It started off in the most... peculiar of ways. It started with a child. No, not like that. D-corp had found out about Niki's illegal research and thusly forced upon her a koala child to care for. It was only a matter of time before Nikiana and Alan were to meet up... on one of the worst days of Alan's life. His daughter had been kidnapped and he'd wrecked his car trying to find her. So Niki, concerned for the girl as well, gave him a ride as they tracked the kidnapper down. It turned out that the kidnapper was Alan's exwife, which was a shock to Niki. This stern boss of D-corp had been married?

Things calmed down and each went about their own way... until a few months later. It was Halloween and D-corp was giving out bags of treats to the kids. It was a night of fun and treats... until two guys walked in and attempted to steal files from Alan's office. Talia caught them in the act and Alan came to the rescue. Or attempted to. An explosion was set off and it was announced that Alan was dead. Nikiana found out about this when she went to drop Alaqua off for class and the building was closed. After some questioning of a tech, she learned of Alan's fate. The news hit her harder than she'd thought and it made her realize that she'd started to develop a crush on the head of the corporation. It was a rough period of time before, upon going to talk to one of Ala's teachers, the two who'd killed Alan made a reappearance in D-corp. Niki overhears a tech talking to Alan and is relieved to learn that he is alive, though shocked.

Once again, things calmed down and nothing much happened... until Niki got lost and stopped for directions. Unfortunately, she was not in the best area of town and ended up at a bar, where she ran into a rather drunk Alan. After a few amusing comments from the drunk, she ended up driving him back towards D-corp. The two got to talking and found out just how much they have in common. When Alan figured out where they were headed, he freaked and gave directions to his house. Alan made coffee for them both, but fell asleep before it was done. Niki made him nice and comfy on the couch and went to get a cup of coffee before leaving. Unfortunately, Alan mixed up the decaf and regular coffee and Niki ended up falling asleep at the kitchen table. The next morning, Alan woke up to find a sleeping woman in his house. After warming up the coffee from the night before, they got to telling math jokes like the nerds they are. Soon, they headed out to go have breakfast. A few days later, a bouquet of flowers arrived at Niki's home with a note from Alan.

Another calm period before the dragons at D-corp revolt, leaving a dragon corporation without dragons. Though most of the parents were mad that some of the children had gotten hurt, Niki knew that Alan was not to blame. Knowing that he must've felt bad about the whole ordeal, she sent a rose and note to him, hoping to cheer him up. Shortly after that, they run into each other in an elevator at D-corp and end up going out to have lunch.

Finally, Alan gathered up his courage and asked Niki out on a real date. At a real resturant. Something planned in advance and not just a chance encounter. Showing up in a limo with flowers, the night started off great. They went to a nice resturant and enjoyed a beautiful sunset with wonderful wine and food. Perhaps a little too much wine.

Strengths:
She can multi-task like whoa~
She's kind-hearted and always willing to help out.
Though it may not look like it, she's rather organized. Her method is just a... messy organization. But move that pile of papers and she'll freak. It was her filing system!
Weaknesses:
Niki puts her whole heart into pretty much everything. While this could be considered a strength, it often leaves her open to be hurt.
She's fairly stubborn.
A people-pleaser... going to the extreme of doing something she wouldn't normally like to do just to make them happy.
Fears: Someone she loves getting hurt (again in some cases...), magic (somewhat), being embarassed in public
Personality: Nikiana is a rather quiet person. She tends to speak less around those she doesn't know. However, once you get to know her, sometimes it's hard to get her to shut up. She's polite and almost always has a smile on her face.

Nicknames: "The Boss", or just Boss.

Origin: Gaia

Occupation: The top power and owner of D-corp.
Marital Status: Divorced
Clothing Style: Generally only wears suits. Even if he's off work, he'll still be wearing somethgin with a tie.

HairColor: Black, originally. White thanks to a high dosage of radiation, there's still a streak of black running through the middle, like a reverse skunk.
EyeColor:They used to be brown, but after the radiation accident, they did a surgical experimentation... so his eyes are closer related to dragon eyes, a vibrant green with a sort of unnatural dilation ability.
SkinColor: Caucasion... the skin graphs on his arms are from a sort of... recycled dragon sheddings, the corporation specilizes in dragons and dragon related uses. The use of dragon skin as replacement skingrafting was one of the many experiments undertaken due to the life or death nature of the situation. The graft covers his entire right side, and about from the elbow down of his left arm.
It worked... but it didn't work well. The skin thats grafted is easy to see, sort of an off-gray color, and in places attempts to grow faulty scales... usually around the cheek, shoulders, and the joints (elbows, wrists, knees, etc) Most of which try to grow, fail, and fall off.
This graft over his hands has also produced a slightly thicker nail growth, and slightly pointier than average... Something he keeps filed down.

Distinguishing Features: The aforementioned discolorations of his skin, eyes, and hair.

Strengths:
Alan is quick on his feet, and can come up with a solution to problems fairly quickly, one of the reasons he's gotten to the place he is in D-corp.
The majority of his strengths lie in leadership abilities, both being able to think on a "large-picture" scale, and the ability to handle people-- their problems, get them to work at their best, etc etc.
He's also a rather kind man, though you can't tell it from talking to him or looking at him... he really does care about the best for his corporation and those who work in it.
Weaknesses:
Despite this, he's still selfconcious of his own being... especially his looks. And he's been in a rather constant state of self-doubt since his wife left him.
The accident that left him paralyzed from the hips-out also caused some minor brain damage... It's lowered his IQ to average, where-as prior too he was classified as a genious. This has also delt a blow to his self-esteem, and also to his work-quality.
Lastly, and probably his worst habit... his extreme workaholism. Since his wife left, he's essentially burried himself into his work... so much so, that he has a bed in his office, and returns to his "home" roughly once a month, if that, for the past 9 years.
Personality:
Alan, overall, is a quiet and withdrawn person. At first glance, and most meetings, he comes off as a stern and serious person with little heart or care. Though deep down he's a rather caring person, but his priorities rest on his corporation's workers and the children produced there. In turn, for that sake, its work-first, feelings later. Infact, his entire life is "work first". Though past his extreme workcoholism (and alcoholism when unable to work), he's actually just a fullgrown geek. What little free time he has is spent doing math, reading science magazines, watching the sci-fi channel... and playing barbies with his little girl.
