Well, like the title says... I'm ore of the line drawing person but I wanna try adding some shading to give my drawings more of a 3D-ish feel... However, I'm failure at hading so I wanna ask around for any tips or techniques...

start with shading different items around the house: a ball, a glass, the computer, etc. Once you master basic shapes you can move to drawing realistic looking dolls or a person willing to sit still... Lots and lots of practice smile

i started on small things, like the ruffle of a dress of a wrinkle in clothing. all depends on what you're specialty in art is (still life, portrait, anime, etc.) you could also draw a chibi and try shading that (:
