what's your name?" She might as well ask at least....

Delano's ears lowered, boy this girl was nervous. Look what you did now! She won't befriend you now! Delano shrugged, "Yes this is my home, but you didn't harm me or the den." He motioned to his side, his den front was just behind them. "I guess since it was an accident its alright," he smiled uneasily. "It's nice to me you," he frowned only slightly, what if she already didn't like him? What if she didn't like his name? "My names Delano." his voice grew the slightest bit of an edge to it. He was almost cringeing, his paws shuffled slightly in the ground.

((So when I was making this girls cert I think I typed Aineela when I meant Aileena, so I changed it smile ))
When Aileena looked up from the ground once more, she watched the black and white male lower his ears. Uh-oh.... What if he was mad? Glancing around a bit, she realized that it wouldn't be too hard to bound off away from the den entrance, just hopefully he wasn't faster than her. It wasn't likely, since speed was one of the few things that Ailee had going for her, but one never knew.... Momentarily relief spread through the blue cat's expression, though, when the male affirmed that he was not harmed. As he continued speaking, a bit of the nervous knot that had formed in Ailee's stomach loosened. Nice to meet her? Well! It wasn't often she got that greeting! As he further introduced himself, an odd expression came over his features though, and Ailee's face tried to mimic the expression, her mind trying to determine what emotion was the cause of it.
"Uh, it's nice to meet you too!" Her voice grew a bit too highly pitched towards the end for a normal conversation, further betraying her fear, but she really was trying to be friendly.... "Delano.... My name is Aileena." She smiled a bit, her eyes hopeful that this wouldn't be the end of the conversation.

(Sorry it took so long! And sorry this is so short!) On the inside, Delano was very happy to meet her, and smiling. Instead, he smiled half heartedly, but then it twitched into a quick frown. "Aileena.." he paused, yes she was a new friend! Or maybe not..
He nodded, "What where you doing before you..er..fell?"

The male's failed attempt at a smile was a bit startling to Aileena, and she returned it with a weak smile of her own. Not really being sure of what to do when he spoke her name, she bobbed her head a bit, confirming that that was her name. The few more moments of silence were a bit unnerving, and the blue female shifted her weight from one side to the other, wondering if she should say something. Finally, the male spoke again, and she was temporarily relieved at the sound of words in the air, but then those words registered with her mind and she was stumped once again. What had she been doing? Oh yes! She had just woken up, that was why she had been so clumsy. "Oh, I, uh, had been sleeping, and then I, uh, woke up, I guess...."
Realizing that it was a strange response, Aileena managed another weak smile, and once again felt the need to fill the silence. But this time, thankfully, she had a question to use, his own, "So, um, what were you doing before I, uh.... fell.... on you?" It was a decent enough question, and she really was slightly curious, seeing as she still felt a bit guilty about interrupting his morning so rudely....
