Is this sort of talk allowed? Has there already been a thread like this? If so, feel free to delete, I guess.
But anyway, has anyone been completing surveys and registering their products on Nintendo's new site? Apparently they're currently sending out email alerts to everyone that achieved Elite Status on the site.
I don't remember being to involved in that but I did complete a survey or two and now I have to wait for a "Special Reward".
Anyone else get this email?
Note: Deadline for reaching Elite Status was June 30th.

I got the email today too. Honestly, I couldn't care less about what the prize actually is. Getting ANYTHING for free will be cool.

I only bought things I was gonna buy anyway, somehow managed gold status. The only thing it persuaded me to do was buy Kirby SSU now, rather than later.

I've been registering my stuff ever since they started allowing it with My Nintendo, so I've got so many surveys I barely made a dent in them (mostly out of laziness), reached gold status, and probably still have enough surveys left to reach platinum status for next year. Of course, I got a ton of games in the GameCube era, and I haven't been buying games as often for the Wii and DS, so those surveys are probably going to have to last me.

The fact that you have to redeem it, and that it needs time to be gathered up in sufficient numbers means it'll probably be a tangible asset. It could, for all be know be like a keychain XD
