Events
- Ariath takes flight a second time; Enelth, Tallith, Fernomanth, Zelith, and Kenthoth follow. Enelth succeeds, regaining his and M'xan's position as Weyrleader.
- M'xan and Blyir have a (moral-boosting) conversation in the corridors.
- Hatching festival begins, M'xan and Ephia confront each other, followed by Blyir and L'cian.
- Replaced as Weyrleader by L'cian when Brown Tallith flys Ariath.
-2 days prior to beginning of RP: The weyrwoman Sirana and her queen passed away, rumors of a new weyrwoman being transferred are being dismissed as false and it seems Ephia will be taking over with her golden Ariath.

Name: M'xan (Maxan prior to Impression)
Nickname: Maxy (Used only by Enelth)
Rank: Wingleader
Age: 43
Gender: Male
Build: Lean, but strongly built and fairly tall at 6' 1"
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Light brown, worn loose and just long enough to push out of his face.
Clothes: M'xan's riding gear is comprised of a thick, dark brown riding jacket embroidered with flying dragons, brown leather gloves, and standered flight pants and boots. When not out flying, he usually wears a loose, dusty blue top and a thin, lighter riding jacket and pants both of which are not suitible for long periods of flight or between. The only other things he wears constantly is a thin, blue necklace with small brown beads, his rider knot on his left shoulder, and a plain belt knife.
Personality: M'xan is a man of considerable power and influence within the Weyr. A traditionalist in the classic sense, he was enraged when Brown Tallith flew Ariath, causing him to be replaced as Weyrleader. Fearless in his opposition of the new Weyrleaders, he has no problem speaking his mind to them, and is determined to regain his place.
Within his own Wing, he is stern and demands respect. He implicity trusts only his Wingsecond, Blyir, who transferred to Rias with him, and bluerider S'dar, a wingrider in his wing. Both are the people closest to him, and his respect for them is immense.
