I have to say that I find him very interesting. I certainly agree that God has given us far more freedom than most people seem to think we have.

No, I read what he had to say about writing horror and being a christian and answering his family's questions as to how he could meld the two together. I also certainly agree that his storyline of redemption in the midst of horror is certainly a Godly message. I feel the exact same way about a redemptive message in the midst of the romance novels that I write.
I've been on drama teams and such as well, I LOVE acting .... and when I've had people suggest I get involved in community theater, I just can't do it. Most secular stuff does not have a redemptive message, and I find that if something doesn't have it, I feel it's a waste of my time.
