I'm just wondering. I dont know many people who do. I'm learning from my dad so I can repair my own incase something happens. Does anyone else repair?

thats really cool that your dad is teaching you to repair violins, I've done crappy patch jobs on mine, tighening loose chin rests, supergluing pegs together that sort of stuff, but yeah I'd love to actually learn to fix them. 3nodding

i am actually learning to make them. Though it is slow in coming, because i am teaching myself with step by step books and such, a really good website/store is the international luthier supply company, google it for the link, has everything you could ever need for repairs and making!
