Reverse Mountain (リヴァースマウンテン, Rivaasu Maunten) is a mountain at one of the points where the four Blues meet and is one of the two known entrances to the Grand Line. This place is unique in that rivers from the Blues flow up the mountain, meet at the top, and then flow down into the Grand Line. This is due to the fact that the mountain, being a "Winter Island" using Grand Line terminology, is much colder than the surrounding sea in the Blues but not in the Grand Line. Many pirates entering the Grand Line die before they can even go up the mountain, because the hostile water currents and storms force them to crash into the mountain walls. On the rivers' borders are several gates built by an unknown hand.

The Diamondia seemed to jump in the air at the top of the current. How on earth the titanic ship had made it into the currents was anyone's guess, but it had. It landed comfortably within the down-stream and coasted out of the current's mouth at the bottom. Matsu maneuvered the unwieldy giant as if it was a canoe and brought it to rest against the shore. All the men cheered as the knowledge that they'd survived another trip up Reverse Mountain got through their heads. Matsu jumped down from the deck, his flames slowing him down as he neared the ground. An old man came walking out of the lighthouse. "Evenin' Crocus."

As the men cheered for clearing the mountain, poor Lamia once again gave hell over the side, vomiting her guts out. That had to be one of the worst thrill rides ever!
"I-I hate the Grand Line already..." she whimpered.

Matsu stepped to one side as the line of hock splattered the side of the ship and the ground beside him. "Calm down. It gets better from here. Any major changes in the hierarchy lately, Crocus?" The old man nodded, held up two fingers, and pointed with them down one of the seven paths that led away from the lighthouse. "Ah... Whiskey Peak's changed a bit, then?" The old man nodded. Matsu tuned and leaped back onto the ship. "Move out men! Whiskey Peak's our destination!" The men cheered again and prepared to set sail for the Town of Celebration. As he passed Lamia, Matsu slipped something into her hand. "An aid for your nausea, miss." The door closed on his cabin, and within a dozen seconds, perhaps, came the sound of laughter, Matsu's and Yobu's.

Looking up at her captain, now heading below deck for a laugh with Master Yobu, she looked at what he'd put into her hand. It was a small packet of motion-sickness medicine. Her expression, previously sick and angry, softened considerably. She quickly swallowed the pills, before going below deck to Master Yobu's room.
Matsu and Master Yobu were chuckling like old friends until Lamia leaned as high as she could against the door frame. She kept herself haughty, and tried to look intimidating.
"I'm still angry that you didn't warn me about that turbulent mountain," she snapped before Matsu could greet her. But with a much humbler expression, not quite smiling, she continued, "But that medicine helped. So thank you."
With her nose still stuck in the air, she stalked off to order around the cabin boys. As precise a sailor as her captain was, the deck was going to get water stained if she didn't take some action. Besides, if they were going to arrive in Whiskey Peak, it counted to have some style.

The Baron's liittle boat sailed through the current towards Reverse Mountain. He slept as the boat raced up the current, but awoke when it raced down the mountain without him. Moving his legs as quickly as he could, the Baron raced after the boat, his legs moving on top of the water. He managed to reach the boat and lift himself in just before he sank below the surface. The boat reached the end of the current and shot out into the Grand Line. The Baron checked his Log Pose. He sailed for Whiskey Peak.

A few days after she had left the Baratie had lead her to the foot of the Red Line. Minami looked in awe and the magnificent mountain all the while not taking notice to the fact that she was approaching the current. The sunny day soon gave way to clouds and rain as they approaced the enterance to the Grand line. The ship was heaved with great force as they entered the current and being dragged up the mountain. Minami quickly grabbed the steering wheel tightly as the force flunge them up. Regaining herself, Minami yelled out to everyone. "pull back the oars!! Raise the sails!! NOW!!" The roar of the wind made her voice barely audioable, but the paper clones of Minami and the summoned Oni's heard and obeyed the order and withdrawn the paddles and raise the sails.
"You oni's, keep any parts of the ship from breaking off, steer the ship and control the rudder!!" Several oni's began latching down everything that wasn't tied down. One oni grabbed the steering wheel while the other was controlling the rudder. The beating rain stinged her eyes, but she knew if she closed them they'ed crash. Speaking to soon Minami watched as the ship was turning and heading toward the edged of the cliff. "Dammit! Manman Terotero."Minami chanting a spell as quickly as she can as she ran toward the side of the ship. The Minami clones followed her and stuck out their fists to the side of the ship. "Ventus!!" A burst of wind shot out of Minami and the clones hands as it struck the side of the mountain.
The ship straightened and headed to the top of the mountain. Light broke through the clouded darkness as Minami realized that the ship was now in the air. Landing abruptly the ship sped up even faster as it raced down the mountain. The ship can down with a hard splash as the fierce river joined with the vast ocean before he. A grin came across Minami's face as she had returned to the Grand line once again.
