Peace is just the whole no fighting, always agreeing thing.
My personal definition is just sitting in my room writing songs.

The acceptance of other ,weather their a different race, gay, disabled, poor or of a different religion. That would solve so many problems and people would be happier

Peace: all people being content with the way their lives are, to the point where they can succeed without someone else getting hurt.

Peace can only exist when one's enemies are destroyed.

I believe its where there is no war, and people can except difference. race, religion, sexuality or whatever. Although not everyone agreeing with each other about everything, and people still having arguments and fights.
Personal for me, well I like reading, sitting out with the chickens and walking my dogs.

Impossible. Human Nature is such that, unless we all have literally unlimited resources, someone's going to be at war with someone else.
My idea of personal peace is some quiet music playing while I read Sherlock Holmes.

When people can finally put down their arms and settle their differences. Religion especially.
My personal peace is when everyone gets along.

My definition is people pretending to like each other and dealing with everyone elses bull crap. We hae to learn that we are never going to have peace for any decent period of time or across the entire planet but we can learn to tolerate other people and deal with everything that they do.

young_tall_lady Is it possible to have peace? That is the question In a grand view of the world, that would be a "no." Human self-interest always gets in the way. If one person's self-interest differs from another person's self-interest and these two persons' self-interests collide, then peace is ended and we have conflict of some sort. This is human nature. On a more personal scale, it is possible to have peace. It just depends on your personal preference, which is, again, focused on self-interest.
