Well, first of all, Welcome to my Quest Thread! n.n
Since the art in this shop is AMAZING, the people here are really nice and because I love to RP I decided it was a good idea to start questing for a Raevan
(that, and questing is fun xP)
I’ll drop my ideas here from time to time and if you could stop by and make a critique it would be really appreciated.

NAME : Nerina "Nina" Moretti a.k.a The Crimson Witch
GENDER : Female
AGE : 19
OCCUPATION : Doll Maker and witch
RACE : Human /Witch
LIKES : Candies and everything sugary, piano and violin, animals, art, porcelain dolls and cold stormy weather.
DISLIKES: Those who are mean to others, people who mistreat animals, back stabbing, chains and those who judge her.
LOOKS : She stands at 5’5 and 132 lbs., with long dark brown hair, her hairstyle how ever is ever changing, deep teal eyes and fair skin. Her clothing style tends to change everyday as it depends on what mood she is that morning, and she only wears clothes made by her self. Both her ears are pierced as well as her tongue but that’s not relevant. Also, she is a chain smoker, the only time you’ll see her with out a cigarette is when she is sleeping, and she is insomniac so that doesn’t happen frequently.
PERSONALITY: Nina is a quite shy and since she finds quite difficult to trust others she tends to keep to herself. Nina spends most of her time with her dolls, in her garden, painting, reading, baking or playing with her pets leaving little time for interacting with others, which has lead for her to be a little socially awkward. How ever, if you give her some time she’ll get used to you and will open up bit by bit. Despite being shy and often afraid of others, Nina loves listening to her friends and clients troubles and giving them advice, she also loves looking up after those she loes; she also loves doing tarot readings to her friends.

--working on it--  Melted Glass Well, well...what is this? it seems like a thunder liquefied the sand it hit and turned it into glass. Nothing strange about that..right? Well, years have passed by since that happened and even thought it has cooled down it refuses to harden! I wonder what could happen it i touch it.... Living [size=9](breathing)[/size]Porcelain

--working on it!-- Quetzal (Resplendent Quetzal)The Resplendent Quetzal was considered divine, associated with the "snake god", Quetzalcoatl by Pre-Columbian Meso-Americaan civilizations. Their iridescent green tail feathers, symbols for spring plant growth, were venerated by the ancient Aztecs and Mayas, who viewed the quetzal as the "god of the air" and as a symbol of goodness and light. Mesoamerican rulers and some nobility of other ranks wore headdresses made from quetzal feathers, symbolically connecting them to Quetzalcoatl. Since it was a crime to kill a quetzal, the bird was simply captured, its long tail feathers plucked, and was set free. Quetzalcoatl was the creator god and god of wind, often depicted with grey hair. In several Mesoamerican languages, the term for quetzal can also mean precious, sacred, or erected.

owo [pokes the thread] <3 Not sure if I'm worthy of actually critiquing someone's thread or not, but I figure why noottt.
I like what you have going so far. I really like your essence, and it's clever how you found a way to make it occur in nature. I've been at odds with myself in the past, trying to find a way to make glass work as an essence, but I couldn't come up with anything. Thankfully, I managed to find other ideas. xD;
I'd be careful about your bird soul, only because Kyou has asked to try to avoid them, if possible, for the time being, due to how many there are already. Owl, eagle, Roc... It's good that you have another soul idea, just in case.
I'd love to see an actual Raevan concept, too! Are you going for a semi-custom? A full custom? I want to see your ideas. <3 It helps others to understand where you're coming from when you choose an essence and soul if we can see a concept, because it's essentially you bringing it all together. As a tip, be sure to explain why you've chosen your essence/soul and paired them, because if you were to try for a custom/bribe, Kyou will want to be able to see how and why they will work together. Seeing a clear connection will make the pair seem more believable. At least, this has been my experience.
You've got a good start, now keep going! : D I'll stop by later to see what else you've come up with. I hope this was helpful!

I know I've talked to you before about your quest, so you know what I said about your souls already. I think your essences are new though because I don't remember them. But yeah, your Melted Glass is such an interesting idea! I remember when I was questing I had thought about doing something with glass too, but was never able to come up with a good idea for it. But I think this one works well. Though I like it, I'm curious as to what your Bleeding Obsidian will be as well. Keep on working your ideas hon, you're on the right track. mrgreen

eheheh aww thank you both guys!!!!
i'm so glad that you took soe time to read the few ideas i've posted..i need to rewrite a few bits but i'm glad you liked my ideas!! n.n
i got the glass idea on my trip to cancun xD there was a thunderstorm and i asked my dad what happened if one hit the sand and he told me that's how natural glass was made..so..thank you thunderstorm in cancun for the idea!! xP
as for the Bird soul...i know it might be difficult to get one since there are many birds already but...i've got my fingers crossed..maybe Kyou would like the idea? who knows..if not that's why i have the other soul there n.n
oh and for the raevan concept..i was going to work on that tonight! n.n
