Have you ever noticed those little things in Kingdom Hearts..those little hidden meanings?
Like when Riku offers Sora a paopu (sp? ;_ wink fruit...
Or when the flower says "Give me a potion and I'll make you bigger"...

Lol, I couldn't help but giggle when I saw this thread title. xd
Ah, yes, those lovely hidden meanings...
Like the fact that in Neverland, Riku created a Heartless that looked like Sora, when he could have just as easily made one in the form of Kairi. Now what does that tell you? whee
Ooh, or how about the fact that the Oblivion keychain is a black version of Sora's crown pendant, and the Oblivion keyblade is not only highly associated with Riku, but also practically a prize for defeating him the second time at Hollow Bastion? (Not to mention, the Oblivion keyblade is the one the BHK tosses to Riku in Deep Dive...) heart

Anyways, Torrina~<3 The thing about Riku creating a heartless Sora...I read a fanfiction about that somewhere. If I could just find it. ><; Anyway, yeah, it's almost like Riku's in LOVE with Sora. *gaspgasp* x'3
Ah, I never noticed the Oblivion keychain, but Sora's crown necklace must be pretty important to him. He has it on in Kingdom Hearts II all the time (even in his lion form xD). I wonder who gave it to him? Maybe it was a present? Maybe it was from Riku. x3 *dreams*

Have you noticed that the little sketch on the cave wall looks more like Riku then it does Kairi? Kairi just wishes it was of her, but it's not because I said it's not, and secretly it was of Riku, but the KH makers got in trouble for making a relationship between Riku and Sora so they made the one where everyone thinks that Sora and Kairi are meant for each other, but actually the origional KH where Kairi dies a horrible painfull death due to beaver attacks, is somewhere on the black market. Fwee hee hee.

...Dammit, I can't find it! Gah...>< Anywho, I think I know which fanfic you're talking about. Lol, it makes it seem like Riku's somewhat obsessive when it comes to Sora, don't you think? X3;

Fwee hee hee. I KNOW!!! I took one look at that wall and was like, "HECK NO THAT AN'T KAIRI!" XD I knew it was Riku all along...and somewhere in that'deep secret cave' Riku and Sora hide out and have 'alone time'. XD I can still dream...

He said he was searching for Kairi but she was always there so basically he only said that as a cover up to hide the fact he was stalking his best friend. Maybe he yearned for the affection Sora was giving Kairi, and the attention she got when Sora spent his time looking for her. It made Riku obsessed and so if he could not have the real thing maybe a mirrored image could sooth his aching heart...its so sad...

X3 Exactly... Despite outward appearances, Riku is a very insecure person. While in the game we're led to believe that Sora relies on Riku, it's actually the other way around--Riku craves Sora's attention just as much as Sora admires Riku's physical strength.

Yeah - I noticed that the drawing looks a LOT more like Riku too. Also, I have to agree - Riku is very insecure... Which is probably part of why he "obsessed" over Kairi in the game - One word: DENILE.

Wait, obsessed with Kairi? I got the impression that Sora was the one he was obsessed with. Or do you mean that he was obsessed with finding Kairi because he wanted to use her to lure Sora to him? o_O *confused*

Ok, I'll rephrase that.
Very frequently, people who are in denile about their sexual orientations try to crush/ignore/denie it by going out with people of the "correct" sex. Sometimes, it can even turn into obbsession - with self-delusion, stalking... And often, the person who's in denile becomes very mean/avoids the person they actually like.
