Ginny woke up early Halloween morning, feeling slightly weird. Percy had been telling her for days that she has been looking a little pale, she managed to convince him not to take her to Madam Pomfrey, thank goodness. The other day, she found herself in a broom closet covered in chicken feathers. She couldn't remember how they got on her. She also heard that Hagrid's chickens were dead.

Ginny, kind of wondering what was going on, grabbed out the diary and wrote:
Tom,
I think I'm loosing my memory. The other night, I found myself in a broom cupboard, after curfew, with chicken feathers all over me. And then, when I got to the dorm, I found out that Hagrid's chickens are dead. Do you know any spells that could help with memory loss?

Ginny's writing disappeared and Tom's writing appeared, saying:
Ginny,
I'm sorry to say I do not know of any memory regaining spells, but if you wish to make someone loose their memory, I can help. As for the chickens, don't worry about them. I'm sure they'll amount to nothing.

Ginny, after a while, decided to head down to the Great Hall. She closed the diary, and stood up, putting the diary in her bag. She headed out of the Common Room.

Harry entered the Common Room after Hermione and took a seat.
Hermione sat across from Harry and said, "Listen, about Ginny..."
Harry looked up rather surprised. So she did like him. He knew it smiling he said, "Yeah, I know she likes me. I could sort of tell on my own."
Hermione smiled, good. She wouldn't have to explain. "So, do you like her back?"
"Yeah, I think I do," Harry admitted. She was a good looking girl after all.
"Good, now she can calm down around you," Hermione said.
"Guess I better ask her out then, shouldn't I?" Harry said.
"Yeah, you should," Hermione said.
"Okay, I will at lunch," Harry said.
"Good, we better go to Charms, we have that next," Hermione said.
"Yeah, okay." Harry got up and followed Hermione to Charms.

Ginny rushed into the Common Room, found a seat in a hard to see corner, and burst out crying. Harry would never like her anymore, she just knew it.

Harry followed after Ginny. He found her in the Common Room, crying. He knew she was embarrassed about what she did but he didn't care. He stil liked her. He knelt next to her and said, "Ginny, are you okay?"

Ginny looked up, tears in her eyes. How could Harry still be talking to her? He was soaked with Pumpkin Juice. She nodded, still crying too hard to really get any voice out.

"Gin, don't worry about the Pumpkin Juice okay?" Harry said. He pointed at the spot where he was wet and said a spell, he was dry again.

Ginny watched as Harry cleared his robes, and her tears started to slowly disappear.

Harry smiled, noticing she wasn't crying anymore. "Where's your next class? I'll walk you there," Harry said taking her hand.

"Okay, I'll walk you," Harry said. He helped her up. She stil seemed a little nervous around him, but he didn't mind. Harry knew she'd get used to him eventually.

Ginny smiled at him, and wiped the tears off of her face. She had apparently been wrong to think that he would have cared about the pumpkin juice.
