yes, not just a suggestion
But I can still remember What his face looked like When I found him in an alley In the middle of the night Tell me what you know Tell me what you've gone and done now
Name: K’em Formerly: Kaheem Age: 25 Sex: Male Orientation: Non-discriminating Rank: Wingsecond
Physical Description: K’em is a very dashing young man, though perhaps a touch short. If it were anyone else, he might be considered a bit plain, but K’em can make dusty brown hair and deep green eyes absolutely fascinating. Really, it’s that whole ‘wild’ look. His hair is unruly, a few inches above his shoulders. He brushes it, certainly, but it still sticks out at all angles. He’s always smiling and the smile is always crooked. While a very friendly youth, he’s completely unpredictable and he’s not shy about letting you know. He dresses casually and he’s usually well kept, save the hair. But if S’kagi can do the emo swoosh, he can wear his at all angles, too.
Personality: As a rule, K’em is completely unpredictable, and he considers it his best trait. There is no such thing as a ‘lose-lose’ situation, not for him. He refuses to take that for an answer. Some might call it stubborn, K’em sees it as resourceful. And where others call that arrogance, K’em calls it confidence. A good dragonman must be confident in himself and his dragon, or they are bound to make mistakes simply because they are second-guessing themselves.
Confident in himself, K’em is also very confident in others. While he’s wild, and occasionally snarky, he’s a very supportive individual. He’s very friendly and rarely takes strife with others, though when he does, the disagreement is often serious. Those incidences are very widely spaced, and need not be worried about. After all, his previous rival turned into his best friend! And speaking of his best friend, K’em is a very competitive individual. He only takes orders those who rank above him. Those on the same level, he could care less.
K’em loves women. Looooves women. If he’s not where he should be, he’s with a female and they are doing inappropriate things. Never question this fact of life.
And if K’em isn’t where he should be, it’s W’ten that’s been sent to fetch him. The pair is inseparable, though most can’t fathom how rule-abiding W’ten can stand wild-child K’em. Well, you know what they say. Opposites attract!
This brown rider is a fantastic individual, and he knows it. He’s bright, talented and incredibly sure of himself. K'em's only fault, as far as he's concerned, is his fear of being left alone. Having been abandoned by Cordel once before, he finds himself very uneasy when his friends seem to be ignoring him. As friendly as he is, he doesn't have that many close friends, and he doesn't want to lose them. He has plenty of coping mechanisms up his sleeve, but K;em would rather not resort to those.
History: Kaheem was born and raised in High Reaches Weyr. His father was a bronze rider (something he is, and will always be, very proud of) and his mother was weyrfolk, a dragon healer. The two had something like a relationship, but Kaheem never really knew his father, not beyond the color of his dragon. His mother did her best to raise him, but Kaheem was a hellion from the start. He was always fighting with the other weyrbrats, trying to prove he could sneak through dark halls or catch more tunnel snakes or what have you.
Of course, getting himself maimed was the perfect way to meet a friend. Kaheem and a bunch of other weyrbrats found the need to go throw glows at a wher, and needless to say, it was a horrible idea. Kaheem. was caught between a wher and a hard place and the brats scattered, leaving Kaheem to fend of himself. Except, one came back. His name was Cordel, and he'd gone to find the handler, effective saving Kaheem. They've been friends since.
When he was fifteen, he was Searched. He did not Impress. He stood for five Turns, and did not Impress. Convinced it was not to be, Kaheem took his place in the stands. Cordel had long since abandoned the prospect of being a dragonrider, exchanging his dream to become a healer. Kaheem decided it was time to join him, but he was too late. Cordel had already met the love of his life and between healing and what's-her-face, Kaheem was left out to dry. Kaheem began to find friends in womenfolk, though said friends were good for one night only. And on the nights no one wanted to hang out with him, he'd drink. After all, without candidicay to keep him busy, he had nothing better to do.
When he twenty, hung-over and watching from the sands, a small brown dragonet ordered him down on the sands and demanded he be fed. With the help of Faroth, K'em had been born. A late bloomer, certainly. Most people don’t Impress at twenty. It was a little odd, being in lessons with younger kids, but once he graduated and was put in a wing, he felt better.
Until he met W’ten. And thus began the rest his life, also known as The Ultimate Showdown. For quite a while, the pair battled, their natures clashing. And they kept at it, and kept at it, and then, at some point, it went from nasty to friendly without either party noticing. And as time when on, it went from friendly to camaraderie. And now, K’em would be lost without W’ten. They are meant to bust each other’s chops and, quite frankly, the fact that K’em is a wing second and W’ten is not is the ultimate chop buster.
Pets: No. Praise be. Other/Talents: It should be noted K’em is a full head shorter than his roommate and best friend, W’ten. He actually often loses all challenges to W’ten. He also seems to end up in the infirmary way more than a dragonrider should.

what have you done nowStand my ground, I won't give in No more denying, I gotta face it Won't close my eyes and hide the truth inside If I don't make it, someone else will
Name: Faroth Color: Brown Physical Description: A larger brown, Faroth is a very deep, mocha brown. He fades out lighter on the tips of his body. His wings are a beautiful marble pattern, the light and dark browns in brilliant contrast with one another. Personality: Faroth is aggressive. A-G-G-R-E-S-S-I-V-E. He likes to win and more than he likes to win, he hates to lose. Everything is a competition to him, everything! He often encourages His to think so and always eggs His on whenever he gets in a fight. K’em’s confidence does nothing but fuel Faroth’s; the dragon is incredibly proud of himself. K’em has confidence, Faroth is sheer pride.
Fortunately, for both of them, K’em has enough sense and strength of will to reel Faroth back in when he starts getting too uppity. A sweet-talker, K’em can usually patch up relationships Faroth botches. Fortunately, the brown doesn’t actually seem to have that much personal interest in flights and only participates when K’em encourages him. He’s chased a few goals in his day, but he doesn’t see anything special about it. He’s not flirty and doesn’t actually care for females (much unlike his). He’d rather be hanging with the guys and competing to prove he’s the best.
