Ivy sat just outside the HQ again. She waited for Raken with a smile on her face. She was excited to see him again. After the Isle's move and everything it would be nice to do something normal. Seda was with Mal today so she didn't worry about her.
Ivy wondered what the movie would be like. She had asked a few paes what is was and they told her it was moving pictures that told a story. That sounded pretty neat to her.

It probably was a big surprise for Ivy then when Raken stuck his head out of the double doors right behind the elder. He had come in earlier to set things up. "Guess who?" He spoke lowly, masculine voice taking on an almost playful tone. The male was just as excited as she was, though he'd rather be pierced by a spear then admit it. Even if Tristens hope for love failed between them, the elder would make a decent friend. One of his only friends really. He lacked social grace in the most literal sense.

Ivy jumped at the voice and them smiled to herself. "Raken, I hope." She turned around to see that it was indeed her date. She stood up and walked over to him. "I didn't know you were here already." She hadn't been sitting there long, but hadn't really thought about going inside.

"I didn't want to leave you alone while making popcorn, so I came early." He flashed a smile before opening the door wide for her. "Ladies first." For once, he regretted that he ignored Tristen whenever he ranted about how to treat a woman. Hopefully he'd live through this without offending.

"Smart thinking." She giggled and went inside. "Aren't we the gentleman." She smiled and walked into the hallway. She felt her heart start to race at the start of another date. She never thought she could feel this way again.

"Its only proper." He spoke softly, following in after her. If he read correctly, horror movies were the way to go with beginning dates. With romantic comedies later on. But some females, like his sister Dayht, hated scary things. So then drama was a good second beginner, because of the high emotions running. He probably was thinking too much into this. The demonic fell into step beside the female, repressing a sigh. Maybe he should just ask her? "What sort of genre do you like? Such as mystery, drama, etcetera?"

She smiled and then shook her head. "I actually have never watched a movie." She felt a bit dumb again, when she asked her daughter about movies she didn't tell her anything about genres. "Can you pick and I'll be happy with anything."

No pressure at all. As he led the way, he tried to scrounge together in his head what to do next. Drama would probably be safest. But it could so easily backfire and kill the mood of a date. "Well...do you like halloween?"

She followed him down the hall and shook her head. "Sure, I like to dress up and have fun on the holiday. Is there a movie about that?" She really was clueless when it came to things like movies. She was glad for this though, usually all she did was talk to trees and plants, this was good for growing her.

He chuckled softly at her response. He REALLY was on his own with this. "Lets...go with a nice drama." They entered the main living room, where already there was bottles of water and a big bowl of popcorn set out in front of the large screen t.v. Thankfully he had found the dvd cabinet earlier, and had a few selections that sounded interesting already picked out.

"Ok." She said and then looked at the room. "Wow, this is really nice. You did all this?" She asked as she turned to face him. He really went all out for her and she hadn't had anyone even a temped to do that in a long time. Her cheeks grew red as she sat in one of the chairs.

"Well...yeah." He caught her blush and instantly felt his own heat startlingly. "I mean...I wanted to get this right." He walked over to his drama pile. "which sounds better, Pae of Our Lives or Demonic Records?"

She pondered those two options. "Which one do you like better?" She had no clue what to pick, really. She grabbed a handful of popcorn and tossed a few into her mouth. "Yum." She said, as she hadn't had popcorn before either. She hadn't realized how much she had missed.

"Oh no." He lightly chuckled, walking over to hand the two movies to her so she could look at them. "You pick this one. I've never watched a movie myself, so want to share some of the blame if this goes horribly awry." If a pae were to see him now...they'd think he was one of his daughters shadow puppets. Fre was able to see this side of him, just before she disappeared. How was it that Ivy was able to bring it out again so easily?

Ivy looked from box to box and then stuck out the one titled, "Demonic Records." "How about this one, since it's about demons, like us?" She shrugged and ate another handful of popcorn. "I'm sure they are both good."
