Welcome to the training grounds!
This area is where I, or my Vice Captain will train young padawans! Er... shinigami.
This area is large, compared to most training grounds, but most likely smaller than Squad 11's. There is one enterance to this area, and that is on the Northern most wall. On the wall directly opposing that (south >w> ) is a row of dummies, and targets. What ever could they be for? On the Eastern most side, is a sharp incline, with many platforms and rocks jutting out of the side, meant for endurance. On the Western most side, is a large pond looking thing. This is simply put here to help keep everyone cool (not meant for swimming, just for drinks, and other minor things like that) down after a long day of training. It can also be used for those who have water based zanpakutos, just like the platforms can be used.
All in all, the training grounds are pretty snazzy. But please, dont go around randomly breaking things. Anything you damage you will be repairing or paying for, whether with money or manual labor is up to Raine.
Also, just so everyone knows, these are training grounds, which means no killing off eachother! Oh and of course, follow all the other rules and stuff. :3

Raine walked into the training area, gazing around slowly. Her eyes grazed over the pool of water, then over the rock wall, then to the dummies. She was going to use those one day. For now they were just there to make the place look efficient.
Whistling a tune to herself, Raine made her way to the middle of the field and sat down cross legged. She pulled her sheath and sat it across her legs and stretched her arms out. She had decided to wear her usual tights and top, but put her captains cloak on. She wanted to be comfortable when she was training. Sitting there, she waited for her subordinate to come in.

Zakuro walked into the training area; he donned his signature boredom look. His eyes scanned the grounds, effectively noting where everything was with a simple glance. He knew why he was here and knew to use surroundings to his advantage.
Yawning a deep yawn, Zakuro held his hands inside his shihakusho. His Zanpakuto hung vertically from his back while occasionally banging against. Zakuro walked up to his Captain and respectfully bowed. "How are you today, Taichou?" It was basic manners, Zakuro believed, to greet captains and ask how their doing.

Raine waved off Zakuro's bow in an annoyed manner. "Dont bow to me. It's just us." she said with a smile. "I'm doing pretty good. I'm sure you're doing the same?" she questioned and pointed her finger towards the bored looking man.
"Byakurai." she said as the blast of energy left her finger and headed straight towards her Vice. She was going to test his speed first. While being rather small, this byakurai was faster than normal.
Jumping up, Raine shunpoed a few feet away and unsheathed her zanpakutou, resting it on her shoulder lightly. "Are you ready for some fun Zakuro-kun?" she questioned and tossed her sheath behind her. She wasnt going to need it.

Zakuro laughed at her annoyed remark. "Sorry, its a habit I have. Yeah but Im fine." He folded his arms in a sorta aloof manner. I guess shes gonna start it off. He thought to himself.
As the Byakurai left his captain's finger, something triggered a reaction in his feet. Zakuro then slide to the left, skillfully avoiding the bolt while drawing his sword. Ambidextrous is nature; Zakuro held the zanpakuto is left hand and the sheath in the right. However, if he saw it was ineffective then he'd temporarily discard it.
"Ready when you are, Taicho."

So his speed is alright for now.. Raine thought to herself before shunpoeing behind Zakuro, aiming a slash at his back. She was going to see how well he could defend himself from high speed attacks, no matter how weak they were. That meant starting with weak things, and holding back her urge to let loose.
Before she had moved, Raine noticed how he held his sheath and zanpakutou. He fought left handed, it seemed. She always hated fighting left handed people. Ambidextrous ones were even worse with their tricks.

Heh, this'll be interesting.. Zakuro thought to himself as his captain made her next move. As she shunpoed behind him, he already figured out the attack. A simple slash huh, she's starting out weak. Without moving, Zakuro parried using the sheath and lunged backwards with fierce speed. This would either impale his captain or force her to retreat for a second. If she did so he would spin around and make his next move.

Smiling, Raine watched as her slash was parried. She was sure that if she had used Latigo, he wouldnt be able to simply push her back like he did this time though.
Jumping back a few feet, Raine swiped her zanpakutou in a slashing motion in front of her. Before she started the attack, she focused reiatsu into the blade, then released it with ease. "Latigo," she said as the wave of golden reiatsu left her blade and headed towards he Vice. Shunpoeing so that she could face him, Raine let loose another latigo, still smiling.

Zakuro grinned as the leaped backwards. As she fired Latigo, Zakuro thought about using his attack of the same structure. He figured that it had a chance of being overpowered by her attack.
Watching as both attacks came, Zakuro lips started to move in a whisper. "Bakudo#21 Sekienton." Zakuro released a large cloud of red smoke. He then shunpoed into the air and pointed his sheath hand towards his Captain. "Hado#33 Shakkaho." He fired a slightly larger than normal fireball at her position. Of course he couldn't see in the smoke, but he excelled at locking onto reiatsu signatures, especially large ones such as Raine-Taicho.

"Latigo!" Raine yelled immediatly as she saw the red smoke began to cover the two's small area. She aimed it in a semi circle around herself, making most of the smoke disappear as the energy burst threw it. She wasnt going to try fighting blind, even if she could just follow his spiritual pressure and fire off attacks.
Watching Zakuro closely, she saw as he brought his sheath holding hand outwards and fired off a blast. Instead of blocking it with a different kido, Raine jumped to the side and moved in closer to the man. Holding her zanpakutou hilt down in front of her, Raine whispered, "Hado 58 Tenran." and watched as the large tornado like blast was sent towards Zakuro. While being slower than his previous attacks, it covered a vast area, making it harder to dodge. She also infused a large amount of her reiatsu into it, making it harder to just cut threw with a different kido.

Zakuro laughed in an astounded manner. He thought she'd fight inside the fog veil, much to his surprise. Zakuro held up both his zanpakuto and sheath hand and flashstepped a bit away from the tornado.
He then began chanting,"Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens." Zakuro drew his hands together and released a powerful stream of blue fire. "Hado#63, Soren Soukatsui." If this didn't completely collide with the tornado then hopefully it'd slow down enough for him to dodge it.
[ooc: Isn't Haien the purple flame kido and Tenran (5 cool the tornado one? I think...]

[[did i paste the wrong one? damn. sorry >.>]]
Raine smiled as she watched Zakuro fire the Soren Soukatsui. So he knew higher kidou than her. That was interesting. Letting the kido enter the tornado, Raine waited till it was almost fully engulfed in it to send another wave of reiatsu into the tornado, slowing the blast down and cutting down its power. With a slash of her blade, Raine destroyed both kido's, creating dust and lights. It looked like an odd version of fireworks really.
Shunpoing forward, Raine got close to Zakuro. In the back of her mind, she knew it could be a bad idea since he seemed to be rather good at kido, but she didnt think he could dish out anything too powerful. At least not yet.
Bringing her blade down, she aimed to use her own strength and blunt force to either make him retreat, or block. She already had multiple ideas going threw her brain if he did block, or retreat.

Zakuro's brain began exercising another strategy as Raine severed both kidous, resulting in flash lightshow. He was truly awestruck by her sheer strength; this led him to wonder why she wasn't Captain of the 11th Division.
As Raine moved in to attack, Zakuro readied himself for a powerful slash. When it came down, Zakuro brought his own blade upward. Fully well knowing that she'd overpower him, Zakuro swung the sheath vertically. He then whispered,"Hainawa." As the sheath approached Raine, a yellow rope of reiatsu formed itself and crawled from the sheath to restrict her arms. So even if she dodged the diversion, then she had the chance of being constricted by the rope.

"You look so suprised Zakuro-kun." Raine said in a cheery tone as he blocked her attack. As soon as their blades touched, Raine pushed downwards, hoping to bend his arm at an odd angle. Smiling, Raine began to come up with more ways to overpower Zakuro.
Seeing the crawling rope come forward, Raine jumped back, but not before adding a little extra force towards their connected swords. From where she stood, she said, "Shitotsu Sansen." in a soft tone, then moved her left hand in the triangular pattern. If the kido hit, Zakuro would be pinned to the nearest wall. While easy to break out of for the most part, he would probably be breathless for a few seconds.

"Heh, only a little bit surprised, Captain." Zakuro smiled back as she attempted at bending his arm. He then thought to himself, kido is my central point strategy, lets see what I can really do with it.
As the Shitotsu Sansen approached, Zakuro slid backwards and drew a circle in front of him. He whispered the word, "Enkosen," and with it a solid shield of reiatsu formed to block the triangular needles. Zakuro made sure he had put enough Spiritual Pressure into the technique to completely fend off the pinning kido. As both collided and were destroyed, Zakuro pointed his finger at his captain. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a Spinning Wheel. With light, divide this into six." Six Bars of Light formed around Raine and would rendered her immobile. Zakuro shunpoed behind Raine. Even though this kido would last for a brief while, Raine-Taicho can't move a single part of her body. He sent horizontal slash to her back.
