Thoughts anyone?
I enjoyed it, thought it was better than DMC2 and 3 but I still think the original is the best. To be honest, I expected to be disappointed with Nero as the playable character rather than Dante but I found myself liking Nero. I like his style of combat too and in some instances even preferred it to Dante. I hardly ever use Dante's numerous weapons, I just stick to Ebony and Iory and Rebellion, so I'd rather have Nero's demonic arm than Dante's extra weapons.
The only thing that disappointed me about the game was that the levels where you could play as Dante were just backtracking through the same areas and boss fights as Nero, and it was a little more boring than the first time playing them with Nero. Also, the enemies are just different version of enemies in the previous 3 games...they just look slightly different or have some added ability but generally they're the same as everthing else.
I preferred the difficulty of this game than that of DMC3. It was easier but not too easy I think.

Can you explain why you love it Ryuna? lol
Well, I enjoyed the story alot, the action and everything was improved, and it wasn't boring at all to me, compared to how I'd get drawn out on the prior series. I did like the switch with Dante, but I agree, it was a bit repetitive, and I like Neo alot. lol The story was great to me, a good love story chase always seems to get me goin. The upbeat music was probably my best niche. It was nice and pumped up through the whole bit. That, and it sounded awsome on my saround sound.

The story drew me in alot more than in the previous games. The characters were built up better. I miss Vergil though. I love the whole DMC series music wink

I mean, to be honest I wouldn't have liked him to be an integral part of the story of DMC4, because there is such a thing as overuse of a character. But it would have been nice to make an appearance. I thought his cool, suave personality was brilliant, a total opposite to Dante, who can get annoying sometimes.
I've thought of another thing that annoyed me..the women in DMC4 were purely just there to gawp at. Nothing against sexy female characters but there was no need for most of them to be in the story and the way they moved and the clothes they wore was like the creators wet dreams...waaaay over-the-top. We don't need to see up Gloria's skirt when she's fighting or watch he boobs wobble ridiculously even though she's only walking..
