It was early morning in the swamps. The sun had just started to peek its head over the horizon and the moon said its final fare well for the night. Though, the sun was hardly visible over the thick foliage that decorated the swampie lands. Still, the light over head started to bleed into the thick darkness, erasing the stars as it went.
Tahki awoke earlier then her mother and the rest of the cubs and had started to wander away from the family. Tahki was not a loner, she just loved to explore and experience new and exciting things. That was this cubs nature. Some may see Tahki's wandering as a failure to feel completely accepted because of the drastic difference in her markings compared to her siblings. The truth was that Tahki hadn't noticed her markings differing from her siblings. Tahki was to busy nosing around doing other things.
A bright frog stopped the cub in her tracks as it hopped aimlessly across her path. Apparently the frog hadn't noticed the cub because it stayed infront of the watching cub for a good bit of time. Tahki crouched down low with her butt the only thing sticking in the air. She trained her eyes on the critter and was preparing a pounce.

Parisa awoke with a start, feeling as if something was missing,... It was then she caught a small tail leacing the den. With careful steps, she rose and followed after, quiet as she could possibly be, with her tiny body and seemingly over-sized cubby paws. Hiding in a bush, Parisa finally had caught up with her sister, just in time to catch her crouching. Looking for what it was she might have been playing with, she gave a soft ghasp! as she saw the frog.
Leaping out of the bush, Parisa said; "Don't hurt it!"

Tahki fell on her back side, wide eyed and bushy tailed. The blue white cub looked like silly on her back side just staring at her sister. The frog, of course, used the surprise as a chance to get away.
The surprised white and blue cub hadn't noticed the frogs escape. Tahki's attention was pretty much completely on her sister.
"P-Parisa!? " The cub shifted on to her side still laying on the ground but not looking quite as pathetic. Her tail had partly returned to its normal size.
