Aeolus walked gingerly through a grass field, enjoying the sporadic chirps of crickets. Other than that it was fairly quiet, and he quite enjoyed being alone. From time to time he had to swat away a bothersome bug, but besides them he enjoyed his little walk. White eyes blinking he saw a little farm in the distance, and he wondered if there were any fruit trees. It could be abandoned- and it didn't hurt to look. Nodding to himself he had made up his mind. Heading in his new direction he trotted down a long sloping hill towards the barn. From where he was he could already smell the strong stench of hay and barnyard animals, and he contemplated on turning back. It was a small place, what was the possibility of finding a tree in good bloom anyways? He definitely didn't want to walk among any filthy grazing animals either. With a huff he turned away, sparing his nose from smelling the stench any further.

Pantera yawned as she lay on a branch of her favorite fruit tree, it was in bloom and the wind blue the tiny sweet smelling flowers to the grass below, she nibbled lightly at the pink soft leaves, they didn't taste as good as the fruit that would come but it was still sweet. The fruit feild was not too far from the small farm that she could view from this particular tree. The folk that tended to the smelly animals stayed away usually until the fruit started to ripen and harvest season came in. She had been spotted a few times but left alone, they called her luck or something like that. She licked at the leaves that flew in the air, playing a game with herself, when she spotted something out of the ordinary. It was blue and bright, something odd to find on the edge of the tree line to the farm. She swiftly flew down the tree trunk, spinning around the base of the tree like a squirl and pounced over the grass to get closer to this new curious creature.

In the middle of a yawn from the corner of Aeolus's eye he could see something big and dark gray making their way down a tree and closer towards him. His wings stiffened and a few thoughts flashed before his mind trying to match up with what he saw from his glance could be. For a moment he thought it was a dark snow leopard and was about to take flight before he became prey, until he realized how stupid that idea could be. A snow leopard around this area during the Summer? How ridiculous. Taking a better look he noticed some more prominent features, like wings and two pompous feathers like his own. It was just another pala. Quickly facing back forward continuing his walk, hoping that she did not notice him notice her noticing him. It would be very bad indeed to have someone tag along over and start talking to him, his walk had been interrupted enough for one hour. Aeolus wasn't exactly the most social of pala.
