As you go through life you'll see There is so much that we Don't understand
And the only thing we know Is things don't always go The way we planned
But you'll see every day That we'll never turn away When it seems all your dreams come undone
We will stand by your side Filled with hope and filled with pride We are more than we are We are one

As she continued her lone trek from her home to find a new place to live, Kaya stopped beneath the shade of a large tree to rest. She missed her family so much. But it was just a part of growing up. She thought back to the morning of her departure. Her Mother, Father, and Brother had given her so much love. Her Brother had left as well.
All these thoughts swirling in her head caused her to start to cry, her head resting against the trunk of the tree. Why did she have to wander alone? Her Daddy or Momma was always with her. There had to be somebody.

Abla smiled softly as her mouse leaned forward to whisper what was around her. The mouse was most of the way a mute. She only talked in whispers and on top of that only talked to Abla. She easily kept up a trot happily humming to herself until her mouse started to describe a lioness that looked some what like what she would expect one of her relatives to look like. She knew that Rosebelle had some grandchildren recently, it wouldn't surprise her if she was coming across one of them but it made her a little sad that the lioness was crying.
She made a small face before wandering over to her and blindly nudging around until she made contact with the lioness. "Whats wrong sweetheart." She said calmy looking in her direction but not looking directly at her with her souless eyes.

Kaya covered her face with her paws as she cried, curling her tail around her hind legs in a kind of protective gesture. Though she did notice another's presence, she made no move to get up. Though her crying did lessen. When she heard a female voice near her she looked up.
Her eyes widened a bit. Not because the darker lionesses eyes were so light in color, or because she was a stranger. She recognised the voice and her markings from her Mother's description.
"I miss my Mother and Father..."

Abla kept and eye in the lionesses direction. Her face twisted in concern. She didn't like the idea of of her family being hurt. She waited for the other lioness to answer her before she sighed softly and curled around the female, nuzzling her softly before smiling. She licked behind the lionesses ears a few times. "Ah sweetheart we all have to leave home some times. I'm sure they miss you too." She smiled softly. "I miss my daughters." She nuzzled her again before resting her head on the lionesses nexk. "Sweetie whats you're name? And how is you're mother?" She asked, she wondered if the lioness knew that she was her grandmother. She could tell that this was Rosebelle's child. She was more than sure this was her.

Kaya returned the nuzzling very happily, having missed such love since leaving. She smiled as the tears stopped completaly, happy to be with a family member. It wasn't hard to figure this sweet lioness was her Grandmother. Not only did she fit the description perfectly, but she was as sweet as her Mother.
"My name is Kaya. Your my Grandmother, aren't you?" She stood and nuzzled her cheek against her blind Grandmother's, purring happily. "You look just like My Mother said. And she is doing wonderfully. She and my Father are a very happy couple. I have a brother too."

Abla smiled as she noticed the younger lionesses tears start to subside. It made her feel better. She was glad to see her happier. She nuzzled her one more time before chucklign softly. "Hello Kaya, and I am. or so I believe, they way your making it sound its like I must be." She laughed again before relaxing some. "Ah. i'm glad. I miss her, I really should spend more time with her, but its hard to wander around these lands some times."
She then smiled again. "I'm getting older everyday." She laughed softly again nudging her gently. "And look at you, all grown up. You can't make me older either."

Kaya nuzzled up to her Grandmother, purring rather contentedly. "Well my Mother did say your name is Abla, right?" She looked up to her Grandmother's eyes and looked away for a moment. Her Mother was blind in her left eye, so she should be more used to the idea. But truthfully it scared her.
She got past it fast enough though and hoped she didn't notice. "It went so quickly. I remember growing...but it was like it lasted a week. Now I'm out looking for a new home and a possible mate. I don't even know what to look for..."

Abla smiled softly and nodded. "Yes. That is my name." She chuckled softly before licking her lips and closing ehr eyes for a moment. It really didn't matter if they were closed or not but she knew that some times it was a break on her eyes. She couldn't see much however the light did effect her eyes some times it made it hurt. She opened her eyes some times. "Ah I know the feeling."
She then chuckled. "You look for some one who cares about you. Who catches your eye, who is sweet." She chuckled softly as she smiled at her. "You look for some one you like basicly." She grinned ocne more at her. It was true. It took her a few times but she finally found some one, she was so glad.

Kaya smiled and sat down, thinking for a little while before speaking. "I want to find a male that can make me laugh. Somebody I can be silly with...but also cuddle with. I want to have cubs of my own someday...so I'd want a male that can help me raise them..."
She shrugged slightly, still thinking to herself about the future. "I have yet to meet many lions really. I met a cousin not too long ago. Kama. But he is gone now."

Abla chuckled softly before nodding to her. "Well I know he won't come right away." She then nuzzled her once more. "But he will come. I promise." She grinned and nuzzled her. Then she sat sat back a little more. "I took me a while." She sighed softly before looking at her. "Ah! Kama! A sweet lion. I haven't seen him in a while Haven't visited Santos in a while."
then she licked her lips. "Well you've met me now! And once you get out there you'll meet plenty!" She giggled softly.

Kaya nodded, looking up at her Grandmother. She really had looked forward to meeting her. And she was very happy she finally did. Her Mother had told stories from her days as a cub. All the stories were fun to listen to.
She stood and looked at the heart shaped rose on her side and smiled brightly. "Am I a part of a big family? I've heard the Rose Petal Pride is large. If it is then you don't need to list them. Just...is it big?"
