I'm performing in the show Sat. night!

Back from the workshops and show!!

They were good. I took a workshop with Amria on Sat. about pop-lock-and stop, and then a workshop with Ariella (formerly of Indigo) on Sunday about breaking down moves, combos and making your movements crisp.

The show was...lol

We went to this thinking OMG, we're performing with Ariella...omg...it's gonna be HUGE...so not.
The show was held at a winery, the stage was 10x14, and I'm not meaning to act like a diva...but we were in the top 5 best acts of the show...that includes the teachers and headliner.

I'm really glad I didnt pay for all the workshops, because I'm told a couple of the ones I didnt take wernt all that great, and my instructor and friend left two of them early, and after seeing the instructors dance? I totaly dont blame them.

Holding the show at the winery was possibly the best idea in the world. lol
Unfortunatly it didnt start until 10pm. Ariella went on at exactly 12:05 to close the show. I think we made it back to our hotel room by 1ish...late shows arnt so wonderful, but the wine was awesome! (I drank half the bottle...and ended up almost chugging the last 1/4th of the bottle. lol No hang over the next day either!!)

So I baught some new Big a** Bindis...and a huge funky kuchi ring that has...er...it's hard to explain...maybe I'll just take a pic of it. lol
Got some cowrie shell clips...which I'm thinking of putting on a tribal belt rather then my hair.

I did have alot of fun, I'm just totaly exhausted.
