Forces beyond my control have beckoned me to share a boon with you all. Which I don't particularly mind- you're all my children, after all, aren't you? <3

I've received quite the odd note- perhaps you all will make more sense of it than I will. Needn't you mind.

Quote:
Those who have seen Teifi act as she does may have noticed some peculiar traits in her behavior. Now, the question for the observant is this: Do you all know who inspired the character's creator to make her act the way she does? Note that she does not act EXACTLY as they do- just nuances that add to her 'quirks'.

Those who get both right will receive Tiny Pixie Wings in which to escape our most estranged but dedicated mother. Post the answers here- Teifi will not respond affirmatively unless both are right!

The hints are as follows:

1. A wing, a feather, a baby lost, a rabbit she thought her prey would seek. Scales and slithers, through tunnels long, through a mind that held more than it should have; a sibling or another self? You may find her lurking in your bookshelf. Who is she?

2. A woman was a bribe, she thought, a valuable weight to use- a triumphant use, but a victory lost, all to a stake at sea. See to a magical film to try to find this sorceress. Who is this?

...I lied, dear, I will post.

Fairly close on both accounts.

Think of more along the lines of media, dear- books, movies, and such. Steer away from mythology.

One is correct. The other is not.

You may ask one question about either of the riddles (excluding author and/or title of the movie/book), and I will do my best to answer.

Can I ask a question? I just want to know if it's very likely that any given person will be familiar with either the book or the movie?

The author of the book is a remarkable artist and writer whose work is renowned all around the world- especially in the US and Japan. Look in the author's volumes for one of the world's first religious murderers, and you will find the author behind the first clue.

._. I have no idea. But I have got a bit of a feeling...

EDIT - Nevermind, I've kind of lost that feeling... but I'm still thinking.
