in some ways i doubt it would make a very good movie, unless they rescripted a little so it had more story to it.

Two words: No. Way.
Really, how many movies that has been based on a game has really been good? Not that many.
And I don't really think this would make that great of an movie. The story is long, and to fit it into one and a half hour or two hours is pretty hard.
Now I'd go see it anyways, but I doubt that it'd be any good.
If they made a book, I'd buy it right away.
Since books can be how long they want and they can fit in every little detail.

It might, if they hade the creator make it and using both Drakengard 1 and 2 it would have to capability to make a good movie.

I don't think they could do a decent movie with BOTH games, or even just one without cutting a few things. They'd have to cut things anyway for the change in medium.
What if they made a prequel movie? Like what about one of when Furiae was chosen to be the Goddess or when Manah was abandoned and how she became the Priestess of the Cult?

I don't think they would have to make it too long. Shorten/remove some of the battles (have Caim's army actually do stuff instead of it just being him), you don't even have to do much backstory for the other characters (or include them at all) since you don't get much but can still draw conclusions. If anything, this would be a pretty disturbing movie. But that's ok.

[It has been awhile since i have been here. @_@;;] They probally would ruin it. They seem to do that to video games movies. Super Mario Bros. and now they ruined Dead or Alive.
