Aileena sighed as the sun's rays pushed at her eyelids. She rolled over once more in the grass, aiming her face towards the ground to try to sleep for just a few minutes longer. All she really wanted to do on this warm summer day was lay in the soft patch of grass she had found and sleep.... A pleasant dream of chasing rabbits across the long grassy field she was currently sleeping in over came her one more, and her feet twitched happily as she ran and finally pounced on her prey. Unfortunately even such lovely dreams are never meant to last. Feeling the rabbit's fur under her paw pads was enough to pull her out of the dream and realized she really was touching something furry. Pulling her front paws back towards her, the pale blue female quickly flipped to her feet, since she had been in a rather exposed position lying on her back, and stared at the cub in front of her.
"Uh.... Hi.... Sorry about that, are you all right?" The female was a bit nervous she had clawed the cub who she had thought was a rabbit, and her eyes searched quickly over the fur in search of marks that she could have left. She didn't spot anything, but it was hard to do that through the thickness of Saighneian fur anyway, so it meant little towards her conscience.

Seeshan let out a small cry of suprise when she felt claws against her back, then turned to face her attacker. It was a light blue adult. The blue female was laying on her back, but rolled quickly on to her feet.
"Um... hello," The white cub said quietly looking down at her paws, ".... I'm okay ma'am...." Seeshan was unsure how to respond to the other Saigh. "I'm looking for my brother, Camdin," She asid with out looking up. "Um... is there any chance that you have seen him?
Camdin was hiding from his sister in the tall grass, Seeshan didn't even realize that he was only a few feet away, just out of hearing distance, watching her. When the blue adult attacked his sister, her let out a low growl, and moved quickly towards the females, he slipped behind the adult, who was standing now, and leapt, claws unsheathed at the unknown Saigh's back. "No one attacks my sister!" He hissed angrily, not knowing that the entire thing had been an accident and already been apologized for.

Aileena sighed as she looked at the white cub in front of her. Well, if she said that she was all right, then that must be the case, cubs didn't usually hide that sort of thing. As the female stood in front of the little one a bit awkwardly, she listened to what she was saying about her brother. Shaking her head a bit remorsefully, Ailee sighed again, "Sorry but I- AGH!" Whipping around instinctually, the blue adult tried to determine what in the mist was on her back. Not being able to get a good look, she did the only thing she knew to get it off. She rolled onto her back, trying to get her mysterious attacker to let go.
"Get off me!" When the words that the apparently small attacker had said registered with Ailee's brain, she looked quickly at the white cub in front of her, "You wouldn't happen to know what's going on would you?" The adult was now half on her back, half on her side and once again looking at the white cub from a rather awkward upside-down perspective. How did she get herself into these things? One minute she had been happily waking up from a dream, the next she had just escaped clawing a little cub, and then she had some other little cub clawing her! Ridiculous really, she should just find a cave and never leave it....

Sheeshan gasped as her brother attacked the adult, the adult turned, then began to roll over, stopping halfway, and asking the white cub a question. "Um.. I.. found my brother," She replied meekliy before going and pulling the black cub off the adult Saigh.
After being pulled off the older female, the pissed cub whirled around to face his sister, "Why'd you pull me off?! I was gonna rip her to shreds!" He growled at his sister, who took step back and partially cowered in front of him.
Seeshan blinked and spoke in a begging tone, "Camdin, she didn't mean to do anything! Please, don't be angry!" She still cowered though knowing that her brother would easily get pissed enough to attack her, and win the fight, too.

Aileena was quite relieved when the claws in her back were pulled off, but she was still caused to look at the black cub in a bit of shock. Why was he so vicious? What was his problem? And why did this always happen to her? A cub had snuck up on her.... Great! Clearing her throat a bit, Ailee lowered her eyes towards the little boy, "Um, I would prefer you not rip me to shreds and all.... At least without a reason why...." Though she could easily remember that she had accidently clawed at the little white cub, it hadn't connected in the blue female's mind that the white cub's brother hadn't realized that they had sorted that all out already.
Nodding at what the white cub said, Ailee added, "Really, I-I didn't mean to.... You see I was dreaming of chasing a rabbit and reached out my claws in my sleep and.... But I stopped as soon as I realized what I was doing!" Despite the fact that Aileena was an adult, her voice mirrored the little girl cub's voice quite precisely in tone, "Please don't be angry!" It seemed that she wasn't so far from cubhood that she had out grown such habits of begging.... In an attempt to make amends, Ailee looked at the pair, twins! "I-I'm Aileena, you must be Camdin, right?" She looked towards the little black cub, "But I don't think I caught your name," she said, looking towards the white cub. Her eyes drifted back to the seething black cub fairly regularly though, trying to be prepared if he decided to use her as a scratching tree again....

Camdin whirled to face the bigger Saigh "You should be more careful!"He scolded her as if he was the adult instead of her, "You could've killed her!" His eyes were like blue fire as he glared at the adult, though a keen eye would be able to see tears lined the bottom of the young male's eyes.
Seeshan relaxed as her brother whirled away from her, dropping on to the ground, she looked up at the other female, "Yes, this is Camdin." She said with a small smile, once her twin had stopped yelling at the adult, "I'm Seeshan. Though you can shorten it, if you want." she slowly got back on her paws, "What's your name?" She asked, as she shook dirt out ofher silvery coat.
Camdin hissed at his sister, through gritted teeth, without looking away from the blue adult, "She didn't need to know who we are, Shanie!" He paused before a second then added louder, "And we don't need to know who she is!"

As the young black cub started to yell at her, Aileena tilted her head a bit in confusion. What was this cub thinking? It had been an accident, and there hadn't really been much danger to his sister. Shifting a bit so that she was closer to the white female than Camdin, Ailee turned to look at the female, "It's nice to meet you Seeshan, I'm Aileena...." She had answered before Camdin's remarks had registered in the adult's mind and she then looked with a bit of disgust at the cub.
"What is your problem! It was an a-accident. Just settle d-down...." Though her frustration was the dominant expression on her features, her stuttering revealed that she was still rather uncomfortable with the whole situation. Her blue eyes glanced from one twin to the other, trying to decide what to do. If she stuck around, she would have to continue to tolerate the annoying black cub, but she didn't really want to leave Seeshan alone with her brother. He was so controlling, it wasn't a good situation for the little female to grow up in.... Sighing a bit, she turned to face Camdin, screwing up her nerves to try not to stutter. She started slowly, "Look Camdin, I don't really appreciate how you are treating me, so unless you can be decently polite, I'm just going to walk away...." She realized a she spoke that he might prefer that she just leave, and as that thought passed through her mind, she raised an eyebrow at the ground that she happened to be looking at, and decided that she would just leave if that's what the cubs preferred....

"Oh, please don't go!" The white cub immediately responded, her smile disappering. "I'm sorry, my brother is usually nicer... He's just a little protective." Turning to face her brother, she almost snarled at him, "If your not gonna be nice to Ms. Aileena, then you can go away!" She stood up, as she spoke, her tail straight up to show she wasn't afraid of her brother.
Camdin glared at his sister before turning to walk into the tall grass, calling over is shoulder, in an annoyed voice, "Fine! But if you get cubnapped because I'm not around! Then it's your own fault! and I'm not going to care, at all!" He jogged off to go set up a few pranks to let his anger steam out.
Sheesan tail wilted after her brother left, and she turned to face the adult. "Um.... sorry." She told her, as if it was no big deal, though her face showed that her brother's words had upset her. She didn't know what else to say so she apologized again, "Sorry.... he has a small problem with his anger..."

Aileena had quite expected the female to stay out of the dispute that she was having, so when the little girl's voice was the one that made the decision about whether Aileena left, she was surprised. Turning to face the white cub, she watched at the two argued for a moment, and then raised one eyebrow at the brother's turned up tail. Wasn't he just a delight.... Sighing, Aileena focused her attention on the remaining cub, hoping that nothing as scary as cubnapping occurred, since that wouldn't be good for either of them.
The little female looked so sad now that her brother was gone, and she kept apologizing, which made it even more depressing. "No, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have angered him so much.... Though I'm not sure how you can stand him." Realizing that what she had just said was a bit insensitive, a grimace appeared over Ailee's features and she looked apologetically at Seeshan again. "Everyone has small problems, and it's just the way it is...." She smiled, realizing that now that the hostile cub was gone, she wasn't stuttering hardly at all! She had always noticed that when she was around female cubs she felt much less nervous. She really was still a cub herself, even if her body would disagree with her, so she felt more at home. Laying herself back down on the grass to face the white cub, the blue female tried to get on a more positive note, "So, are you parents around little one?"

Sheesan shook her head, "You were asleep when it happened, there was nothing you could have done." She told the adult, "Well.... Sometimes he can be alittle mean.... Like when he pulls pranks on other Saigh... But he has his good things too." The cub nodded at the adult next remark, "Yeah his little problems are his anger and he loves pranks. Other that he a good Saigh!" She grinned slightly, as she replied. Copying the other Saigh action, the cub layed down, though she flopped on her side, and looked at the adult with a sideways veiw. "Um... My parents? No, they aren't around. Camdin says they're dead, but I don't believe him," She told Aileena. "I think that we were with them, and then some mean creatures, maybe other Saigh, attacked us and our parents fought them off so me and my brother could escape!" She paused for a moment before adding, "I don't quite remember what happened though...."
Camdin had set up a few small pranks, then ran back to the area where he had left the stranger with his sister. he was standing on a large rock, his black for heating up fast in the warm sun over head. He watched the females carefully. I have to do this, for her! If it turns out I'm right about this adult, then Shanie could be cubnapped! Or even worse, killed! He narrowed his eyes, an angry scowl on his face, as watched, waiting for any sign that Aileena might do something to his sister.

Aileena nodded, smiling a bit patronizingly as the little cub reassured her that it hadn't been her fault. These were the times when she was reminded that she was several seasons older than the cub. It just felt silly being reassured by someone so much smaller than her. Camdin pulled pranks, huh? That was a good bit of information to store away for future reference. Though she was apparently already on his bad side, she could still stay out of any vulnerable positions in his presence. Like she wouldn't trust a word he said, nor would she sleep when he was around if she could help it.... As the little cub flopped down near her, Ailee had to smile, this one certainly was precious. How could such a nice little cub spend so much time with such a not nice little cub? Well, they were evidently twins, and their personalities seemed to reflect the stark difference in their coat colors. Sometimes siblings just ended up that way.
Aw, her parents were dead or at least missing, more than likely dead, since they had evidently not been reunited. It was all right to let the little one continue thinking otherwise, though, since it wasn't pleasant to have to deal with that sort of thing. "Well, I'm glad you two were able to make it away all right. How long have you been on your own?"

The younger female frowned, as she tried to remember. When she finally spoke, a few menutes later, she sound unsure and hesitant."Um... I don't know.... A long time." The cub's smile reappered on her face as she said, "But that's okay, cause my brother and I live well enough." The cub moved into a sitting position, "Do you live alone, Miss Aileena?" she asked curiously, "Or do you you have someone special, like a sibling to live with?"
The black cub, thought about laying down, to rest his legs, like the girl were, but then decide to stay standing, so he could be more prepared if Aileena threatened his sister

The summer was turning out so many beautiful days, and this one was no exception, and so as the little white cub thought back in her life, Aileena tilted her head up to the sun and smiled at the warmth that was soaking into her coat. There was nothing better in life than laying on cool, green grass under a warm summer sun. When the cub responded, Ailee nodded, becoming thoughtful of her life. All she could remember was the plains, much the same as it would be for the cub in front of her, for the most part. At least little Sheesan remembered her parents. Those memories would be dear to her for the rest of her life, if she could hold onto them.
The cub's movement drew Aileena's attention back to the present conversation, and she smiled at the cub's question. It was so blissfully innocent, and really quite adorable, "Oh, no, I live on my own. I'm not as lucky as you little dear, I don't have any siblings. I don't mind though, since I meet all sorts of interesting creatures in the plains.... Like you and your brother...." There was a slightly annoyed tone hiding under the first syllable of 'brother', but that was to be expected really, since the poor female had been attacked only a little while ago by the little scamp.... Speaking of which, she hadn't really expected him to really leave, since the two siblings seemed rather close, and Ailee gave a curious glance around her surroundings, but didn't spot the little black cub, and looked instead back to his sister, "Speaking of your brother, do you think he really left? I'm sorry if I scared him off...."

Sheeshan didn't notice the annoyance that had slipped in, when the adult mentioned her brother. She also took a glance around the nearby area, she paused a moment looking almost directly at her brother, but didn't see him. "I don't really know, wether he left or not. And I doubt that you scared him off, he always does that when I disagree with him." Sheeshan looked over in the direction, of Camdin again, having a strange feeling of being watched from that direction. Shaking her head she looked back at the adult, and smiled, happily, "But he's so easy to anger, you don't need to take any offence from what he says." She says, kinda randomly.
The black cub froze when his sister seemed to be staring straight at him, then let out a small sigh of relief as she looked away. He frowned, continuing to watch the females, but realizing that they had almost spotted him.

Aileena nodded at what the cub said, only half paying attention, since for the most part it was all idle chatter between the two of them anyway. Tuning in to Sheeshan's last sentence, however, the blue femme laughed a bit, "Oh, don't worry little one, I'm not that easily offended." Realizing, as she looked past the white cub, that the sun had traveled a ways in the time that the pair had been talking, Ailee knew that it was time for her to get to the safety of a cave. Pulling her feet underneath her, the adult raised herself up and then looked regretfully at the cub in front her.
"Well little Sheeshan, I'm afraid that I need to get going back home before the sun sets..." Looking around, Ailee didn't much want to leave the cub all alone with the sun setting, but she really did need to get going if she was going to make it home before darkness enveloped the plains, "Do you think, uh, do you have somewhere to sleep, or something.... Will you be able to find your brother?"
