Well, my lovies, I just got back from a day with my friend at the outdoor mall. It was hot. Anyway, we went to the huge borders there, and guess what the first thing we see is? A Twilight stand. But, that's not all. Deeper in, we saw...yet ANOTHER stand.
And as we went to the mid-section, you know what we saw?
A ******** Twilight AISLE.
The only good coming from this was that I got to announce, very loudly, that it was bullshittery.
Oh, and when there were two fans and a twimom, I started reading aloud from the book. Well, not the actual text, more along the lines of... " And he started rubbing up her thighs, feeling the pasty white skin..." etc.
Oh, and I moved the whole series to the erotica section.
So I guess it was a mission success.

But you got to make fun of Twilight in front of fans.. it's fun because all they can do is stare daggers at you while you make fun of Eddykins and Mary Sue Bella.

I can understand 1 but still... 3?!
I think I'd do that too, misread the book so people who haven't read it will stay away from it (or... be highly disappointed XD.) Epic.

What is this world coming to? I think i'll try that the next time I see something like that. We don't have a Borders, but I do see those things in the music store.

Our Border's has multiple Twilight sections too. D': Speaking of which ...
You know how bookstores have release parties for big novels, case in point: the Harry Potter series? And how they unfortunately even had them for the most recent Twilight books?
Last November I was eagerly awaiting the release of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, y'know, by J. K. Rowling and all, on December 4th. One day as I strolled into Border's, I was ambushed by a large sign in the Twilight title font that read "TWILIGHT DVD RELEASE PARTY [insert date here]"
Now, excuse me. A BOOKstore will hold a party for the DVD release of TWILIGHT, but not for a companion for the Harry Potter books?
Maybe I'm just being a dumb Rowling fangirl, but I was disappointed, guys. ; 3;

LOL. Recently, I was in Books A Million with a friend, and I was buying myself the new re-release of The Gulag Archipelago and they had a big Edward Cullen doll at the register. My friend and I were giggling about how creepy the thing was when I noticed the girl behind the register wearing a Twilight pin and glaring at us. It was epic.

3?! Seriously? The one near my house only has an aisle filled with Twicrap. Yet Harry Potter is shoved into a tiny corner of the sci-fi/fantasy section. stare
