The lesser of two awkwards. A vampire academy, as apposed to a human academy. Here, nobody is stumbling around. Here, people could jump off buildings if they so choose, and land on their feet. The academy rules are simple, Listen.
BACKGROUND
The school has been around for centuries. Run by pure-blood vampires. But quite recently, a law was passed in the underworld district. "Any academy for a certain race, must be an academy for others as well" Scarlett Academy was forced to oblige, opening for all walks of life.

Past: Dimitri has worked for the Devil for as long as she can remember, because he thinks she has potential, since only she can has the powers she has. She gets sent on a mission with a young fellow named Luce. They fall in love and decide to go back to the world and start over in hiding.

Past: Her Uncle shipped her here to keep her safe. When she was younger, her parents used to beat her. They never had a good reason, only that they blame Anastasia for the death of their beloved son, Nathan. He had died in a car accident at the age of 17. Anastasia was only 13. The man who had hit Nathan was a vampire. He soon came after Anastasia and attacked her. He bit her, and turned her into a vampire. About a month ago, her Uncle had found out about what was going on at her house. So, he thought it would be best to send her here.

Past: Luce can't remember anything before he started working for the devil. The devil kept him by his side, as well as Dimitri, but always kept them apart, for fear of them taking over. Nobody else can do what Luce does either. Luce has potential as well. One day the devil got tired of working so hard to keep the two apart, and just sent them on a mission together. They bonded and fell in love and moved their work to the world and stayed out in hiding, only leaving when the devil called.

Chi was a young girl in search of love. She thought she found it many times until once, she did. At least, the prospect of love. She fell in love with a vampire. Not unlike the thought of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, of the popular Twilight Series. But, don't get me wrong her story is nothing like the fictional story of true love. No, her story is much worse. You see the vampire never loved her back. Of Course he bit her, after many years of getting what he wanted. But, he didn't stay. So here is a girl with no sense of what to do, a new born vampire. She is luckily adopted by a vampire "family" and is sent to a school that will help her. She learned well and is no longer tempted by human blood. She came home and again her "family" sends her off to school. This is that school. It was there she met Ethan. Ethan was the man who changed her. He, seeing her so strong and healthy, asked for her forgiveness. Chi refused to talk to him for a long period of time. Finally she was forced to by their teacher. After working together for a long time, Chi finally relented and they became friends again. As time progressed Chi and Ethan became a couple once again. A few years later, he was staked. Chi killed the hunter and held Ethan as he took his last breath. She swore not to fall in love again, but she knew that she will. Just recently she has let go of her vow and has begun to look for a mate.

Dimitri watched Luce climb out of his car in the parking lot at Scarlett. He walked over to her and put his arm on her waist and wandered the halls until they came upon dorm Eight. They both dropped their bags and looked around. Luce dropped his arm and went wandering. Dimitri looked after him longingly, then realized how soap opera that sounded and followed. Luce chuckled and walked back to the door. He closed and locked it, then put his hand in her's and they walked back to the bedroom to make claim to the two beds.

Out of the corner of her eye Dimitri saw a girl. She could sense the girl wanted to be left alone and kept walking.
Luce saw Dimitri look away and turned, but saw nothing. He held Dimitri tighter and ignored that creepy feeling he now had. "I work for the devil and yet, IU still manage getting freaked out in oddly empty halls." He whispered softly.

Luce smiled as Dimitri twirled in front of him. Right in front of her was a door. Luce tried to open the door, pulling hard on the giant rusted lock. He groaned in frustration. Then looked around slowly for watching eyes, seeing only Dimitri. He turned back to the lock and pulled harder. The lock refused to budge. Dimitri pushed Luce aside gently and she tried the lock, now curious herself. She couldn't open it. She turned back to Luce, smiling. "You aren't supposed to do that Dimitri" Luce scolded. She turned back to the lock and raised her hand to hover over the lock. She began murmuring an incantation, hoping nobody could hear. She heard the lock gently click and fall from the chain hanging around the door. She unwrapped the chain with another incantation. Then pulled the door open,attempting to lessen the creak with yet another barely audible incantation. She stepped inside carefully, leaving the door open. Luce followed, noting the mystery hall was dark. He held onto Dimitri at her waist, refusing to let her get too far ahead. And away they wandered, carelessly leaving the door open.

Suddenly Dimitri sensed someone following them. She looked behind her to see the same girl she had seen earlier. She smiled slightly, too slightly for Luce to notice. She muttered another incantation, in attempt to salvage the darkness by closing the door.

Luce noticed Dimitri look back and heard the incantation, but chose not to look back. "So who are you looking at?" He murmured quietly. He decided to turn around and saw a girl.
