Buruomidu stalked through the underbrush, looking about himself in slight annoyance. He had finally ditched the shadow... well, that's he called the young female that had followed him around for so long. He didn't know when he'd be able to have his peace and quiet again. Little did he know he was heading strait for a long lost friend...

Omi frowned, still gazing about himself shiftily. He had been expecting some one to sneak up on him from the sides, so he had not been paying attention to what was right in front of him. All of it happened in less than a couple moments really. Omi felt a presence in the area but wasn't sure where, and then suddenly he felt something run right into him. With an agitated growl, Omi sprung backwards and scowled at the being before him. It was an elder in elf form, an interesting looking fellow with an armful of apples, and no particularly threatening, but... it was a surprise never the less, and Omi did not like surprises. He stood there, frowning at the other individual, waiting for an explanation as to why he had so rudely ran into him.

Omi frowned and narrowed his eyes suspiciously as this strange new elder. He seemed vaguely familiar, but Omi did not like how this guy knew his name, "I don't believe we are acquainted..." He paused and stepped back a little so that he could take in the appearance of this male completely. Opening his mouth slightly, Omi took a deep breath bringing the scent of the other elder to the roof of his mouth. It reminded him of his childhood, though it was a smell he had only smelt for a short part of his life. Running his claws through the ground, it took Omi a little while longer for him to uncover the memories he needed. When he became an elder, Omi had buried all of his memories from his younger, weaker, days. But down it came back to him, like the haunting of an old ghost, "Appoloin? Is that you...?"

Omi rolled his eyes and stared down at his brother, not sure what he was supposed to feel at that moment. "Well of course I remember you dolt... how could anyone else look even close to ridiculous as you?" Omi spouted with a playful smile on his face. He bent down and it looked for a moment as though he was going to press his muzzle loving against Appo's face, but with a quick swoop, Omi shot out his tongue and slurped up one of his brother's apples with a crunch. He eyed Appoloin curiously and chuckled to himself as he munched on the apple. After a few chews, Omi swallowed the sweet fruit and smacked his lips contentedly. "How goes it brother? Why are you walking around on those silly two legs of yours...?"

Omi threw his head back and laughed heartily before scoffing, "What?! Walk around like that?! All hairless and pink, no claws and no tail? You look ridiculous!" He smiled and winked, making sure his brother knew he had no intentions of insulting him. Omi usually wasn't nice to others, but his brother was an exception. "And why should I want to carry apples without harming them? I'd just eat them on the spot!" He shook his head and sighed, "But I guess it is not important, even though you do look ridiculous... What have you been up to brother? I see you are an elder as well now, what is your power? I'm really quite curious..."

Omi frowned and stepped backwards, his brother was nothing like him. When they were younger, he just sort of ignored the differences and loved his brother because Apo had been his only sibling. But, now it seems, the as they got older the differences just grew more and more. Omi shuffled his paws and, grudgingly, replied, "Ah...! A mate and pups! Well then, you have been busy haven't you..." The purple elder twitched internally at the thought of pups; oh how he hated them, the annoying little creatures. He barely remembered the long time ago when he had fallen for a girl called Natsu, because more important things arose in his life over time. He no longer recalled any of the fun times he had with that little female, in fact, he preferred not to remember his childhood at all. And now, here he was with his brother, who was like a ghost from the past. He shook his head roughly and pushed away all those angry thoughts and continued, "Why... Apo! Do you even at least know in which domain you reside?"

(( I talked it out with Ami, and since Omi/Apo were born before the "domain must be like the parents" rule... she ok'ed Omi to be water... XP just in case you were confused... ))

Omi tilted his head back and laughed, he couldn't help it, his brother's habits were just so peculiar! He took a couple deep breaths before adding, "You were... following birds?! Why in the world would you do that! No no... don't answer. I would not understand even if you wrote an entire book on the subject..." He shook his head and sighed, raising his eyebrows a bit, thinking about all the ridiculous things his brother liked. But, they were just different, it wasn't necessarily Apo's fault that they ended up like their parents, exact opposites.

But he then tilted his head curiously and replied, "How... how can you not know what your domain is? It is a part of you, a part of your soul. That's like thinking you are a deer and not a dragonfly, or not knowing why you like this girl you've matted with... I am in the water domain, I had known that since adulthood! I only learned that I have an affinity towards ice when I became a full blown elder... Really, how can you stand not knowing a whole part of yourself?"
