I'm quite new to this guild, in fact today's my first day. However I'm not new to the BDSM lifestyle, I've been actively involved in the life style since I was 15 years old.
I've recently been struggling with my place in the world and I'm looking for like minded Doms and slaves to talk to. Being forced to live in a vanilla world I'm looking for an outlet for my submissive nature and if talking about it to complete strangers on Gaia cuts it, then so be it.
Aside from that, I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, or even if I'm looking for anything at all. I just know that I'm missing a part of me and I'm lost trying to find it.

Hello. I cannot speak for others, but I know that feeling as well... Being in the TCC didn't make it go away for me, but it certainly calmed it down.

I'm still not even sure if TCC is the right place for me. They seem to be tied in with RP and other IC things, I'm here for a purely OOC thing.

OOC stuff seems to take a lesser role in the TCC, but I think that people usually base IC off of their own response, kind of.

Why do you say IC takes precedence? The whole guild itself is mostly based around OOC discussion, preferences, and experience; the offsite serves as an IC outlet mainly to those who've been unable to find a community offline or generally unable to express themselves. And even if you do find the guild lacking in some way, I suggest you use the feedback thread instead of going off-topic in another thread. Thanks.

Welcome! I do hope you find at least a sliver of what you are searching for here at the TCC. Agreeing with Britt, I must say that the gaia guild is almost purely based on OOC discussion, education and community. The IC is pushed to the offsite and plays a very minimal role while here on Gaia. We provide the outlet for those who need it and for those who dont, the gaia guild is perfect. Also, the feedback forum is open for any constructive opinions and we are always open to making the guild a better and more accommodating place for our guests.

I didn't mean to offend anyone. I'm still trying to find my place in the guild.

It's okay, I guess. I might get a little touchy about criticism of the guild sometimes, but that's just because I've worked my a** off on it for so very long and especially recently to pump life back into it. It just strikes a little bit of a nerve when people seem to be grumbling to themselves about the guild without ever once speaking to me or another vice captain // moderator about their issues with the place. Idk, I'm kind of rambling about someone else who was pretty rude about the offsite.
In any case, I hope you do find a niche here in the guild. Don't be afraid to create discussion threads in topics where you think they're lacking. And you can even start discussion on the offsite, if you feel it's a little too explicit for Gaia. I hope you enjoy your stay at the TCC~

I more or less was thinking of the offsite because that's where the main activity takes place other than the chatterbox. I did not mean critism of any sort, and apologize if it came across that way.

There's plenty of discussion that takes place in the guild, dear. And if you think it's lacking, you can feel free to post your own discussion thread.

I think slowly but surely I'll find my place within the guild. I've already have quite a few warm welcomes.
At the risk of brown nosing, I like this guild xD

Pft, the other mods and I love hearing compliments about the place. We work hard, and we're pretty damn loyal to the place.
