User ImageAzubahiel sat on a bench near the entrance of the mall, silently watching the people go by as she waited for the others to get here. This was supposed to be sort of girls' outing, and to be honest, she didn't see the point in it. It sounded fun, though, even if she had no idea what exactly it was.

She tugged at the hem of the yellow and teal-striped dress she was wearing, fidgeting a bit. Mother had dropped her off about ten minutes ago.... Was she too early? Too late? She bit down on her lower lip lightly, glancing around the main hall and searching for a familiar face. She hoped she had screwed up already... She slumped a bit, hiding her nervous expression behind her scarf.

Adhara's face was bright and very obviously excited as s11he wrangled up the kids who were lurking throughout her house, along with the recently-grown and needing-of-clothes Lironax, her daughter, and Adelle's newest friend, and adorable Gluttony / Liberality boy named Fitzroy. Looking over the rest of the house quickly to make sure that everything was in place, the teen panicked for a moment before she realized that Aludra was currently at his... friend[?] Vincent's house for the time-being. She smiled at her rag-tag crew of kids, Adelle who was currently feeding the remainder of a roast chicken they'd shared earlier, bones and all, to Fitzroy's stomach-mouth.

Adhara chuckled a bit, smiling at the group of them. "So Fitzroy, you take hold of Lira's hand, and Adelle, you're going to walk with me, alright?" she told the kids, Adelle face brightening as she dropped the chicken, making Adhi wince, and then took her mother's hand, bouncing up and down and flapping her wings happily. She made sure that the door was locked and that Fitzroy was behaving for her green-dressed friend, before the group of four started the short walk to the bus stop.

Lironax watched his friend collect all of the smaller children with a small smile. Adhara had become extremely excited as of late, and was leading them all to meet some girl named Azubahiel. Apparently it was someone very important to her. Adjusting the slightly-too-small green dress self-consciously, he took hold of the small Gluttony / Liberality child, smiling warmly at him. He was certainly a cute little thing.

Fitzroy smiled in return, showing his sharp set of teeth. His three fingers were intertwined awkwardly with this Lira's hand, but he didn't mind; that happened with everybody. He let himself be led by the older child, looking around at the world passing them by, hopefully for something to eat. Lucky for him, a rose bush poked its head around the corner, and he was able to grasp a handful of petals as they walked by, eagerly stuffing them into his mouth.

Lironax blinked in mild surprise at the antics of the smaller boy, and raised an eyebrow. "Um.. are you sure you should be eating that, Fitzroy?"

The speckled child looked up at the Lust spawn, then smiled widely, a few petals falling through his teeth. "Dun worry, Lira! I can eat most anyfings." He turned and called to his new friend, who was walking a little ways ahead with her pretty mommy. "That's right, huh, Adelle? I can eats most stuffs, huh?"

"That's wiiigh- I mean, dat's riiiight," Adelle replied, giggling at herself and her mispronunciations and flapping her metallic wings happily, lifting herself a couple inches off the ground with the movement and making her squeal happily. If there was anything that she wanted to do at this point in her life, it would be to fly with those awkward wings of her's, but she wasn't completely sure that was going to happen. As would have been expected by Adhara from the very beginning of their trip, Adelle released her hand to skip back to Lironax and Fitzroy, where she quickly grabbed onto Lira's hand, just in time for the four of them to make their way onto the bus, each one dropping a bus token in the coin slot.

Adelle took a seat between her mother and Fitzroy, having pulled the other toddler from around Lironax, so that the two little ones were now sandwiched between their older counterparts. The bus ride didn't seem to take very long, at least, not to the ever-so-close mall, at which point the four linked by hands in a chain, Adhara in the lead, followed by Adelle, then Fitzroy, and finally Lironax, who could make sure that no one was going to lag too far behind. Finally approaching the building, Adhara gasped happily when she noted that her friend was wearing the dress she'd made for her, and she hopped forward, breaking the chain and hugging 'Zuba about the shoulders, her old energy back since she'd given birth.

"'Zuba! It's so good to see you again," she said excitedly, amber eyes bright as she gestured back toward the three others, Adelle looking up with big brown eyes, her metal wings flapping a few times curiously. "I've brought quite a crew with me today, as you can see," she noted, chuckling a bit, gesturing to each child as she named them off. "This is Lironax, my soon-to-be step-sister, and Adelle, my precious little baby girl, and last of all is Fitzroy, who is actually one of Ady's first really close friends." She giggled a bit more, obviously nervous in a very childish fashion. "Everyone, this is Azubahiel, one of my first and still-closest friends."

User Image 'Zuba smiled, hugging her right back. "'S good to see, too." she said softly, chuckling once. It was a bit awkward having to look up at her friend; look who grew again. She looked at the people, giving each one a shy smile and small wave. She hadn't expected this many people! If she would have known, she would have worn her hoodie, or atleast carried it around like a security blanket of sorts.

"'S nice to meet all." she murmured quietly, her voice barely above a whisper as she performed an odd gesture, something between a bow and a curtsy. She glanced at each person again, trying to commit both name and face to memory. Adelle would be easy to remember; she was Adhara's baby, after all, and looked like her. Lironax was the one with the pretty tentacle and wing (lucky winged peoples), and she could probably remember Fitzroy since he reminded her of Lori. Hm, maybe this wouldn't be so hard, after all.

It may have been awkward for 'Zuba to be looking up at the teen mother, but it made Adhara extremely awkward to be crushing on Azubahiel, who was now younger than Adhara was - they were the same ages that Adhi had been when she had gotten pregnant in the first place. And I'll tell you, that only made the lust girl feel even more uncomfortable. Not that she blamed Adriel or anything, it just felt a little... weird. She understood why he'd panicked so bad now, at least. Thankfully, at least she was inept at impregnating females.

...or so she hoped. You never really knew with the lust DNA and all.

Adhara stood by as all the children greeted her friend back, a bit amused by how many of them there really were, as though she hadn't completely realized it up until now. Five people on this little shopping trip; four girls and one little boy who was likely going to only be spending time with her daughter. Not that that was a bad thing, of course. It was nice that she was able to make friends that were boys without thinking that it was gross like some children her age would.

Lironax smiled at Azubahiel warmly, waving gently at her. He didn't miss the way that she talked; very much like Aludra did, it was. That, of course, brought a few still-painful memories back, but the spawn did his best to keep them inside. After all, it would be rude to press his own issues on Adhi's pretty friend. His tentacle reached shyly towards the split spawn as Lir greeted 'Zuba. "It's nice to meet you too, Azubahiel. I like your name," he said with a smile. It was true; it was especially fun to say. /Azuuubahiel/, he thought to himself and smiled.

Fitzory gaped openly at the Envy/Humility child, stricken by how neat her skin was. It was all... halfsy! One side was all gray and speckly-lookin' - but not like his speckles - and the other side was all paleish and had a goldy-gold wing comin' out of her head! He giggled to himself and smiled, waving shyly at the pretty girl before turning towards Adelle in excitement. "Gosh, she's rull preddy, huh Adewwe?"

Adelle nodded in wholehearted agreement, wiggling a bit as her dress swished about her knees. "You are reeeaaally pretty, 'Zubahiiiel," Adelle agreed, her tiny right tentacle stretching out toward the older girl before she tipped her head, eyes narrowing in sudden curiosity. She took a step forward and asked a question that made her mother's face turn bright pink.

"So if Mama likes you, that makes you kinda like my other Mama, doesn't it?"

The little group of people definitely made 'Zuba feel nervous. She was now self-conscious of every little movement she made; every little thing she said. She was trying so hard not mess up and to be normal-ish. After all, she didn't want to go and embarrass them in the mall infront of everyone.

'Zuba smiled lightly, shifting her weight a bit. "Thanks....'s nothing special, though." she said, shaking her head a bit. Why did people always feel the need to compliment her when there was nothing to compliment? Oh well, they all seemed nice enough, so she pushed the mild feeling of annoyance to the back of her mind.

She waved back to the little boy before rubbing the back of her head, feeling a bit flustered. She was not used to so many people at once complimenting her, let alone calling her pretty. It was....odd.

"Ah...thanks." she said, smiling a little at Adelle. She wanted to correct the child, but past experience told her that it would all be in vain. People generally didn't see her they way she saw herself. Color flooded her face as the little girl's question hit her ears. She opened her mouth as if to answer, then closed it, utterly speechless. She wasn't sure how to answer.
