It was chilly tonight. The weather had been rather cool for it being summer. Aethereal shivered, a cool breeze chilling her for a moment. She had been finding it difficult to sleep lately - nightmares haunted her as soon as she closed her eyes to rest.
She didn't know why she kept having the nightmare. It was the same one, over and over. She would be wandering aimlessly, much like she was doing now. But she would end up in the middle of a blizzard - frozen and alone. It wasn't your typical nightmare, but it still frightened her.
She hoped that this little bit of exercise would wear her out enough to have a dreamless sleep. Sighing a bit, she forced herself into a trot.

He wasn't out to avoid nightmares or tire himself out, so he could avoid nightmares. He was out though and wondering around. His mother was sleeping back in the teepee, peacefully tucked away with her hair and a wing hiding her face.
Silvera however hadn't been able to sleep. It was nice and cool out and even a bit of dampness in the air, which he loved. It was the perfect evening in his opinion and so he was making his way through a tree cleared area the beads which were draped about him glowing softly, giving some light with which to locate him.

Aethereal spotted something in the distance - a strange white glow. Almost like snowflakes, moving in the moonlight. What was it? It looked beautiful. She slowed down, mesmerized by the pretty lights - she slowly made her way towards them.
As she got closer, she saw that they weren't snowflakes, but long beads, draped over a Soquili. What were they doing out here so late? She froze, not knowing whether to draw attention to herself or not.

Draped in his hair were two strands then about his thighs were strands, only on his back legs, and on his lower back legs. His hair was like finely woven moonbeams while his wings were as soft and pale as snow.
His horn shimmered softly as he lowered his head, wings unfolding to drape and dust over the ground, his horn tip just touching the dew covered grass. Lifting his head he stopped, he'd spotted the other soquili.
Spring green and pale wings with soft pink hair. She looked and reminded him of a soft early spring morning for some reason. His attention focused on her he tilted his head, wings folding up to his back.

As quiet as she had been, the Soquili must have scented her. He was quite stunning as far as males went. He looked soft in a way... as if he wouldn' be capable of hurting anything. But was that just a disguise? As he looked towards her, she didn't feel any hostility in his posture though, so she introduced herself. "Hello, I'm Aethereal."
She hoped she was right about him. She was already tense from the nightmare, and didn't want any trouble.

Perhaps he had scented her? Or he had just been lifting his head at the right moment and spotted her? She was quite pale in coloring and stood out no matter how dark it was...she stood out.
Lifting his head fully and standing properly he made his way toward her with a gentle, light stride. "I'm Silvera, good evening." A bowing of his horned head and a light smile flitted across his pale features.
"A fine night to be out...but to be out alone..." He said shaking his head a bit. Though he was out alone also he wasn't well..female and looking quite as venerable as she did. At least that was what first came to his mind.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Silvara," she said shyly. Muscles relaxed as she heard his voice. His kind words ensured her that no harm would come to her while she was with him. "It's a beautiful night, I'm glad I'm not by myself anymore. Good things are meant to be shared." She looked at the night sky, with all of its shining stars. Silvara reminded her of the stars, or a night with a full moon. She looked back at him and smiled. She was starting to forget her nightmare already.

"Indeed, I agree. And tonight is lovely...so shall we then walk together and enjoy the evening?" He asked bowing his head once to the female and smiling up at her, his wings unfolding as he bowed and tilting down toward the ground, feather tips brushing the ground. Motioning with his head for her to lead the way.
Rising he folded his wings back up nice and properly. "So, which way shall we travel this evening?" He asked gently.

"I would enjoy that very much." she smiled at him. He seemed so gentle - one of the first stallions she had met to act this way. Most had been showy or full of themselves. Silvara seemed different in that respect. She closed her eyes for a moment and felt the chilly breeze come up from behind her. "Why don't we go where the wind takes us?" She suggested.
