...ingrates stare

You know, we COULD just redirect the Halo fanbrats to the guild, and clean up the VGD. It's actually a pretty good idea. (we tried this with the Zelda subforum people too--not sure how successful it was though, since I haven't been great about searching throught the VGD recently...)

I know what you mean. I was just replying to the fact he was calling us "ingrates" for not bothering to join.

Like I said above:

1. Most of us Paladins DISLIKE Halo. Or find it overrated. We won't be tossing our gold away for stuff we hate.

2. We're posting now, aren't we?

3. You're a Paladin? Are you sure? Not to pick at you or anything, but the way you act, spell, speak.. well. It leads me to think that if anything, you're not.. really.. good, in arguments. AT ALL. Which would mean you wouldn't be such a very good Paladin..

Well, first, I'm answering on the basis that he called us ingrates to start with for the sheer fact that most of us, or at least, those who watch the forums, didn't show instantaneous concern over his guild business. I tend to counter fire with fire, myself, and if someone insults me, although I don't use the big words, I won't try to HUG them.


It's true that I can't speak for the rest of the Paladins-- but I've met enough of them, or at least, talked to, to know that Halo is, declared by a majority, overrated. I said hate-- my mistake. I didn't mean to put it that way, but it's the only word I found at the time. Dislike is more like it. I'm not saying it's a bad game-- I'm saying the fanboys make it look bad, and as such, people grow tired of hearing about it. And I grew tired to the point of hating the game.


I'm aware. Then again, I could point to Kedian's sig (which says Newb Haterz, or something along those lines, the font hurts my eyes) pointing to this guild. Sure, it's a big joke, but it doesn't specifically protect the fact that we teach and don't flame, does it?

Also, I insist that a good Paladin /should/ be able to defend himself in an argument. Sure, you don't need to WIN. But if you do, and that's assuming you do it WITHOUT flaming, spamming or insulting, then you prove that you know what you're talking about-- and a VideoGame Paladin should know what he's talking about-- right?


I don't see any flaws in your logic. You're following rules and guidelines, which I tend not to follow because they put a limit on how far I can go. But so far, I've respect the VGP's guidelines.

Are you blind enough to shoot me instead of shooting the one who started this by calling us all ingrates? Or who's almost going "omg donate u nebs" because a good ammount of us aren't interested in his guild?

Eh, my post went poof so here's the stupidly short version.

My sig is a joke. Most people that have seen me post before will know that unless they only recognize my paper bag sexx0rness. If Darc asks me to remove it because he thinks it's an attack on the guild or because it gives people the wrong image of the guild I will remove it, but until then or until I get fed up of pretending to be a n00b/moron (not a newbie) I will be keeping it.

I just thought I'd post something seeing as I've seen quite a few posts about my sig. I don't have a problem with anyone in the guild though so I fail to see why you posted that last bit, which seems a bit hostile, unless it wasn't directed at me.
