I'm not working right now as well. I'm 25 and this is my second child. My husband is making around 250 a week and I'm on unemployment while it lasts. It's tough, we didn't plan this, but it can be done.

Look into Wic if you haven't already. They can help with food for you and the baby. I'm waiting on my Medicare paperwork and they also can assist with income in many states, as well as help you with living space.

It's scary when you don't have a "plan" but there is help out there.

Congrats on the baby and take care! heart

I would definately look into WIC, Pregnancy Medicaide [ASAP], TANF, and SNAP [Foodstamps]. In fact, I would as soon as possible. I don't know where you live, but you might want to see if there is a program called Healthy Families where you live. It provides great resources for places to live, as well as education.

Its hard having a baby at 18, I know. I'll be 19 this August and my daughter is currently 7 months old.
