-Upon finding Haldis's location, Xeen contacted Ora, Lori, and Eric who focused in on that direction.

-They board Haldis's ship and a grand fight ensues. But in the end they manage to connect Haldis and Toli. The process was supposed to wipe Haldis, but Haldis fought it, and would prefer to destroy herself and everyone else, instead of be wiped. Ora and Xeen are able to back the majority of the final blast/attack but in the end the shields they set up burst and the last bit of power pushes into everyone, though only proving fatal for Toli.

-The moment Haldis is destroyed, Gautrine collapses and has to be rushed to the medical wing.

-Svarlena and her cellmate are released from prison

-Thesyian survivors begin to set up a new life on Vultis, and Ghost's bar becomes a grand hit, and the popularity of his new drink solved the weed problem which made the planet mostly uninhabitable. Erica is slowly rebuilding her library.

-Tu lived again and reunited with her sisters. Even Thri managed to show her face for the reunion.

-The remaining Kore officers who managed to live...changed their names and identities, slipping quietly into different worlds, in hopes to avoid war charges or worse. One former officer still wears a rust-colored braid tied around his wrist.

-The planets that allied themselves with the Kore began to fall apart, many of them warring amongst themselves, some of them becoming targets for criminals and worse. The realms outside of Earth's designated space were wild and ungoverned once more.

((please post any other endings/updates that need to be added.))

"You have both arms." Ora said in surprise as she stepped quietly into the recovery room.

Pen glanced up from the bed a weak smile on her face. "Aye, both arms and both hands."

"The cycle that gives and takes away." Ora said. Her own arm was still bound tightly. The limb itself had been saved, but the hand had been too far crushed to be of use again. She moved to sit down in a chair by Pen's bed. "I'm glad to see you alive. If I'd known Haldis's death would drop you like that I..."

"Would have done it anyway." Pen managed to pull herself up slightly, "It was enough to kill me, technically I was dead for a good handful of seconds, but they have a good medical team on the ship. But I've worked with you long enough, you'd have done it anyway. In fact, I'd take a bet you knew it would happen, and that's probably something you'd not want Jarred to know, but you knew, didn't you?"

Ora glanced up to meet Pen's eyes. They didn't move away. "I hoped that it wouldn't."

"And did you know you'd lose Toli as well? Did you know she'd die during the process?" Pen asked, the machine monitoring her life signs began to beep a slight bit. A sound that reminded Ora far too much of her suit.

"I promised Toli's father I'd bring her back to him, safe." Ora said, her voice matched the cold tone she once took when confined to a machine as Lia, carefully empty of emotion.

"You lied to him."

"I have never claimed to be a good person." Ora said.

Pen watched her in silence for a few minutes. "Would there have been anyone you wouldn't sacrifice?"

"Yes," Ora stood up from the chair, her good hand hesitating by the arm rest. "though I haven't seen him in over a hundred years, and I fear I've lost him already."

"The cycle that gives and takes away is often a just one."

"And often not," Ora echoed back. "Though, he was right in that I depended on him far too much."

"It would be best if we not see you again." Pen said.

Ora gave a simple nod of her chin as she began to move for the door. "That, it probably would."

-On Thesys, Dem and Dem's zombified 'toys' slowly rebuild and repair enough instruments and ships to get off the planet. From there, Dem goes from one desolate and isolated planet to another in quick succession, building a zombie force several thousand strong from people no one notices are gone. Then Dem goes to a system with several populated planets... including Cebidata, the Rogue and neo A.C.'s home planet.

-With the collapse of the Kore, Cebidata and its sister planets disappear off the galactic map; their only communication and infrastructure with the outside universe was through the Kore, and no one wants to open trade with the orphaned planets. Cebidata is the first to fall to Dem, and the others follow suit before too long.

-Cassandra goes home to the ruins of Union City on Earth (now a museum) for a day, then returns to the Facility. For five years, she watches Dem's path of destruction in painful detail... and decides it's finally time to find Anc, instead of waiting for his location to fall into her lap.

-An alternative-universe version of the Rogue, who didn't die from her wounds, begins a journey through the fabric of existence hoping to someday stop Dem and undo the mistake that killed the Rogue.

-The ACO continued to spread, OWLs remaining vigilant and FOXs toying with the system, but other cells losing their connections with each other after the downfall of the Hunters and death of the Kore. They remain passive, dormant, or activists on their respective planets, depending on each cell's home situation. On the newly-isolated planet Merdun, the ACO becomes a religious organization after a child is found to already have the "mystical" psychic connection to "the center" that each member receives as they join.

-Corellia's sword is lost.

-Lori creates several timely distractions and has one good hit on the enemy, but decides the in-person battle on Haldis' ship is beyond her skills and stays in her craft. She is never seen again.

-Dunham was a terrible person for not posting

[/OOC]

-Jarred and Pen lived happily ever after... or they didn't, who's to say? Either way, Jarred went on to continue his genius before dying at an exceptionally old age, or young, who's to say?

-Earth moved to bring order to the planets left without it, setting up supply trains for the planets that relied on the Kore for it, and the Empire spread.
The planets united under the Empire became as Emperor Dunham saw good, and with every planet that joined the Empire, he grew a little bit older, till one day, he disappeared from his home, never to be seen again.

-Arch does whatever the hell it is Arch does. Helps Ora with her man, in this case.

On a small planet with no particular name, settled hundreds of years ago with generation ships and forgotten by the universe, a petite, green-eyed stranger sat in a tavern and had a quiet drink. Her companion to the right was boisterous, a blonde giantess who didn't seem to know her alcohol limit. The smaller woman watched her curiously for over an hour before her attention was noticed.

"Hi!" the giantess exclaimed happily, attempting to hug the petite woman but missing by more than a foot. The petite woman was glad of the miss... The bigger woman looked to have some ridiculously lean muscle under her dress, and that hug could have very painful. She smiled as the blonde said again, "Hi!"

"Hi, there," the petite woman greeted back. "What's your name?"

"Core!" the giantess told her happily.

"Kore?" The smaller woman blinked, not sure of that answer.

"Corellia!" the giantess elaborated. "It's with a C."

"Oh!" The petite woman laughed. "I see. That's a very nice name."

"Who are you?"

The petite woman's gaze grew thoughtful for a moment, and then she met the giantess' friendly, curious gaze and said, "I'm Rayn."

The other woman seemed confused for a minute. "...Rain?"

The petite woman laughed. "It's with a Y."

"Oh!" She was smiling drunkenly again. "C, Y! We like each other," she slurred.

The petite woman laughed lightly. "See why we like each other!" she exclaimed. "I like you, Corellia."

It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

- The Hunters, still reeling from the fall of the Kore, were quickly set straight by Johachim, the Captain, and a battle group from Earth. After Gate was dealt with, Johachim took over the Hunters once again, and made short work of mending the damage Gate did, although the tarnished reputation will take longer to heal. Quick to step to the aid of the planets affected by recent events, the Hunters fanned out throughout the rim of the galaxy, working to build stronger ties with both local system governments and the Empire.

-Eric went off and did his own thing, likely having several more adventures before his age caught up to him.

-Xeen stayed with Erica, content to be with her at last, and glad to be away from spacecraft, and space, itself.

Whyfor the tears, BD? This means we're done with these characters and can change to a completely different world--for real, this time. Isn't that what you wanted?

Someday, you'll see them again.

Which is too bad for JEZ, maybe, but we can pretend he just got too drunk to tell the difference. xd

Sprite says he'd be interested, but is far too busy IRL to rp.

So, how was everyone's 4th of July?
