Casonova trotted along idly, his head held high and tail in poise as well. He had just gotten his green coat groomed, and he was feeling mighty finer than a frog's hair. Soon spotting a large shady tree he felt inclined to rest by it- and so he did of course. It was rather warm actually, being quite the sunny day. Hot cause I'm here of course.~ He chuckled to himself, always enjoying a reason to either complement himself or a lovely mare. Lying down he flicked his tail away from himself, making sure he didn't ruin his mane or anything. It was just to be a moments rest, not a second longer- well, unless you count falling asleep as not resting. Quickly his eyes felt shut for a nap, and the same nightmare he's had at least once a week every week since Astraea arrived began to start once more.

Zillzee trotted through the meadow, looking to a particular unicorn that she needed to talk to. She has seen him a couple times, yes, and developed quite a crush on him. She didn't know if he knew about that, or the foals that were growing in her belly.
The mare thought it was impossible. Her, being a mother to his kids. And she didn't quite know how to feel about it either. Like she said before, she had a crush, but that didn't mean she was ready for a full-time relationship with him!
There he was. Zillzee walked over to him under the tree, and was surprised to find him sleeping.
"Hey! Wake up!" She poked him with a hoof.

Casonova reluctantly opened his eyes, as the dream had not gotten to the bad part yet and was still in the nice stage. He grumbled a little, before turning to see who it was. "Ah! Zillzee~!" He smiled, his drowsiness shedding off quickly. Getting onto his hooves he dipped his head lightly in greeting. What a nice surprise this was.~ He hadn't seen the fair mare in a while.
"What brings you around these parts...?" He asked curiously, trying to read her expression. It was difficult to read- but he was quite sure it was nothing positive, and his gallant smile turned into a small frown. "What happened...?" He had a nagging feeling it wasn't something he could do much about... Maybe I should have just kept on walking after all...

"Uh..." It was hard to break the news to someone that was happy. And embarassing too. But Zillzee just woke him up from what looked like a nice nap. So she can't back out now. She had to tell them.
"Guess what? You're going to be a father." She tried to say it with a smile.

Casonova's small frown turned into a face of devastation. "W...what?" He head lowered slightly, absorbing Zillzee's words. Was this even... possible? Fathomable? Usually his mind would jump right to how chicks would be able to dig him if he was a father but this was not the case- and quickly he attached it to his reoccurring nightmare. So that's why she called me a betrayer in those dreams... Yes; if Casonova was to ever have kids Sayena probably would want to be the mother of them. They had come to agreeable terms that they loved one another. But then again, gah, he loved all mares~! How was he suppose to tell her the news? He couldn't lie or hide it!
He raised his head, feeling more terrible than he ever has. How could I have done this to both Zillzee and Sayena??? "I'm..." He wasn't sure how to respond. Apologize? Zillzee said it was a smile, sorta, but he couldn't tell if she really wanted kids or not... He didn't exactly want to act as if he left a curse upon her- but he wouldn't be able to force out a grin as if it were great news either!

Zillzee wasn't surprised to see that Casonova was a bit shocked. It was a surprise to everyone, including herself. And she wouldn't be surprised if he didn't want the foals. The real thing she wanted to know was if he was going to be by her side anyway, accept these kids and help her raise them. Like a family, however accidental.
"Um..." She felt really bad dumping this kind of news on him. "I guess... Are you going to stay with me? At least, until the foals grow up. Maybe..."
The mare glanced at the ground and shuffled her feet. What kind of question was that? What if he said no?

Casonova's ears perked at the question, and he smiled gently and comfortingly. "Well, I'll probably be pretty bad at parenting but you don't have to ask- because the answer is an of course." He was a bad stallion he didn't have to be a bad father. Leaning in he gave her a light nuzzle, "don't worry, I'll do my best."
Leaning his back out again he looked her over for a moment. Zillzee really was cute... It was true what some said, females are most beautiful when they're pregnant... well... it was probably a figure of speech but still. Things will have to bare for now- no matter what happens these kids have got to grow up happy. This time around he couldn't just shove the effort and problems onto someone else like he usually did.

Zillzee laughed a bit and nuzzled back. "I'm a first time parent too, so we'll be bad together. We will learn though. And our kids will be the best kids out there..."
Oops, she was starting to ramble. To someone who she didn't call a mate, although she would like to. Maybe she really was a mother at heart, even if she didn't really think herself as one. All this was still quite sudden to her. And maybe raising these foals would be one of the best moments of her life?

"Most definitely," there was nothing at the back of his mind and he meant it wholeheartedly. "Zillzee you'll be a wonderful mother," smiling softly he pointed to the tree. "Would you like to rest? You must be a little tired..." He'd try not to fall asleep this time.
Although I may not be the same stallion now that I'm a father... I guess I am a little excited for children. How fun it would be, teaching a son all the charms he had learned over the years. His thought process paused for a moment, ...what am I thinking? How unlike me, being a father really must change someone! "Father" seemed to echo over in his mind at least a hundred times in the last minute.

"Ah... Yes. I am feeling a bit light-headed. I didn't notice that before." Zillzee chuckled and laid down on the grass, careful not to hurt the unborn foals. It was nice under the tree. She could see why Casonova fell asleep under it.
"You know... I'm glad that you're going to stay and be part of the kids' lives." She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. "I heard stories of a mare getting pregnant and the father just leaves... I can't imagine how she must feel, or the kids."

"I'm glad too, otherwise my conscience would be kicking me," he said jokingly. "But yeah, it must be terrible... where I live we found an abandoned basket once- the lil filly that lived inside it still doesn't know who her parents are. It's quite depressing really." (He wasn't very serious about it at the time when finding it but of course when it came to his own blood he would be).
Watching the shadows of leaves on the grassy Casonova sighed, though it was difficult to read as a positive or negative sigh.
