Physical Description: Raedue is somewhat tall, with most of his height in his legs. He is also pretty skinny, with lean muscles, and shaggy, light brown hair that has bleached almost blond with constant exposure to sunlight. He also has hazel eyes, though the color that seems to be most dominant depends upon his mood.

Personality: Raedue is a rather cheerful person, always willing to talk to strangers. He is also certainly not afraid to speak up in defense of his opinions. Which has, unfortunately, gotten him into several fights at various gathers. But he always manages to work things out, and quite often he comes out of the fight with yet another new friend. Raedue is also an accomplished flirt, and will flirt with both men and women, though he is only ever serious with the men. Though this habit has also landed him in a brawl or two.

History: Raedue is only the latest in a long line of Runners in his family. He is as of yet an only child, though his parents have certainly not been shy in their attempts at making another baby. Much to his annoyance at times.

Growing up he was always around other Runners, and he loved hearing their stories about the places they had been, the people they met. As he grew older, he began to grow into the same long, lean build that his father had. Which Raedue was very happy about, as he very much wanted to be a Runner like his parents, who were among the fastest runners on Pern. They were more than happy to train him in the craft, and were rather proud that their only child wanted to follow in their footsteps.

And follow in their footsteps he wanted to do indeed. Follow and surpass them. He trained hard, for he wanted to not only be the fastest Runner on the planet, he also wanted to be the most traveled. He wanted to visit every hold that he could, including those on the Southern continent.

Raedue had been hoping to soon be assigned his first cross, when he was scheduled to make a delivery to a nearby hold. However, as circumstances would have it, he arrived with his message at just about the same time that riders on search did. And to his surprise, one of the greens insisted that he was to be chosen. It did take some convincing, but eventually he agreed to go with them.

Pets: None, runner lifestyle does not lend itself to the keeping of pets.

Other/Talents: Not much, though he has been known to sing a tune or two now and again.
