 It was a wet day. The night had brought rain, and a over casted day. The weather caused many of the horses stay at their teepees it seemed. Rotom wasn't one of those, he had gone off to find something to do... Someone to tease, anything to entertain him but he simply seemed to have no luck. His transparent legs sunk into the muddy path, and when he lifted his hooves from the ground, the mud had made a casing. "Hm..." He pondered the idea of rolling in the mud but soon gave up on it, making his way to a stream to clean off. If only there was someone...
He hadn't had much interaction with others, and was still learning his right and wrongs.

{Uh, don't be alarmed if its different from Sayuri's Grace. I'm going by my own interpretation. >.<;}
Sunny or not, Grace wasn't going to stay in one place for the whole day; at least its cool when it rains, and the air smells rather nice... Taking a walk sounds like a decent idea to her. As she made her way down a path that was mostly caked with mud from the rain, the Usdia smiled at the sight of fresh hoof prints; it probably means that someone had recently passed by!
Rather excited at the prospects of a new friend, she followed the trail as much as she could; when the hoof-print path ended, she frowned a little, wondering where its owner was heading to. She lifted her head and looked at the horizon, before closing her eyes.
"I think... That's the direction of the stream..." Grace mused out loud to herself, before deciding to take a chance; opening her eyes, she trotted away from the mud and towards the stream, eager to find the owner of the hoof prints.

The transparent usdia was splashing about in the water, getting the mud to rinse off. It had dried and caked to his pelt and he didn't like it very much... Mud baths, what were mares thinking! He had pretty much cleaned himself off and shook.
"Ah... Thats better!" He nodded looking at his legs, he could see the water right through them. He liked that... It was what was normal for him. Not being solid. His ears gave a twitch, it sounded like someone was coming by. The water around him was now muddied... He had probably ruined someones drinking water. Oh well.

Grace trotted happily, softly humming tunelessly to herself. As she neared the stream, the female looked around; there was no other in sight! Frowning, the female decided to approach the stream - it was a hot day, and a drink of water would be nice.
As she neared the water, she realized that there was mud in it, although the running water was slowly carrying it away... And then she realized that she was staring right at another Usdia - or rather, staring right through him. Feeling a little surprised at the sight, the small mare opened her mouth as if to speak, but nothing came out.

Rotom coughed a little. He was use to this kind of reaction. His starred eyes looked over the colorful mare. He liked the color on her. It was soothing. Lke... a type of berry. Any normal horse would have apologized. But Rotom lacked that common sense. "I stepped in some mud. I came here to wash off." He spoke. He walked out of the water and shook off a bit, Water still dripping down his legs. He was going to give her a little jolt but she didn't step into the water. He fun was being ruined.

"Oh, um... Um..." She managed to utter, not fully recovered from her shock yet; it was the first time she had been able to see through a Soquili... Yet this Usdia stallion was acting like its normal! She frowned a little at the thought - if he was born with his 'transparency', it would explain why he found it fine. Grace blinked, and looked down, a blush creeping up her cheeks; of course, her dark pelt covered it up perfectly.
"I'm uh... Sorry for... Staring..." She managed to say, looking up at the other Usdia again. She smiled apologetically, before taking a few steps towards him, "Its just that... Well, you're the first see-through Soquili I've met. Its kind of... Cool."

Rotom blinked over at her and laughed a little. "No, its alright. Honestly, I'm kind of use to it. I was born like this, When I was small... Well you know. My mother always lost me!" He shook his head. "But I'm on my own now, and well... I seem to be the only one around. Makes me a little sad. One day I wanted to pass on the genes." He nodded. He had no idea why he was telling her this.
"Is that a berry in your mane?"

"Really?" The Usdia mare looked curious and fascinated at the same time, although it was rather obvious she was still feeling bad for staring at him earlier. However, she took a small step forward, and peered carefully at the Usdia stallion. It didn't take her long to realize that he does have tinges of color, despite being mostly transparent.
Looking up, the Usdia gave a reassuring nod and smile, "Well, I'm here now, so you're not alone! My name is Grace, what's yours?" She was being sincere; being a friend means being there for each other, after all!
At the mention of berries, Grace's smile widened. Her eyes rolled up, as if to look at the berries that were out of her sight before she turned her attention back to the transparent Usdia. She gave several nods and giggled, "Yes they are! Berries are my favorite fruit, so sometimes, I try to carry a few around... Besides, if someone gets hungry, they can eat them!" She paused before adding jokingly as an afterthought, "They also match my color!"

Rotom has never met a mare that was so.. Well. Sweet and happy. He was a little hesitant at first. His ulterior motives were starting to fade. That she was didn't apologize over and over, like others would.
"I'm Rotom." He smiled at her. He wondered what it would be like to have a friend like her.
"Ooh, really? I had some berries the other day they were delicious." He smiled some. So they had a like for berry in common. "You're right. They match your coloring perfectly. I guess I could say you look delicious too?"

"Rotom..." She echoed, as if repeating it helped her remember the name better. She then gave an excited nod, her smile widening as she replied, "Yes, really! I haven't met someone who don't like berries! In fact, I don't think anyone could say no to them!" She finished with a confident nod, before lowering her head and shaking it gently. The berries on her head dropped off and landed on the ground with a soft 'thud' before rolling a small distance away.
"I've tried all sorts of berries, and they were all juicy and sweet! Well, at least the ripe ones were... The unripe ones were sour and bitter and... Not very delicious at all." After the rambling, the Usdia mare made a weird face, as if to prove her point, "I'll avoid them if I were you!"
The female's eyes widened for a moment at the male's comment before she went back to her normal, smiling self. Giggling, she continued, "I'm delicious? You make it sound like I might make a good snack for someone!"

Rotom laughed some, his star shaped pupils following her berries as she dropped them. He wondered what she was planing to do with them. "Oh i have to agree with that" He nodded. He had some not so good berries before...
"Well you know...." He laughed thinking about a Kalona. Then clearing his throat, he prodded over to the berries, and picked them up for her. "Where you planning on doing something with these?"

"Oh, yes," The Usdia mare blinked at the berries before her, letting out a soft giggle, "Well, I often bring berries around with me in case I need a snack or two... So, I thought we could share those." She tossed her head in the direction of the berries on the ground, gesturing at them. Then, she looked up at Rotom and smiled.
"Go on! I made sure that they're ripe berries before plucking them off the bush," She urged the male gently, inviting him to eat the fruits first; after all, she had some from the same bush as breakfast... However, Rotom deserves to try them too. Smiling again, Grace pushed one in his direction with her snout, "They're really, really sweet!"

Rotom smiled at her, and he took a couple steps forward and took a couple berries. They were indeed very sweet. She had found a good bush. "Wow, Grace they taste wonderful." He was strange, the more he was around her, the more he was feeling 'civilized'. Maybe it was that natural order of things. When you think about it. Rotom barely even noticed the change in his attitude.
"Are you from the area? I'd love to hear about where you got the berries"

Grace beamed, happy and relieved that Rotom had enjoyed the berries as much as she did. Taking another step forward, she took one berry up using her teeth, popping it into her mouth after straightening up. Chewing it, she gave a contented sigh after swallowing, her already huge grin becoming wider.
"I got them from a bush in the forest," She replied, frowning a little; of course, being more of a wanderer, she can't remember where exactly she gets her berries from... It depends on where she is, and what berries are available in the area. Sometimes, she gets lucky enough to find a bush full of ripe, sweet berries when hunting for food. Shaking her head sadly, Grace continued, "Although I can't remember the exact location..."

Rotom tilted his head at her. "Oh, so that means you're a wanderer?" That was to bad he thought. She seemed like someone he could get use to having around. But he would never admit that. "Well thats cool. I tend to wander a bit, but I do have a permanent home I'll go too every few days. So I know the area around here pretty well, since I see it all the time. Do you think you'll ever find somewhere to stay put?"
